Single or small batch insulation cup was analyzed and improved based on reverse design and rapid prototyping technology. According to the structural characteristics of the selected insulation cup, the digital information of the model was accessed by hand-held laser scanner. Combined with the idea of reverse design, the sample space surface and entity model were reconstructed based on Imageware and Creo software. The sample entity model was reconstructed accurately by rapid prototyping technology. The comprehensive application of reverse design and rapid prototyping technology can improve the iterative efficiency of single or small batch cup, which has a good reference value for the development of single or small batch product.

This paper describes the development of the additive PolyJet technology aimed at designing and fabricating the samples of acoustic metamaterials with high sound absorption. The samples in the form of cellular thin-walled periodic structures with links between the cells are synthesized by photopolymer material using the additive technology. The peculiarities of the synthesized process are studied and optimal parameters are found to provide the required shape of the samples. The results of experimental study of sound absorption efficiency of the synthesized samples are also presented that demonstrate rather high sound absorption efficiency. (C) 2016 The Authors. To understand the corrosion behavior of L80 steel in different temperature and sulfur content, the experiment which simulated the downhole corrosive environment was conducted. From the experiment result, when other factors were constant, the lowest corrosion rate was appeared when the temperature was 90 degrees C. The influence of sulfur was complex. When temperature was low, the corrosion rate was decreased with the increase of sulfur content and the experimental result was opposite when temperature was high.

With the booming of mobile technologies and Internet connection nowadays, the mobile applications are become more popular. Unlike Malaysia, mobile learning technology still not widely used in the education system as compare to developing countries where they had emerged into mobile learning technology in school. Hence, the main objective of this project is to encourage and support the process of learning Chinese language among young children who use Chinese as their second language at their own pace anytime anywhere by develop mobile learning application. The application will include learning, exercise and also performance evaluation of the learners in interactive way. Thus, they will expose to the mobile technology learning at the early age with interesting play and learn application that will give excitement in learning the language.
