In 2008, Lotfi Zadeh concluded that to make significant progress toward achievement of human level machine intelligence a paradigm shift is needed. In previous papers we introduced the computational information conservation theory (CICT) approach to get more effective and reliable cognitive, biophysical, and biomedical engineering simulation solutions. CICT new computational information conservation awareness can open the way for a paradigm shift to recover lost coherence information in system description and to develop even advanced quantum cognitive systems. To achieve this result, in present paper, we show the fundamental pre-spatial geometro-arithmetic scheme defining optimized numeric word generators and relations to minimize the traditional multiscale statistic modeling veil opacity and information entropy generation. It is the first, fundamental step to an effective progression from computing with numbers to computing with numeric words with precisation of their meaning. This paper is a relevant contribution towards an effective and convenient "Science 2.0" universal computational framework to achieve deeper cognitive intelligence at your fingertips and beyond.

Online wallet has become an important method to manage Bitcoin. In a Bitcoin transaction, online wallet manages the private key automatically, and stores the encrypted private key in remote to ensure the accessibility of Bitcoin anywhere. In the traditional online wallet, the private key is stored centrally in a storage unit. However, if the storage unit is collapsed or hacked, users will suffer the risk of losing their *** by this, in this paper, we propose a new online wallet architecture: HA-eWallet. In HA-eWallet, the transaction of Bitcoin is signed by multiple private keys rather than one, and private keys are stored separately in different places. In addition,we introduce a second service unit to construct the Active-Active architecture to rotate the capability and workload. Besides, we adopt a disaster recovery strategy in our proposed architecture in case of any disaster. According to the running states of each service unit, HA-eWallet have three operation models, and can be switched smoothly. Theoretical analyses and experiments show that: HA-eWallet can achieve higher availability compared with the traditional online wallet architecture, and users will not suffer a loss as long as the number of lost private keys are less than50% of the users’ total number of private keys.

Personal Health Records（PHR） is patient-centric healthcare system, which allows patients to control who can get access to their health records and which section of the record can be accessed. Hot issues such as access control, patients control degree, and privacy protection, etc. are still the challenging concerns while designing a secure PHR *** this paper, we propose ds PPS, a secure integrated PHR framework（from health data collection to health data sharing）that meets patients’ full control of their PHR and sufficient privacy preservation. Specifically, ds PPS provides two schemes:Biometric-Based secure health data Collection（BBC） scheme and Attribute-Based health record Accessing（ABA） scheme. While BBC scheme enables patients to collect their scattered health data from multiple typical health systems securely and efficiently,the ABA scheme allows users（health systems） access to the PHR server with their sensitive attributes being protected. Comprehensive analysis is conducted to show the security of ds PPS against typical attacks. In addition, experiments in both smart phone and PC（Intel） platforms demonstrate that ds PPS produces reasonable performance in terms of storage, communication and computational overheads.

Since airlines usually keep their price strategies as commercial secrets and information is always asymmetric, it is difficult for ordinary customers to estimate future flight price changes. However, a reasonable prediction can help customers make decisions when to buy air tickets for a lower *** price prediction can be regarded as a typical time series prediction problem. There are usually two main methods to solve this problem. One is using classical time series prediction methods such as ARIMA, etc. Another is extracting certain features and using regression models. For the latter, sometimes the flight price is context-aware, making it difficult to get an optimized single regression model for the whole price series. Meanwhile, effective context features vary on different air routes and change with time, therefore it is difficult to model context *** this paper, we propose a context-aware ensemble regression model named ACER which combines different context-aware models and adjusts context features adaptively. Inspired by the idea of bagging and boosting, context features are randomly selected to cluster data efficiently and multiple regression models are trained for data with different contexts. In addition, the context feature list is dynamically adjusted by dropping some irrelevant features. In the experiment on the real data set, our model is compared with the baseline regression model, random forest and classical time series models. The results show that ACER performs much better than the other models.

A theory of fuzzy probability is presented based on fuzzy sets, which extends the conventional evenly distributed probability space to a complex distribution of fuzzy probability space. A mathematical model of fuzzy probability is formally introduced in the fuzzy sample space. Algebraic operators of fuzzy probability are rigorously described with a set of theorems on the algebra of fuzzy probabilities. Typical applications of the fuzzy probability theory are illustrated for dealing with random fuzzy events, fuzzy causations, and semantic uncertainties in formal inference, qualification, quantification, classification, cognitive linguistics, cognitive informatics, computational intelligence, and cognitive computing.

With the flourishing development of construction and real estate industry, engineering accidents happen more frequently. The purpose of this paper is to generate emergency case as quick as possible so as to improve the quick emergency reaction capability when engineering accident happens. The flow of CBR based emergency case generating system (CBR/ECGS) under engineering accidents is studied. Both the static and dynamic case presentation technologies for CBR/ECGS are designed, and the case retrieval, case adaptation and case maintenance technologies for CBR/ECGS are proposed. It can be seen from running result of CBR/ECGS that, comparing with the result under the mode in which artificial adjustment is allowed, the overcast degree of emergency cases generated by CBR/ECGS under the mode in which only automatic system adjustment is allowed is almost the same. The validity of CBR/ECGS proposed in this paper is validated, and CBR is suitable for solving complex, non-structure problems such as emergency case generating under engineering accidents. ©2010 ieee.

The Distributed Coordination Function (DCF) in the ieee 802.11 protocol is a random access scheme based on the carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA). In recent years, there have been numerous research on the performance analysis and model of DCF under the assumption that the transmission queue is always nonempty (i.e. saturation state). In this paper, we propose a dynamic priority back-up algorithm (DPBA) for ieee802.11 DCF, the basic idea of DPBA is each node should collect statistical data of other node's transmission while sensing the channel, and maintaining a sending data table for all node in network. When the node has data to transmit, it will calculate the dynamic priority and connection window according to the number of successful sending, the number of successful sending and the statistical data in sending table. Simulation results show that DPBA can properly assign channel among nodes in proportion to their dynamic priority as well as enhance the network saturation throughput. ©2010 ieee.

Cloud computing recently offers immense benefits. But higher education institutions (HEIs) are hesitating to adopt. As a result, they are not benefited more from such technology. This is because key adoption capabilities are not explored in detail in HEIs context. In addition to this, there is no comprehensive empirically validated adoption readiness assessment model which helps them to adopt Cloud solutions efficiently. Hence, to fill this gap this study identifies the critical capabilities and develops a model to assess Cloud computing adoption readiness of higher education institutions before initiating the adoption. Resource based view theory was used as theoretical lens to identify capabilities and to build the model. The conceptual model considers adoption readiness and adoption success from technological, human, organizational, financial and external environment dimensions. The model proposes that the degree to which an organization holds these capabilities is related to the degree to which they are ready to deploy and use computing resources, thereby increasing the possibility of adoption success. Further empirical research will be used to validate and refine the conceptual model.

Large and complex buildings built in China in recent years, such as Olympic venues, airports, and large hospitals, have brought new fire evacuation problems. Many designs are using Internet of Things (IOT) technology to enhance buildings' perception of flames and smoke. In this paper, in addition to using IoT to improve the fire-awareness of buildings, a set of algorithms based on the Dijkstra' s shortest path method is designed to operate on the local FPGA edge computing terminal to determine the current optimal evacuation path. An IoT system with an evacuation lighting system provides an optimal route indication for people in the *** with the traditional Internet of Things and cloud computing technology, this design uses FPGA near the data terminal to process and analyze the collected data in real time, which effectively improves the speed of data response and Reduced bandwidth congestion caused by massive *** power consumption of *** system was tested in the office building of Beijing University of Technology, which can effectively indicate the path under different fire *** the event of a fire, the evacuation algorithm can be updated every 10 seconds, and the emergency lights are updated every 5 seconds and indicate an emergency route.
