In this paper, the stability problem of the steam valve control in a multi-machine power system is addressed by means of backstepping with direct fuzzy method. A controller is designed by using direct fuzzy backstepping method for uncertain parameters and external disturbance in the system. In the design process, the non-linear characteristics are kept without any linearization used here. The bounded stability of the whole system is guaranteed by Lyapunov theory. Finally, the simulation results prove the effectiveness of the controller.

Using Cluster-based routing algorithm to prolong wireless sensor network's lifetime is an important research topics. In this paper we proposed a novel clustering algorithm named PLEACH, which selects cluster head more evenly. First, it calculates the optimal cluster numbers according to a new strategy. Then it uses improved PSO algorithm to choose the most suitable cluster head in the next round selecting in accordance with the residual energy of nodes and the distance between the nodes. Simulation results prove PLEACH performs better than LEACH in lifetime.

In this paper, a neural-network decoupled sliding-mode control (NndSMC) scheme is proposed for inverted pendulum system with unknown input saturation. The input saturation is approximated by a smooth affine function according to the mean-value theorem. By decoupling the whole inverted pendulum system into two second-order subsystems, two sliding manifolds are designed for each subsystem, in which the first sliding manifold includes an intermediate variable related to the second one. Finally, a nonsingular terminal sliding-mode control is employed for both subsystems by using a simple sigmoid neural network to approximate the unknown system nonlinearity. Simulations show the effectiveness of the presented method.

According to such problems as acquisition terminal and smart meter's real-time deviation is large which has lead to TOU power price and ladder power price policy difficult to successfully implement in electricity information acquisition system, this paper has applied GPS clock synchronization technology and PTP clock synchronization technology in electricity information acquisition system's simulation platform. It has proposed a microsecond accuracy clock synchronization methods to ensure acquisition terminal and smart meter's clock is accurate, reliable and unity based on master station, acquisition terminals and smart meter's three-tiered clock synchronization mechanism.
