In the study of the front-wheel drive bicycle robot, we found a lot of disadvantage in linear control method. This is because the linear system ignores many important nonlinear characteristics. Therefore, we designed a nonlinear control method for the front-wheel drive bicycle robot based on adaptive fuzzy control method. The simulation results are provided to show the efficacy of the adaptive fuzzy control strategy.

Biometric is a reliable system that provides person's authentication and verification using his physical and behavioral characteristics. Most of the previous work has been done on online signature verification involved statistical local and global features extracted from x, y coordinates and pen's pressure. Pen's positions along the time series has not used for verification yet. This motivates us to design an efficient online signature verification system by analyzing Local features consists of x, y coordinates and pen's ups and downs. Features are selected using segmentation such that characteristics of the shape of the signature remain maintained. Euclidean distance and dynamic time warping (DTW) are used for enrollment and matching of questioned sample with reference samples. Proposed method is evaluated on Japanese Online test set from ICDAR2013. system's performance is evaluated by computing EER, FAR, FRR, accuracy and time in seconds. We achieved 78.14% accuracy with average elapsed time of 0.13s using segmentation and 78.57% without segmentation with average elapsed time of 3.42s.

Compared with ordinary data, medical data has its own characteristics. Such as mode of polymorphism, incomplete and longer timeliness. These characteristics brought a lot of difficulties on medical data of collection and processing, so the incremental learning method in the application of medical data is particularly critical. In this paper, Based on the support vector machines（SVM） proposed an incremental learning method that combined with fuzzy c-average and generalized KKT conditions. Through the filter of historical sample set and new sample that is invalid to reduce the training sample. So as to achieve rapid, incremental learning. Finally, the improved algorithm applied to the two standard medical database from UCI, which verify the improved algorithm advantage.

In a secure data sharing system, the keyword search over encrypted files is a basic need of a user with appropriate privileges. Although the traditional searchable encryption technique can provide the privacy protection, two critical issues still should be considered. Firstly, a cloud server may be selfish in order to save its computing resources, and thus returns only a fragment of results to reply a search query. Secondly, since different keys are always used for different document sets, making a search query over massive sets and verifying the search results are both impractical for a user with massive keys. In this paper, we propose a scheme named "verifiable searchable encryption with aggregate keys". In the scheme, a data owner need only distribute a single aggregate key to other users to selectively share both search and verification privileges over his/her document sets. After obtaining such a key, a user can use it not only for generating a single trapdoor as a keyword search query, but for verifying whether the server just conducts a part of computing for the search request. Then, we define the requirements of the scheme and give a valid construction. Finally, our analysis and performance evaluation demonstrate that the scheme are practical and secure. © Springer international Publishing Switzerland 2016.

Data mining is a process of discovering information from large datasets by using automated algorithms, which makes it difficult for users to intuitively understand, explore and optimize the datasets and algorithms process. Recently with the development of the visual field, researchers have been exploring how to use the visualization methods to make users intuitively understand datasets and algorithms. In this paper we introduce the concept of visual data mining and dissect the visual data mining technology, mainly focusing on three related aspects: source data, data mining processes and data mining results;then design and implement a visual mining system based on decision tree algorithm, which achieves the encapsulation of data mining algorithms, and presents to the user a simple interactive interface, so that users can carry out visual data mining;finally apply the visual data mining technology to the survey data of elderly anxiety patients, and analyze the decision rules of anxiety disorders, which has important significance for clinical research and decision-making.

Recently, human-centered technology development is in the limelight. It reflects user characteristics, including the physical and psychological characteristics of humans. In particular, numerous intelligent systems have been developed to prove humans with the services required for a living space. In this study, a middleware system was developed to analyze a user’s emotions using brain waves to control the brightness and color of light accordingly. The middleware in a smart building analyzes the brain waves acquired from the sensors of each household and uses this information to appropriately control the brightness and color of the light in the proper space. Such a system could be utilized in a variety of fields. For example, an intelligent apartment could provide a comfortable indoor environment, as well as save energy, and light therapy could be used to treat depression and insomniac. © Springer Science+Business Media Singapore 2016.

Palm vein recognition is a developing biometric identification *** can be used in physical security and information security for selective control of access to a place or *** to the palm vein recognition,vein enhancement is generally required for a better *** this paper,we propose a vein enhancement method combining Karhunen-Loeve(KL) transform and hue-preserving color image enhancement *** results show that the proposed method is robust to shadow affect,can give better visualization results,and can significantly improve the contrast and contour details of image(the contrast ratio increases by 2.3%,edge intensity increases by 8.8%,and definition increases by 66.9%) comparing to the traditional enhancement methods.

Rapid urbanization has generated a large number of construction land problems in China, such as the idleness and illegal use of land. Whereas most methods have focused on the discovery of idle construction land by spatial overlay analysis, far less attention has been paid to the prediction of the idle construction land in advance. In this paper, a new method based on the Gradient Boosting Machine and relevant feature extraction is introduced to predict the status of construction land. Compared with other machine learning algorithms, Gradient Boosting Machine method achieves the best performance. It can be used to improve land use efficiency and avoid waste of land resources as well.

It is analyzed the requirements of run-of-river small hydropower station group(RSHSG) short-term power forecast in this thesis. And the functions of short-term power forecast system is detailedly described from the software structure. Finally, selecting the data from April.2016 and May.2016, the application effectiveness of system is analyzed by comparing the accuracy both in time and space scale. The successful application of system in Guizhou Power Grid, has great significance in improving managementlevel of grid dispatch and safe operation of the power grid.

This paper introduces the OpenBuild toolbox for MATLAB. OpenBuild is a toolbox for advanced controller design for buildings heating ventilation and air conditioning systems, with emphasis on Model Predictive control. It provides researchers in the control community the ability to test algorithms on a wide range of realistic simulation scenarios, by providing most of the data needed to perform simulation and optimization. It combines the convenience of controller design in MATLAB with the simulation capabilities of the building simulation software EnergyPlus. It includes a building modeling tool to construct linear state-space models of building thermodynamics based on building description data, making it useful for design of optimal controllers requiring a good prediction model, as well as providing the input data necessary for simulation such as weather, occupancy and internal gains data. The ability to co-simulate the building between MATLAB and EnergyPlus enables fast prototyping and validation of the models and controllers. This paper presents the working principles and functionality of OpenBuild.
