The growing popularity and use of the wireless Internet of Things and cyber-physical systems increase the demand for "green"technologies in the field of mobile telecommunications. To be completely wireless, such devices need an integrated RF energy harvesting system that ensures efficient recharging of the batteries and accumulators used in them. This article provides an assessment of the coverage areas of mobile operators in Moscow and the Moscow region by the frequency ranges used, taking into account the power distribution. An experimental study of the RF-field strength of telecommunication equipment was carried out using a log periodic antenna (KM6-600/6000) with linear polarization and a portable spectrum analyzer with an Arinst SSA-TG R2 tracking generator. The results of attenuation of electromagnetic waves of GSM and Wi-Fi bands under various environmental conditions are obtained, which is of interest for the development of effective intelligent harvesting systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The influence of multiplicative noise on the directional patterns of phased and synthesized antenna arrays is analyzed. Multiplicative noise is regarded as a source of fast phase and amplitude distortion of signals received or radiated by the antenna. It is shown that multiplicative noise changes the multiplier of the array. Expressions of the directional pattern of the phased array exposed to multiplicative noise are obtained, taking into account the aperture distribution of phasing errors, as well as a generalized directional pattern of the array with phase shifters. The features of arrays with delay lines are described, and an expression for determining the directional pattern of such arrays is obtained. The features of synthesized antenna arrays are considered. The directional pattern of a focused antenna array under the influence of multiplicative noise is analyzed. Expressions for the directional pattern are obtained taking into account the time of the relative delay of signal reception relative to the central element of the array. It is shown that the obtained expressions for the phased antenna array and the array with phase shifters are also valid for synthesized antenna arrays. © 2023 IEEE.

The article is devoted to improving the quality of management of an educational organization by automating personalized data collection, storage and ranking in the preparation of specialists in the on-board communication systems. The authors have developed a module of the university's corporate system - an electronic portfolio of students, which implements a multi-criteria optimization method for calculating students' ratings based on the collected and stored data. The object of the study is multicriteria ranking methods. The subject of the research is the automated calculation of the student rating in the electronic portfolio. The aim of the study is to develop tools for collecting, storing and processing data on individual student achievements and the implementation of a mathematical method of multicriteria optimization for ranking students based on portfolio data. The practical significance of the study is to provide a tool for effective management of the learning process. Method and toolkit. A prototype of the module of the corporate system of the university 'Electronic Portfolio' based on the developed configuration in '1C: Enterprise 8.3' is presented. For the ranking of students in the module for data analysis, a special case of the method of ranking alternatives is implemented - pairwise comparison according to their relative importance, using a unified scale of relations. Results. The authors described the scheme of functioning of is 'Electronic portfolio', showed the scheme of interaction of processes on formation of portfolio, presented the scheme of business processes at calculation of an individual rating. A fragment of the sample on which the performance of the multi-criteria optimization block was checked is shown. The criteria taking part in calculations and the rule of selection of alternatives for finding the optimal solution are de-scribed. Discussion and Conclusion. A high performance algorithm is proposed to provide efficient separation of transmission paths in single carrier duplex satellite systems. The algorithm is based on direct estimation of Wiener-Hopf equation solution on each iteration in real-time. Several approximations and fast calculation techniques are implemented to reduce computational complexity of the algorithm proposed. In particular, the algorithm uses predefined autocorrelation matrix, fast procedure of cross-correlation vector calculation and fast procedure of Toeplitz matrix multiplication by vector. The approximation of cross-correlation vectors array is also implemented. Algorithm efficiency is been studied on simplified model of earth stations and satellite. The study results demonstrate that the algorithm provides echo interference suppression more than 40 dB in typical for bandwidth optimization techniques conditions and allows to use QAM modulation with 256 levels. The proposed algorithm was compared for robustness with other commonly used adaptive filtering algorithms, such as: conventional RLS, QR-decomposition RLS, Householder RLS, NLMS, frequency domain LMS and affine projection algorithm. In considered application, the proposed algorithm outperforms other algorithms in terms of echo interference suppression. © 2020 IEEE.

despite the widespread development of satellite mobile communications, radio communications in the high frequency range (3 - 30 MHz) retains its position when it is necessary to ensure over-the-horizon data transmission with low delays. The transmission speed of samples from the world's leading manufacturers reaches 120 kbit/s with a used radio channel width of 24 kHz. Manpack radios place high demands on weight and size characteristics, which are largely determined by the efficiency of the most energy-intensive unit - the power amplifier (PA). The article analyzes ways to increase the PA efficiency taking into account the features of modern telecommunication signals that use amplitude-phase modulation and have a large crest factor. Based on a preliminary analysis of a wide range of directions for increasing the radio frequency amplifiers efficiency, the most promising options for the problem under consideration are selected: a power amplifier with envelope elimination and restoration (EER) and an amplifier using the outphasing method. To date, the theoretical issues of constructing the EER PA and the prospects for its practical implementation have been better developed. At the same time, the potential capabilities of a transmitter built using the outphasing method are higher than those of the EER PA, since it does not have an inertial low-frequency envelope path, which reduces both energy performance and limits the possibility of improving quality characteristics. A conclusion is made about the advisability of further research, modeling, prototyping and testing of the transmitter using the outphasing method. ©2024 IEEE.

In digital transmission lines with quadrature amplitude modulation of signals the information is contained in the change in the amplitude and phase transmission of the signal. Therefore, in comparison with other types of modulation, there are more stringent requirements for the level of phase noise of the signal at the input of the QAM-signal demodulator, leading to a decrease in the reliability of reception. This article will consider the requirements for short-term frequency stability of synthesizers of transmission lines, which use signals of multi-position quadrature-amplitude modulation in conjunction with quasi-coherent reception of these signals. The carrier is extracted on the receiving side directly from the received QAM-signal using a carrier recovery device by demodulating the received signal and then its subsequent narrow-band filtration. As a narrow-band tunable filter, an auto-tuning frequency switching system is used. With the improvement in the filtering quality of the demodulated signal, the phase fluctuations of the restored carrier associated with the action of additive noise are reduced, the energy losses of the applied quasi-coherent reception are reduced in comparison with the ideal one, which requires the complete absence of the phase error of the selected reference signal. The approximation of the noise immunity of real coherent QAM-signal demodulators to the theoretical one limits the phase noise of the signal at the input of the demodulator associated with the imperfection of the frequency synthesizers on the transmitting and receiving sides of digital communication lines. © 2023 IEEE.

The study considers the possibility of using optical cables in remote control systems operated in underwater conditions. The operability of the optical microcable design to a hydrostatic pressure of 10 MPa has been confirmed. In order to determine the possibility of using optical microcables in seawater, they were exposed to salt solution simulating concentrated seawater of several versions of microcables. Graphs of the dependence of the attenuation coefficient on the exposure time in water with a salinity of 380‰ are given for all types of the studied samples. Using a microscope, the appearance of the outer coating of optical microcables and the quartz surface of the light guide after prolonged exposure to salt solution was examined. Thermogravimetric analysis and thermomechanical analysis of the studied samples are *** frequency of forced Mandelstamm-Brillouin scattering (Brillouin frequency) in optical fibers of microcables was monitored. The results of the studies confirmed the possibility of using the developed microcables with dense protective coatings made of UV-cured acrylate in systems for remote control of underwater objects. © 2023 IEEE.

We have developed a methodology that allows to develop recommendations for choosing a place to start lane changing with the intention to make a turn at a crossroad and choosing the duration of traffic light phases, and these durations may vary depending on the time of day. This methodology could be made on the basis of field measurements and a mathematical model of the traffic flow on a section of a multi-lane highway. There are actual to use Smart Light in ITS to control traffic on crossroads and to optimize the choice of traffic light phase durations. The developed model allows to calculate the distribution of traffic intensities on a section of a multi-lane highway. To verify and calibrate the model the distribution of traffic intensities has been calculated for a section of Leningradsky prospect, Moscow. The results of these measurements were compared with data obtained in measurements on the section. The model is based on the deterministic-stochastic control for traffic modeling in accordance of that the traffic flow is represented as the sum of the deterministic and stochastic components. The deterministic component corresponds to the velocity of a lattice movement, and the stochastic component corresponds to the velocity of the average particle movement. Using the deterministic-stochastic approach, we can obtain more exact evaluations of traffic characteristics. © 2021 IEEE.

An analysis was carried out of the development of the testing system for unmanned aircraft systems, including those controlled through artificial intelligence technologies. It is shown that existing aviation testing technologies do not fully meet the requirements for testing unmanned aircraft systems. A list of technological features and requirements for testing unmanned aircraft systems is provided. A comparative assessment of the cost of testing unmanned aircraft systems using existing and innovative technologies intended for testing such systems is given. Using the developed computer model of a certification testing laboratory for unmanned aircraft systems, the optimal financial and functional indicators of such a laboratory were determined, ensuring the minimum cost of certification tests available to small and medium-sized businesses. ©2024 IEEE.

During the exponential increase in online video streaming services, the development of information concealment technologies directly depends on video encoding and is essential for video streaming companies. The structure of the video remains to contain areas invisible to humans and can be used to conceal prohibited content. Steganography is a science exploring various methods of hiding information in multimedia objects, which should remain undetectable both statistically and for human perception. A large variety of video content can be used as a container to conceal information from unauthorized viewers. To solve this problem, the current research focus is on finding areas, where information can be hidden, or, in other words, areas inaccessible to human perception. The conference work proposes a new method and hardware-software system for creating a new assessment of the information capacity of compressed video sequences for information security systems, which would allow providing recommendations for the protection and detection of prohibited information in the network. © 2023 IEEE.
