Food packaging serves several purposes, including food preservation, shelf-life extension, and upholding quality and safety requirements throughout manufacturing and storage. Intelligent food packaging, on the other hand, goes a step further by including sensors that continually check food quality throughout the supply chain. This enables food-borne sickness and waste to be analyzed and reduced. The existing systems are limited in accuracy and they are unable to extract the actual state of the food. Furthermore, the practical implementations remain restricted. In this paper, an IoT based food quality checking system is designed to check the quality of the food and ensures whether it can be edible or not in a real-time environment. This helps the food producers and consumers to indicate the status of food for further processing for intelligent packaging. © 2024 IEEE.

In the field of electrical power systems, effective fault detection, and minimization are crucial for maintaining system reliability and operational efficiency. This paper introduces machine learning based Adaptive Fault Reduction Algorithm (AFRA), a novel performance optimization approach designed to reduce fault occurrences significantly of electrical power systems. We used a binary classification dataset with a total of 12,001 data samples for this research. Random Forest (RF) model was used for fault detection and compared its performance against the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. RF model demonstrated accuracy, precision, and recall, with scores of 99.79%, 99.64%, and 99.91% respectively, compared to the ANN’s 99.54%, 99.54%, and 99.45%. By integrating AFRA, we reduced the number of fault events from 5,496 to just 6, achieving a 99.89% reduction. Our approach highlights the importance of optimization in fault detection and minimization methodologies, offering a robust framework for improving system reliability. The promising results achieved by AFRA suggest significant potential for its application in real-time monitoring and dynamic fault detection and minimization in power systems. ©2024 IEEE.

Preventing child abduction is another example of application of Artificial Intelligence, sensors and GNSS. Some of the common crimes against abducted children are already known by mainstream media. AI, GNSS and sensors have shown a potential solution to this problem. GNSS chips are as small as 3 millimeters. Their power consumption is so low that even a solar charger smaller than the smallest nail on human hand can power them. In conclusion, such a device can be easily implemented and hidden with child accessories. It makes it difficult for the kidnapper to detect them. It also ensures speedy and timely delivery of justice for the victim. Different sensors make it easy for the device to detect kidnapping at an early stage. Experiments were done with different sensors in 3D. Various possibilities of power source were also studied. Artificial Intelligence was used to figure out a common pattern related to time, location, vehicle, and transportation of the victims. This data can help to reunite families with their abducted children. Yes, big data was also employed to discover a pattern in child abduction and child trafficking. Comparison was made with already existing technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Self-Operated and Efficient Recruitment Procedure using Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) can be exercised in companies to enhance the quality of resume evaluation and to reduce human errors. The main motive of this application is to automate the entire evaluation process and let the company know the candidates with the appropriate quality based on the job requirements. The project is a Web-based application into which all the resume of candidates along with the job requirements will be uploaded for each job individually. The PDF resume is extracted into digital text using Object Char-acter Recognition (OCR) and tokenized using NLTK. Candidates will be shortlisted accordingly. Finally, the shortlisted candidates are sent an inter-view invite through email. At the back end, the application uses Redis for the cache storage and Postgres database for secondary data storage for future use. Google Calendar API and GitHub API is used for sending invites and in-depth analysis of the candidates respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Phase Shift Keying (PSK) is a modulation technique extensively utilized in modern communication systems due to its reliability and efficiency. However, despite its benefits, PSK encounters several significant challenges, including limited spectral efficiency, high sensitivity to phase noise, increased complexity with higher-order formats, and vulnerability to nonlinear distortions. These issues hinder PSK's performance and limit its application in high-speed and high-capacity communication environments. This study delves into these limitations and examines recent advancements aimed at mitigating them. Key innovations explored include hybrid modulation schemes that combine PSK with other techniques to enhance performance, advanced error-correcting codes that improve reliability, adaptive modulation methods that adjust to varying conditions, and the integration of photonic technologies that offer new capabilities. These developments are anticipated to address the current shortcomings of PSK, enabling it to handle greater data rates and more complex communication scenarios effectively. By providing a comprehensive analysis of both existing challenges and emerging solutions, this research offers valuable insights for optimizing PSK and advancing communication technologies. Aims to redefine the landscape of the cottage industry with an innovative social web application designed to simplify the exchange of handcrafted items. At its heart, the platform aims to bridge the gap between producers and customers by providing a thriving marketplace for one-of-a-kind, handcrafted things. With a focus on encouraging job possibilities, particularly for women, the application corresponds with the wider purpose of supporting "women empowerment" and contributing to national efforts such as "Make in India. "The system study highlights the existing holes in present systems, emphasizing the necessity for a complete platform tailored exclusively to the cottage sector. An architecture diagram and extensive use case overviews for customers, producers, and administrators are included in the system design. Implementation specifics include login, identity, purchasing, and administrative operations, among others. The initiative aims to promote not just economic activity in the cottage industry, but also social issues like as empowering women and inclusive employment. The dedication to ongoing development is obvious in the plans for the future, which include tightening security measures, notably for online financial transactions. Finally, the social web application aspires to build a dynamic and safe digital area for artisans, producers, and customers, therefore leaving a lasting impression on the cottage industry in the age of technology. The chatbot is implemented using the rasa open-source framework along with the digital platform. The results of the chatbot are discussed in detail in the results and discussion section. © 2024 IEEE.
