The paper proposes an image super resolution reconstruction algorithm based on sparse representation and the UV chroma processing. For each patch of the low resolution inputimages, a sparse representation is sought togenerate the high-resolution output. The sparse representation of a low resolution image patch can be applied togenerate a high resolution image patch through dictionary learning. Tofurther improve the effects of super resolution images, the UV chroma processing based on super resolution luminance information with bilateral filtering is put forward as well. The experimental results show the method in this paper obtains better outcomes nomatter in visual effects or in the quality measures of RMSE and SSIM.

One method was proposed for mesh refinementin surface reconstruction which can be considered as a critical problem tomonocular reconstruction. The main idea of the method is the implementation can be applicable and efficient by parallelization. Itis un-necessary toconform photo-consistent constrain, alternatively, time-consistency is introduced in by a view-dependent way. The experimental result shows that the time-consumption can be controlled on common hardware since the energy minimization algorithm can be highly paralleled implementation based on GPU-acceleration.

In this paper, Multi-dimensional fuzzy set calculation model is introduced, and the method is called Konohen fuzzy. For some actual purposes, formal expression functional model for multi-dimensional solution space can not be obtained so easily. We propose the SPF : sample points based fuzzy set definition method to descrive multi-dimensional fuzzy set which is used to model problems on high-dimensional solution spaces. Konohen fuzzy handles more free styled fuzzy set shapes in multi-dimensional spaces than previous methods. The SPF is consist of a set of random finite sample points and a set of their membership values. Membership values of arbitrary points are obtained using interpolation, and this method makes it possible to handle complex and complicated systems in simple way that is an original goal of fuzzy logic. A numerical example results show that calculation error between SPF and overall interpolation is very small.

Memory protection mechanisms have become important in embedded systems because programs are becoming larger and more complex, and the failure of one program can corrupt other programs. In order to isolate failures and to prevent the failure of one program from propagating throughout the system, memory protection is required. Recently, memory protection is also required in safety-critical embedded systems. In embedded systems, the memory protection mechanisms are used the memory management unit (MMU) function in a CPU. However, the overhead cost of system calls to the OS is very large because the system calls are implemented by a software trap, which decreases the system performance. The goal of the present study is to provide a lightweight memory protection mechanism in the privilege memory space in order to protect a real-time OS from unintended behaviors of application programs in the privilege memory space. An application program in the privilege level in an embedded system, which is accessible to registers in peripheral devices and can execute privilege instructions for the embedded system, is crucial. We design and implement the light memory protection mechanism in the privilege memory space in real-time OS using MMU in ARM processor. We show that our memory protection mechanism is effective in a real application because of very small increase of execution time.

This paper investigates image denoising algorithm based on sparse representation with over-complete *** K-SVD(Singular Value Decomposition) algorithm is used totrain the over-complete dictionary, followed by OMP(Orthogonal Matching Pursuit) algorithm for image sparse *** this strategy achieves good performance on image denoising, it has high computational complexity. In order tospeed up computation, Batch-OMP instead of OMP algorithm is adopted toimprove the denosing algorithm, which significantly shortens the running time. Finally, analysis is made on the configuration of parameters versus the performance in the denoising algorithm;we use particle swarm optimization algorithm tolearn the best parameters.

Distributed information retrieval will be a general practice of searching in the exponentially growing scientific literature. At the core of the success for efficient and effective distributed literature search is an adequate sharding policy. This paper proposes a novel sharding policy for literature search that bases on cutting the document citation and co-citation graphs. Experiments on the iSearch test collection reveal that relevant documents for a given query distribute over the shards generated through citation graph cutting in such a pattern that a few shards becomes optimal shards thus can be leveraged in a selective search strategy, potentially leading to efficient and effective literature search solutions.

Behavior-based control present a different approach in designing control system of robot. In this paper will be implemented behavior-based control system into an autonomous robot using Active Object computing Model technique. With this technique will be demonstrated coordination between behavior in parallel and switching behavior. Map building behavior is a behavior of robot to transform the reading of distance sensor to image of environment. In testing, it was shown the coordination of behavior in parallel was successfully demonstrated by map building behavior and wall following behavior. Map building behavior also successfully represents the reading of distance sensor into a map the environment in the form of images.

Power policies are widely applied at computer systems such as desktops, notebooks, and smartphones. For example, the timeout policy to turn off the display. A power management policy must be tested by measuring the power consumption of an experimental platform running workloads. Such tests must be fast enough to feedback the development process with valuable information about the power policy performance. In this work, we have presented a methodology for estimating computer systems power consumption for time scaled experiments. Using the proposed methodology, we have reduced the overall time for developing a power management policy.
