This paper proposes a multi-channel linear prediction (MCLP) speech dereverberation algorithm based on QR-decomposition recursive least squares (QR-RLS) adaptive filter, which can avoid the possible instability caused by the RLS algorithm, and achieve same speech dereverberation performance as the prototype MCLP dereverberation algorithm based on RLS. This can be confirmed by the theoretical derivation and experiments. Thus, the proposed algorithm can be a good alternative for practical speech applications. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.

In addition to the steady background noise, there are many nonstationary harmonic noises in the speech under the influence of fan noise, which has the characteristics of mutation and *** of the existing speech enhancement algorithms can suppress the noise very well. In order to remove the nonstationary harmonic noise in the environment, improve the signal to noise ratio, and reduce the distortion of the speech after denoising, this paper proposes a new speech enhancement algorithm:1.A new threshold decision method is designed to achieve the effect of de harmonic. 2. Eliminating sudden noise of environment by noise estimation method. Experiments show that this algorithm not only improves the noise suppression ability in the non-speech zone, but also the denoising effect is better than traditional speech enhancement algorithm. In this paper, we present an integrated fiber and visible light communication (VLC) system with both single and multimode fibers. Before establishing the fiber-VLC link, we implement a fiber link alone and achieve least BER for a particular length of the fiber. This fiber length is taken as an optimum performing link. The main performance measure utilized in this paper is the Bit Error Rate (BER). Optimum performance is achieved at the point of minimum BER. For an optimum performing fiber-VLC link, the dispersion is analyzed and the compensation of chromatic dispersion is done using ideal dispersion compensation Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG). Utilizing the Gray coded input sequence instead of direct binary sequence reduces the BER, since adjacent constellation points will only differ in one bit. The BER results for 16 QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and 64 QAM using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are compared for both single mode fiber and multimode fiber links. The simulation results show that for Single Mode Fiber-VLC (SMF-VLC) link the dispersion compensation is better when compared to the Multi Mode Fiber-VLC (MMF-VLC) link. © 2018 IEEE.

This paper presents a full duplex and reconfigurable pattern system antenna design for 5G wireless communications systems. The proposed system is a MIMO 2 × 2 antenna operating at the central frequency 2.622 GHz of the LTE2500 band. A quadrature 3 dB coupler is used to achieve configurability. The proposed coupler allows also to have a high isolation of 58 dB needed for Full Duplex communication. Four patterns configurations are obtained with four combinations. The proposed antenna has 65 MHz bandwidth, 80% efficiency and achieve 4.18 dB of gain. © 2018 IEEE.

A miniaturized ultra-wideband printed antenna working at C/X/Ku/K/Ka band is presented in this article. The hexagon-shaped radiator with a semi-elliptical ground plane is designed as a feed antenna. The size of the antenna is 32 × 32× 1.47 mm3 or 0.32 λ0× 0.32λ0× 0.0147λ0, where λ0 is the wavelength at 3 GHz in the free space. The proposed antenna is fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW). The impedance bandwidth and fractional bandwidth are 26.2 GHz and 161.4%, respectively. The antenna operates from 3.13-29.33 GHz. The peak gain is 6.64 dBi and the radiation patterns are approximately omnidirectional in H-plane in the whole operating frequency band. © 2020 IEEE.

Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters are mainly used in the Digital signal processing (DSP) applications. The main reason behind implementing FIR filters is because of its high speed and low power requirements. The main complexity of designing FIR filter lies in the multiplier block. There are many techniques by using add and shift operations exclusively through which we can actually design the multiplier block thus reducing the complex structure of multiplier and these type of designs are called multiplier-less. A New Multiple Constant Multiplication algorithm (MCM) called Radix-2rhas merit over existing algorithms for being fully predictable, sub linear, high speed and low power solutions. This paper presents the designing of an FIR filter using radix-2rrecoding technique with 'r=5' and a unique Lookup Table for it and also being implemented further. The proposed design gives the better results compared to normal design in terms of adder-cost, adder depth resource utilization and corresponding trade-off occurs between delay resource utilization. © 2018 IEEE.

In this paper, a compact microstrip duplexer with relatively close channels is proposed. The ring resonator and the orthogonal-feed are directly connected to form a band elimination filter. The band elimination filter is loaded with branches to realize the band-pass filter. The design of the duplexer in the article composed of two such band-pass filters. The design method of the duplexer is introduced in detail, and verified by the experimental results of the manufactured duplexer. The central frequency of the bandpass channels is 1.45Ghz and 1.75Ghz respectively. The measurement results show that the two channels of the duplexers are close to each other, with low insertion loss and high out-of-band rejection, which are in good agreement with the simulation results. © 2020 IEEE.
