Vehicular cloud computing (VCC) is one of the prominent fields of research, which combines both vehicular ad hoc network and cloud computing. In VCC, the vehicles are acting like virtual machine hosts to process the tasks that are given by the roadside units (RSUs). The vehicles and RSUs coordinate each other to share several information. Further, the RSUs are connected to the cloud through the Internet. As the vehicles under consideration are not residing in the same area or street or zone or grid, the problem of managing virtual machine hosts is very much challenging to process the tasks. In this paper, we introduce virtual machine management algorithm for vehicular clouds. Moreover, we present three variants of the proposed algorithm, namely first fit strategy, best fit strategy and worst fit strategy, respectively. The performance of these variants is evaluated by means of three performance metrics through simulation runs with a wide variety of vehicles, vehicle speeds, length of the grids and data sizes. The result of these variants is extensively compared. The comparison results show the superiority of the best fit strategy among all the variants of the proposed algorithm.

Aiming at the information overload and driving safety problems existing in VANET, this paper proposes a multidimension context-based service recommendation algorithm in VANET based on the recommended middleware architecture of VANET service. The middleware architecture not only shields the heterogeneity of the underlying devices, but also quickly captures the vehicle's rich real-time contextual information. The algorithm belongs to the content-based recommendation category. Firstly, the service station is filtered according to the context information, and the optional service station is selected. Secondly, the user preference model is calculated according to the user history service record. Then, the similarity between the service provided by the service station and the user preference model is calculated. Finally, the recommendation coefficient is calculated and sorted according to the recommendation coefficient, and the service that meets the personalized requirement is recommended for the user. In this paper, the Yelp real data set is used to simulate the algorithm. The simulation results show that the recommended results of the algorithm are more in line with the user's individual needs, and the accuracy of the recommendation results is improved, and the bypass probability caused by the service is reduced.

The algorithms is one of important thing at mobile robot path planning. It's commonly used to solve a problem in path planning, especially when the environtment is so complexity, where the object can be move dynamically (target or obstacle). The path's must be collision-free (safe path), the shortest-path, and the time required by the robot to reached distination (best time). The ACO (ant colony optimization) is one of algorithm can be used to get a shortest-path in path planning algorithm, ACO have renewal processes (pheromone updating) to optimize result (search process), and it's used in this research for searching process. The pattern of target movement in this research with liniers and sinusoidals motion pattern and simulation use Netlogo 5.3.1 simulator software can be done, an agent-based free application developed by Uri Wilensky at the Center for Connected Learning and Computed-based modeling at Northwestern University. In this research using two different renewal process (4 grids and 8 grids) for upgrading process araound the best patch, where is the 8 grids is more suitable for use at complex environtments with large number of obstacles especially in terms of time required algorithm to finding a shortest path.

In order to realize rapid processing and accurate interpretation of big data, and to achieve reasonable scheduling and application of cloud computing resources, this paper proposes an integrated artificial intelligence processing and analysis model, combining Map-Reduce and the improved ant colony algorithm based on PSO. Firstly, it uses Map-Reduce to divide cloud computing tasks into several subtasks in a parallel way, and optimizes and reorganizes computing resources. Secondly, it employs PSO to help ant colony optimization get rid of local optimal solutions, thus improving ant colony optimization and obtaining the global optimal solution. Finally, it adopts this model to complete the fast processing and accurate interpretation of big data. Through the experimental simulation results, this integrated innovation model not only reduces the time needed by big data processing, but also improves the precision of big data artificial intelligence analysis.

In this paper, modeling and dynamic analysis and robust control of a Ballbot Robot are examined. Because these robots are under actuated, their control is more challenging than their counterparts, such as humanoid and Segway robots development of control theories for these robots is less taken into consideration and issues such as robust stability analysis less attention has been. One of the most significant issues in these robots is how to apply force to the ball. The omnidirectional wheels used in Ballbot have only one point of contact with the ball and practically limits the amount of force applied. To resolve this issue, students of Amirkabir University of Technology have designed a new omnidirectional wheel that increases the surface of the contact points of the ball and has caused more force on the ball before sliding and has improved the performance of the robot. For this reason, in this paper, taking into account the parametric uncertainty in dynamics, robust control algorithm is suggested. In addition, in order to show the performance of this controller, a PID controller is utilized to make a comparison. In the following, a robust stability analysis of linearization of the proposed control algorithm is undertaken based on Lyapunov's theory and it is shown the closed loop system is robust with suitable selection of gains. In the end, by presenting the simulation results obtained from the applying of the proposed control algorithm on a Ballbot Robot, the performance of the proposed control algorithm is evaluated.

A realization method of semi-physical real-time simulation platform for mobile robot based on Quanser system is proposed in this paper. The robotic physical system is built by using the Quanser/IMDU module, the Matlab/Simulink and Quanser/Qua RC components are adopt to implement simulation system modeling and auto-matic generation of real-time control software. The Quanser/Q8 acquisition card is used as a communication medium for feedback data acquisition and real-time control of physical objects, so as to realize closed loop control of semi-physical simulation system. The platform can be used for fast verification of the complex control algorithm of mobile robot, and the effectiveness of the method is verified by the trajectory tracking control experiment of the semi-physical simulation system.

The tendering and evaluation of water conservancy projects is an important part of China's infrastructure construction, and the evaluation of bids is also a key link in the construction of water conservancy projects. In view of the problems in the bid evaluation process for project of water conservancy and hydropower in a certain province, the proportion of subjective elements is large, the proportion of bid evaluation factors is not fixed, the randomness is large, and the external obstacle factors are large. This paper proposes the use of network analysis in the bid evaluation process. The method(ANP) considers the mutual influence and dependence of each index, and establishes a multi-index comprehensive scoring criteria model for the nonlinear combination of indexes. Based on the model establishment process, the algorithm of ANP evaluation model was implemented using C# and applied to the bid evaluation process, which made the evaluation process more scientific and rational.

In realistic environments, fully specifying a task model such that a robot can perform a task in all situations is impractical. In this work, we present Incremental Task Modification via Corrective Demonstrations (ITMCD), a novel algorithm that allows a robot to update a learned model by making use of corrective demonstrations from an end-user in its environment. We propose three different types of model updates that make structural changes to a finite state automaton (FSA) representation of the task by first converting the FSA into a state transition auto-regressive hidden Markov model (STARHMM). The STARHMM's probabilistic properties are then used to perform approximate Bayesian model selection to choose the best model update, if any. We evaluate ITMCD Model Selection in a simulated block sorting domain and the full algorithm on a real-world pouring task. The simulation results show our approach can choose new task models that sufficiently incorporate new demonstrations while remaining as simple as possible. The results from the pouring task show that ITMCD performs well when the modeled segments of the corrective demonstrations closely comply with the original task model.

Online Social networks (OSNs) are now one of the main resources for people to keep abreast of current news and to exchange opinions about new products and social trends, etc. However, unethical use of OSNs also provides a convenient conduit to the diffusion of malicious rumors and misinformation, thus it is of significant importance to discover rumor diffusion and detect the rumor source. This is a very challenging task, as shown in many existing works, e.g., even in the regular tree graphs, the accuracy of detecting the information source from a diffusion snapshot cannot exceed 31%. To overcome this issue, in this work, we propose a novel system framework for information source detection in OSNs and investigate a new rumor source detection problem, called k-Minimum Distance Rumor Source Detection (k-MDRSD). Specifically, given a rumor spreading snapshot, our target is to find a small set of rumor candidates which can be used as initial seeds for further iterative query or investigation. To this end, we introduce a notion, called distance error, for rumor candidate sets and formulate the k-MDRSD problem. Resorting to methods from Combinatorics, we develop a near optimal algorithm for k-MDRSD. By experimental simulation, we show that the proposed k-MDRSD significantly improves the likelihood of detecting rumor sources or trend-setters in OSNs.

Subclass of MANETs is the VANETs (Vehicular Adhoc Networks) which leads to the provision of remote communication among vehicles and the roadside equipment. A lot of researches are going on VANETs in the recent years. Both the commercial and industry consists of VANETS applications. Deployment of VANET architecture will lead to the provision of several services but due to less scalability, flexibility and poor conductivity several challenges have been faced in both the deployment and management of VANET architecture. Introduction to the new emerging technologies such as fog computing, 5G services and software-defined networking have solved several issues faced in VANETs thereby enhancing its capabilities. In VANETs there is a frequent change in the topology as well as the communication channels are unstable due to the rapid movement of vehicular nodes. Hence, efficiency is one of the major requirements. Motivated by the several challenges described above we proposed an energy-saving routing algorithm which uses various technologies such as Software-defined networking, 5G services and fog computing. The proposed algorithm saves the amount of energy consumed as well as satisfy the all the network traffic demand. Security is another principle objective which is to be satisfied. Due to the exchange of several information among the vehicles, security have become a major challenge. We have implemented the RSA encryption in our proposed model to securely transmit the data. Various simulation-based experiments are conducted to prove the efficiency of the proposed model.
