Cloud computing is a revolutionary information technology paradigm, which provides users with unlimited, scalale, low-cost and convenient resource services, but when data is outsourced to a semi-trusted cloud server, challenging security issues such as user privacy, access control, etc. still urgently need to be addressed. Attribute-based encryption（ABE） scheme can provide sufficient data security and fine-grained access control for cloud data. However, the limitation of ABE is that user’s privacy would be disclosed with the access policy（structure） stored in clear text. Some works sacrificed the computing efficiency, key length or ciphertext size for privacy concerns. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes an efficient anonymous attributebased encryption scheme with access policy hidden. Using the idea of Boolean equivalent transformation, the proposed scheme can achieve fast encryption and protect the privacy for both data owner and legitimate access user. In addition, the proposed scheme can satisfy constant secret key length and reasonable size of ciphertext requirements. We conduct theoretical security analysis, and carry out experiments to prove that the proposed scheme has good performance in terms of computational, communication and storage overheads.

To get rid of durance of distribution environment on Tujia Brocade dissemination and provide a more comprehensive and immersive learning environment of Tujia brocade, this paper designs a system on Tujia Brocade cultural coordinate panorama display based on touch screen, and establishes panoramic scenes which takes the birthplace of Tujia brocade named Lao Chehe village as the cultural coordinates of Tujia brocade. What’s more, the system has ten panoramic scenes, which completes following functions: viewpoint control, scenes shifting, hotspot information, touch operation and voice explanation. Users can have real-time interaction with ecological panorama of Tujia Brocade Laoche village in the scene, this will contribute to the digital protection and social dissemination of Tujia brocade.

Traditional approaches to apply tabu search method typically require formulating an algorithmic structure for each individual problem. Based on algebraic specifications, the paper presents a unified and mechanical framework for implementing tabu search algorithms for combinatorial optimization problems. We define a generalized specification using high-order functions to describe search strategies, from which efficient algorithms can be generated for concrete problems by data type refinement and functional refinement. We also extend the framework for multi-objective problems by enriching specification behaviors. Our approach achieves a high level of abstraction and mechanization without losing performance. ©2010 ieee.

In recent years, the near-infrared spectroscopy measurement technology in China has made considerable progress;it has been widely used in the fields of agriculture, chemistry, geology, and medicine measurement. The nearinfrared spectroscopy is very sensitive to the characteristics of CH(methyl, a methylene group, a methoxy group, a carboxyl group, an aryl group, etc.), hydroxy O-H, mercapto S-H, and amino N-H. So, it can distinguish the crystallinity of single mineral(clay minerals, chlorite, serpentine, etc.), containing hydroxy silicate minerals(epidote, amphibole, etc.), sulfate minerals(alunite, pyritepotassium alum, gypsum, etc.), and carbonate minerals(calcite, dolomite, etc.) in the layered silicate. The character of near-infrared spectroscopy is one of the important guarantees for the instrument development of the small portable near-infrared mineral analyzer, and for its fast, accurate identification of rock samples. In this paper, we focus on the near-infrared spectral characteristics, identification method, and quantitative analysis method for the low-temperature alteration minerals;at the same time, a portable near infrared spectrometer and its principle were presented. In the experiment, spectral parameters were acquired from the characteristic spectra of altered minerals, and the relationship between altered minerals and ore-forming were established. The measured spectral data from the drilling rock cores in Zijinshan Mine in Fujian province was used as an example to illustrate the credibility of the proposed method.

The full polarimetric information of the target from polarized Synthetic Aperture Radar (POLSAR) enables us to implement recognition and classification of remote sensing images more effectively. Based on the analysis of typical polarized target decomposition and classification, the issue proposes a new scheme for iterative classification of polarimetric SAR image, which blends the outcomes of Yamaguchi decomposition and H/α decomposition. This technique extracts four decomposition coefficients of four scattering mechanism components through Yamaguchi decomposition, the scattering entropy and angle through H/α decomposition first;then the initial classification of the POLSAR images is done by the combination of the 6 parameters mentioned above. The final result is obtained by iterative classification due to coherence scattering matrix following wishart distribution. The effectiveness of this method plus less computation required is demonstrated by the experimental results of polarimetric SAR data. ©2010 ieee.

Emulab is an emulation-based network test-bed constructed for research and education. It is used for building and testing applications in fields of information security and computer network. The application of Emulab is being extended to parallel processing of scientific data. The DNA sequence search is one of major research areas in the bio-informatics. With the high-performance computing, the biologists can get their results easily and faster. mpiBLAST and mr-mpi-blast can process DNA sequence alignment on parallel computer. In this research, the research environments for mpiBLAST and mr-mpi-blast are built on Emulab. Also, the DNA sequence alignment is performed with NCBI database. This research shows that the Emulab is an effective environment for the research of the bio-informatics.

Under the frame of a project of ieee Computer Society for compiling a world history of informatics, at the end of1996 Russian National Sub-Committee of ieee Computer Society was working on historiography of Soviet and Russian informatics. To ascertain the chronology of the main events, the Committee looked through numerous documents and talked to those who had lived at the period when the first Soviet electronic computing machines had been developed. Thus the Committee established the dates when first computers were created, first programs written, first books and manuals were published and first university courses were read. The results were summed up in a paper on ¡°Computers in Russia: Science, Education, and Industry? published in ieee Annals of the History of computing (vol. 21, No. 3, Jul-Sept, 1999).

SERVQUAL model has been used to measure service quality in different industries. In most cases, this model was validated by confirmatory factor analysis approach. The objective of this research is to validate SERVQUAL model with higher order factor analysis approach to find whether or not there is a second-order component of service quality in the context of information system use. For this objective, an empirical study is proceeded to validate one IS-adapted SERVQUAL model in the context of an e-learning system use. Results under higher order factor analysis approach reveal good fitness and effectiveness, which will provide support for the future research on relationships among affected factors with service quality. ©2010 ieee.

In this paper, we propose an efficient pose machine using Parameter-Sensitive Hashing(PSH) techniques. Based on the original pose machine, which is a sequential prediction framework, we employ the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)to extract features. To handle the high dimensional feature vectors and conduct similarity search efficiently, we use the Parameter-Sensitive Hashing Function(PSHF) to map the feature vectors into binary values. The property of the PSHF ensures that the collisions happen when two vectors are near to each other and the search can be completed in a fractional power time. We apply our approach to the popular datasets including LSP and FLIC and make a comparison with previous methods based on a criterion of strict Percentage of Correct Parts(PCP).Experimental results reflect that our approach outperforms previous methods in accuracy.

Protein is an important molecule that performs a wide range of functions in biological systems. The GOR algorithm is one of the most successful computational methods to predict secondary structure from protein sequence. FPGA chips have emerged as one promising application accelerator to accelerate bioinformatics algorithms by exploiting fine-grained custom design. In this paper, we propose a complete fine-grained parallel hardware implementation on FPGA XC5VLX330 chip to accelerate the GOR IV package for protein secondary structure prediction. The experimental results show a speedup factor of more than 430x over the GOR-IV software version running on a PC platform with AMD Phenom 9650 Quad CPU for 2-Dimensional protein structure prediction. However, the power consumption is only about 30% of that of current general-purpose CPUs. ©2010 ieee.
