Feeds are user-generated contents or actions i online social network(OSN). Users generate feeds for sel expression and view feeds generated by friends. In this paper, w try toanalyze activities of users in one OSN by exploring tw aspects:whether users are becoming inactive in generating feed and how these inactive users affect the feeds received by othe users and thus cause collapse of the whole social network. W study the life cycle and feed inter-event time of users in community of RenR en, and find that more and more users ar decreasing the activity in generating feeds and as a resultit cause the decrease of velocity and diversity of feeds received by user Our simulation shows when 30% of users become inactive i generating feeds, the whole community will be affected an collapse in a short time.

We introduce a novel method for the consolidation of unorganized point clouds with noise,outliers,non-uniformities as well as sharp *** method is feature preserving,in the sense that given an initial estimation of normal,it is able to recover the sharp features contained in the original geometric data which are usually contaminated during the acquisition. The key ingredient of our approach is a weighting term from normal space as an effective complement to the recently proposed consolidation ***,a normal mollification step is employed during the consolidation to get normal information respecting sharp features besides the position of each point. Experiments on both synthetic and real-world scanned models validate the ability of our approach in producing denoised, evenly distributed and feature preserving point clouds,which are preferred by most surface reconstruction methods.

Accurate on-line measurement of ball mill load(ML) affects production capacity and energy efficiency of the grinding *** on-line soft sensor method based on recursive principal component analysis(RPCA) and on -line least square support vector regression(LSSVR) was proposed in this paper. At first,spectral principal components(PCs) at low,medium and high frequency bands of the vibration spectrum were extracted through ***,the extracted feature variables were used to construct LSSVR *** last,when a new sample was given, the older PCA-LSSVR model was updated by RPCA and online-LSSVR algorithm ***,the innovate integration of the RPCA and online LSSVR makes the online soft sensor for ML parameters soft sensor practical.A case study shows that the proposed approach has higher accuracy and better predictive performance than the other normal approaches.

The technology of vehicle videodetecting and tracking has been playing an important role in the ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems) field during recent years. The occlusion phenomenon among vehicles is one of the most difficult problems related tovehicle tracking. In order tohandle occlusion, this paper proposes an effective solution that applied Markov Random Field(MRF) tothe traffic images. The contour of the vehicle is firstly detected by using background subtraction, then numbers of blocks with vehicle's texture and motion information are filled inside each vehicle. We extract several kinds of information of each block toprocess the following tracking. As for each occlusive block, twogroups of clique functions in MRF model are defined, which represents spatial correlation and motion coherence respectively. By calculating each occlusive block's total energy function, we finally solve the attribution problem of occlusive blocks. The experimental results show that our method can handle occlusion problems effectively and track each vehicle continuously.

The structure of knowledge graph is basically flat and lack of hierarchies to make knowledge graph too general to deal with concrete reasoning problems. There are few work about hierarchical knowledge graph. In this paper, the entity and relation combined method is proposed to divide the entities into groups based on structure similarity. The hierarchical cluster method is proposed with the entity and relation combined embedding representation to construct a multi-granular knowledge graph. The experimental results show that the hierarchical division relied on combined embedding are significantly better than those based on the existing entity embedding methods in three evaluation indexes. The combined embedding can capture the structure information which is helpful to hierarchical knowledge graph accurately and reasonably.

This paper is concerned with a novel chaos control approach for discrete chaotic systems with rational *** artificial bee colony(ABC) algorithm is newly introduced to solve this problem in a non-Lyapunov *** approach realize the following three steps by ABC:detecting chaos system's dynamical behaviors such as extreme values and unstable periodic points;directing the system to its unstable fix point from any initial point by global controlling factors;stabilizing the system on its unstable fix point with a multi-model *** details of applying the proposed method are given and the illustrative experiments done to a discrete chaos system with rational fraction show the proposed strategy is effective and robust.

This paper is built upon prior research on enterprise knowledge sharing. Our objective is toexplore the role of affect among knowledge workers on adoption of knowledge sharing tools(KST). We examine twodifferent constructs:positive affect and negative affect and their relationships. These affective constructs will be added intoTAM(Technology Adoption Model) developed by Davis. Positive affect like joy, happiness, contentment, interest and enthusiasm have been largely neglected in both basic and applied disciplines that deal with affect. A lot of researchers pay attention tostudy on negative affect;this is because positive affect poses more difficulties in information systems research. Hence a lot of models on affect that were developed neglected the role of positive affectin these studies. As more research works focus on different states of affect by Information Systems researchers, this provides us with strong basis tojustify and rationalize the need toconsider states of affectin our research works. This study uses survey toconduct an empirical investigation. Our instruments are designed based on the Technology Affect Scale developed by Perlusz [23]. The data collected will be analyzed toensure internal consistency and reliability of variables is achieved. This research study was among the first touse Technology Acceptance model embedding the role of affectin the context of enterprise knowledge sharing using knowledge tools.

In hull construction, manually identifying and assessing pre-welding defects is a challenging and time-consuming task, with potential defects posing significant safety risks. Fortunately, with the advancement of deep learning, convolutional neural network (CNN)-based recognition models have been successfully applied to computer vision tasks. However, due to the diversity of interfering factors in pre-welding defect images, current models struggle to capture critical defect features. When using attention mechanisms to address this issue, attention shifts can occur, leading to lower model recognition accuracy. To address the issue of attention shift, this paper proposes a Dual-Branch Attention Enhancement module (DBAE). This module extends traditional attention mechanisms by introducing an additional branch focused on enhancing defect features, guiding the attention towards these critical features, and improving feature extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that the DBAE module has superior feature capture capabilities compared to other classic attention modules, with the most significant improvement reaching 7.25 %, consistently outperforming other attention mechanisms. Furthermore, the results confirm that DBAE is effective across various classic classification networks, exhibiting good generalizability.

Urban DEM(Digital elevation model) is widely used in many aspects of socialization applications,such as spatial analysis of GIS,urban planning management,visualization analysis of urban landscape,analysis of terrain visibility etc.,for it can properly express the 3-dimentsional structures of modern ***,a robust,simple and accurate method for Urban DEM generation is *** analysis has an important role in many fields of scientific research and practical applications;and much work has done in the 2-dimensional topographic *** it hasn't done much in 3-dimensional GIS analysis *** aim of this paper is twofold:how to build up the Urban DEM and how to implement the 3D visibility analysis based on Urban *** this paper we convert 1:500 scale CAD form terrain data to vector graphics,and then fusion with DEM to produce 5m resolution Urban DEM,which represents the older section of *** experiments results suggest the feasibility and validity of the 3D visibility analysis based on Urban DEM.

According to the characteristics of digital design process of mechanical products and the characteristics of knowledge reuse during them,the generic technology of the design knowledge management was *** digital design tasks are classified into two basic types in the approach: structure design and parametric *** relations between the design task and its linkage knowledge(design cases,design rules,design criteria,and handbooks) are represented in the ontology *** finding the linkage knowledge according to the current scenario of design phase,the relevant knowledge items would thus be effectively located and retrieved.A case of the digital design process of a thread rolling board illustrates the proposed approach.
