With the cost declining of Photovoltaic (PV) power generation and the support of government, it can be expected that a large number of PV systems will be accessed to the distribution network in the future. The development of active distribution network provides a good solution to improve the intermittent energy consumptive ability of distribution network. Active distribution network is able to control the controllable units flexibly and effectively. Thus it can achieve optimal operation ensuring system stability and power quality. Based on the existing optimization strategies, this paper proposed two kind optimal strategies according to time scale, long-term comprehensive optimization (in 24 hours) and short-term real-time optimization (in 15 to 30 minutes). to achieve the most economical operation within one day with real-time error correction. Here considering PV power generation as one kind intermittent energy source accessed to the distribution network, long-term optimization needs daily loads and PV systems daily forecast information and short-term realtime optimization needs the ultra short-term forecast of the PV system. Considering the computing time and prediction accuracy, this paper applied PV system grey prediction methods (GM (1, 1)). At last, this paper verified the economical and effective characters of the optimization control strategy by a proper case.

This paper presents a proposed design of a leg rehabilitation system. The system will be implemented on a reconfigurable wheelchair prototype in order to provide additional two rotational degrees of freedom (DOF) for serving more rehabilitation purposes. Lagrangian dynamic formulation is used to derive the system dynamics. Joints frictions based on Coulomb friction model are considered in the leg rehabilitation system. The system equations of motion are linearized since the model is dealt with in state space representation. LQR control approach is considered and derived for stabilization of the system. Simulation Results validating the model and the control approach are presented and discussed.

The product of Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Unit1 Fuel Handling and Storage (PMC) system is the first Chinese PMC system, with its own intellectual property rights. During the development and design lifecycle for the product, China Nuclear controlsystemengineering Co., Ltd (CNCS) was responsible for Verification and Validation (V&V) processes of the PMC system, taking a significant role for ensuring the reliability and safety of the software in PMC system. The PMC V&V project is also the first ever independent V&V project of the China nuclear industry. V&V is a technical discipline of systems engineering. The purpose of V&V is to help the development team build quality into the system during the life cycle. The V&V processes determine whether the product developed satisfies its intended use and user's needs. V&V provides an objective assessment of products and processes throughout the life cycle. This assessment demonstrates whether the requirements are correct, complete, accurate, consistent, and testable. CNCS V&V PMC project team performed PMC V&V activities in compliance with ieee Std 1012-1998, which is endorsed by NRC Regulatory Guide 1.168-2004. After critical analyses by V&V team, the Software Integrity Level (SIL) of PMC is SIL3, so associated V&V activities must conform to the minimum tasks list in ieee Std 1012-1998 Table 1. After 2 years of hard working, Fangjiashan NPP Unit1 PMC system V&V activities have been completed. The whole activities and methodology was passed the final evaluation by the customer and was highly compliment by the international V&V expert committee at year of 2012. This paper presents an active fault-tolerant control for linear system in case of actuator and sensor faults where these minor faults lead to degraded performance of the system. Three steps are proposed to achieve fault tolerant control based on simplified analytical redundancy. Firstly, a bank of linear observer is proposed to estimate the actuator and sensor faults by modeling a descriptor LTI system using the SVD technique. Secondly, the estimated faults are used to design a fault decision scheme to detect the faults correctly. Thirdly, a reconfigurable fault-tolerant control scheme is designed by using the estimated faults to compensate the fault effects on controller performance. Simulation on the three tank system is given to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.

Ultra-wideband (UWB) heart-rate monitor designed in this text mainly consists of controller, pulse generator, pulse receiver, and displayer. controller controls the pulse generating and receiving and heart-rate display. Based on the characteristics of avalanche of RF-BJT, we designed an UWB pulse generator in this paper. By simulating and debugging, we successfully obtained the bipolar UWB pulse, with the peak-to-valley voltage 6.7 V and peak-to-valley width 600 ps. Along with the development of air transportation industry, aircraft in airspace increase dramatically which threats the airspace safety because of the great difficulty to keep required separation between aircraft when aircraft density is very high. Conflict resolution plays an important role in guaranteeing airspace safety by eliminating conflicts, which has drawn much attention. Compared with current approaches, we propose a multi-agent solution to aircraft conflict resolution based on satisficing game theory which considers the decreases in conflicts and economic losses. Firstly, aircraft involved in conflicts are assigned different statuses based on specially designed priority ranking mechanism. Then, they can choose the most satisficing strategy from policy set including five speed adjustment strategy with consideration of others' preference. Finally, a new evaluation criterion based on Required Time Arrival (RTA) is introduced to ensure that the whole system can reach a socially coherent compromise. Simulation results on three classical scenarios show that our approach has strong adaptability and robustness in conflict resolution problem.
