A well-known complex of methods for converting signals into binary digital form is shown, potential theoretically achievable boundaries of such conversions are determined. Values are calculated that indicate the value of the code distance between the original values and those obtained after transformation. Euclidean space metric. A correspondence is established between these messages and binary code combinations in the Hamming space. It is proved that in some cases the values that determine the distance between messages and the metric are quite general and should be clarified for specific situations. Distortion minimization is suitable for cases where the minimum code distances of the primary metric space are related to the minimum code distances of the secondary metric space. And also in the article the admissible limits of such minimization are found. © 2021 IEEE.

A variant of multi-station access based on Spread Spectrum signals (SSS) with multiphase non-harmonic subcarriers modulated using pseudorandom sequences (PRSs) that provide a direct extension of their spectrum is considered. It is shown that in this case partial frequency-code compaction of signals is provided. In this case, the main PRS provides a direct expansion of the signal spectrum, and the sub-carrier PRS-on the contrary, its narrowing and localization in the frequency domain. The paper considers a variant of channel information encoding when increasing the distance between the points of the information signal constellation when transmitting its closest points on different subcarriers of the PRS, which allows increasing the bandwidth of the communication channel. In addition, the narrowing of the main correlation peak of the synchro-signal, compared with the case of transmission only to the main PRS (without a subcarrier), will improve the accuracy of synchronization and positioning. © 2021 IEEE.

Fiber-optic communication lines are the basis of telecommunication networks. If at the initial stage of the development of optical communication FOCLs were laid only on transport networks, then as this type of communication develops, there is a transition to fiber-optic technology in intra-facility, including on-board systems. Today, the demand for traffic transmission is constantly growing, which leads to an increase in the amount and speed of transmitted information. Fiber outages result in poor communications, disrupt business processes, backorders, and dissatisfied customers. Even small communication downtime causes huge losses. The introduction of service quality categories will simplify the operation of transport systems and increase the economic efficiency of communication networks. However, this requires significant capital expenditures and annual operating costs, which do not always pay off by avoiding fiber downtime. A method for assessing the effectiveness of the use of a service level agreement (SLA) between an operator of a fiber-optic communication line (FOCL) and consumers of communication services is proposed. The net present value (NPV) is used as an indicator of efficiency;probabilistic characteristics are introduced. The calculation results and their brief analysis are presented. © 2021 IEEE.

The paper deals with the problem of landing a helicopter on a moving platform in difficult weather conditions. The article presents a study of the possibility of automatic determination of coordinates, using antennas located on the blades of a helicopter propeller, relative to the landing site where the radio signal sources are located. This arrangement of the antennas when moving in space allows you to measure the distance to the source of the radio signal due to the Doppler shift of the signal frequency. The implementation of such a system can make it possible to solve the most complex aviation tasks to ensure navigation during takeoff/landing in difficult weather conditions, as well as during search and rescue operations. Such a technical solution allows you to get the direction of the radiation source of the radio signal, as well as the range to it with high accuracy. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper investigates the effectiveness of the blind signal separation algorithm in the problem of detecting digital BPSK signals. The classical methods of blind separation of signals and criteria for signal independence are considered. A model of the studied algorithm for blind signal separation is shown, based on the calculation of a mixing matrix that brings the joint cumulants of the second and fourth orders to zero. To exclude a trivial solution, additional restrictions are imposed on signal dispersions. A system of equations for finding the mixing matrix coefficients is presented. The form of the coefficients of the mixing matrix is shown, which brings the signals to an uncorrelated form. The possibility of an analytical solution of the equation associated with the equality of the joint fourth-order cumulant to zero is shown. A model of modulation and detection of digital signals is described. The simulation result of the blind signal separation algorithm is presented graphically. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is shown. © 2021 IEEE.

The core idea of this paper is detection of lengthened objects by the radar signal. The methodological base of the exploration is statistical processing of the reflected signal. The lengthened objects are those objects of underlying surface, which could be presented by straight line. It is assumed that the radar is mounted on the unmanned airborne vehicle and this detection system is oriented to help navigation system to detect vehicle's position. This idea was presented in previous papers, but this exact paper is concentrated on the practical aspect of algorithm application, i.e. problems of histograms approximation parameters for the reflected signal, method of histogram approximation and etc. The estimation of the corresponding parameters allows us to increase the accuracy of the designed algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.

Frequency plan of the new standard of mobile communication systems 5G New Radio contain a large number of time division duplex bands. At the same time number of antennas in MIMO systems increases at the both sides on base station and on user equipment. The main goal of new technologies applying is to achieve high throughput according new enhanced mobile broadband scenarios: eMBB, uRLLC, mMTC. There are a lot of different methods for spatially signals processing, including precoding, beamforming, space-time codes, antenna selection. We proposed combined precoding technique with antenna selection, based on channel reciprocity principle, implemented in frequency bands with TDD mode. Proposed precoding technique with antenna selection can significantly increase the energy efficiency of multi-antenna systems with antenna configurations of the considered type, where user equipment has a large number of antennas. In addition, the proposed precoding algorithm has a low computational complexity and does not require the high efficiency feedback channel. © 2021 IEEE.

The auxiliary braking systems of vehicles of category M1, installed from the factory and affecting deceleration, are considered. Comparison of the results of steady-state deceleration on dry asphalt concrete pavement at an air temperature of +17 ± 0,5°C will be carried out. For further experimental studies, factors and systems will be identified. Studies have shown that auxiliary systems affect the stability of deceleration and its magnitude. Comparison of vehicle deceleration with different blocks of auxiliary systems is made. The influence of developing auxiliary systems allows for a shorter braking distance, improved braking stability and an increased deceleration value. Article focuses at research Bit Error Rate (BER) for Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) infocommunication system with Power-Domain Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (PD-NOMA) for two user equipments. Developed imitation model in MATLAB/Simulink environment with Symbol Level - Successive Interference Cancellation (SL-SIC) is presented. Simulation parameters are equivalent of downlink 5G New Radio (5G NR) standard by 3GPP for second numerology with Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) with order M = 16, 64, 256 on subcarriers. Presented dependencies BER from Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) for different levels mean power of signals on subcarriers for Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. All presented results received for sample size providing confidence level no lower 90% and relative accuracy no more 10%. © 2021 IEEE.
