The scheme of monitoring objects of the street-road network using mobile road laboratories is described. Examples of the most successful domestic laboratories are given. The data flows and data exchange formats of the mobile complex of multi-criteria assessment of the operational condition of the objects of the road network "Automated Road Scanner"are considered. The dependencies for predicting the international roughness, wheel tracking, and traction coefficient index are given. An original technology for a comprehensive assessment of the transport and operational condition of street and road network objects based on modern high-tech equipment, which can be used for all types of inspections, is described. A reasonable conclusion is made that the use of the proposed technology has significantly reduced the cost of monitoring and the number of errors in the detection of pavement defects. The study justified the use of the pavement condition index to decide on the assessment of its condition: normal, satisfactory, unsatisfactory, or emergency. The conclusion outlines the prospects for the development of research toward the creation and use of specialized decision support systems, providing the accumulation and use of data and knowledge in the subject area. © 2023 IEEE.

The presented research analyzes the energy-based detection (ED) problem of a signal propagating in a wireless severely fading channel. To account for the worst-case propagation conditions, the newly presented for wireless communications Lomax channel model (exhibiting the hyper-Rayleigh conditions for all the possible parameters’ range) was used. The system performance was characterized by the average probability of detection, receiver operating characteristic (ROC), and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), that were studied as the functions of the system and the channel parameters (i.e., the sensing base, the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and the SNR probability distribution function scale parameter). The results of the numerical simulation were analyzed in comparison with the existing regulation implied by the 5G NR standard on the ED for medium access procedure. ©2024 IEEE.

The paper investigates non-recurrent algorithms for obtaining soft solutions for a four-position quadrature amplitude modulation (4-QAM) signal in conditions of estimating communication channel parameters with different accuracy in a communication system with multiple transmitting and receiving antennas (MIMO). The communication channel was modeled using the Jakes model, which takes into account Doppler spreading and Rayleigh fading of the signal. The additive noise was assumed to be white Gaussian. The channel matrix takes into account the distortions received by the signal in the direct conversion receiver path, such as amplitude and phase imbalance between signal quadratures, phase noise, frequency shift remaining after the demodulation procedure, and DC components. The noise immunity of the proposed regularizing procedures was compared with the known algorithms Zero Forsing, minimum mean square error (MSE) and a procedure based on the least squares method (LSM) for a MIMO system with a number of antennas of 8, 16, 32 and 64. The computational experiment showed that that a regularizing algorithm for finding soft solutions can provide an energy gain in noise immunity with inaccurately known parameters of the communication channel relative to other signal detection procedures considered in this work. ©2024 IEEE.

This article discusses the fundamental features of the application of the decision support system on the example of solving the problem of planning the process of managing technical systems of wireless access to Enterprise Infocommunication Network. The purpose of this article is to consider approaches to the automatic selection of the optimal technical solution for promising business and technological process management systems based on the methods of spectral analysis and analysis of hierarchies. The system analysis technique is developed and applied if the decision-maker does not have the necessary information about a certain situation, allowing it to formalize and find a solution to the problem. Decision-making in management activities is based on a specific type of intellectual activity - information and analytical activities, as a set of activities for the search, collection, processing of information, its assessment, analysis and forecasting of the state of the control object. The importance of information and analytical activities in modern conditions is sharply increasing due to the following reasons: a sharp increase in the volume of information processed in the course of decision-making on management;the difficulty of identifying and establishing cause-and-effect relationships in information about the existing area of management;the complexity of process automation in advanced business and technological process management systems. This necessitates the creation within the framework of a promising automated control system of its specific part - a decision support system. Increasing truck loads, expanding transportation processes, and expanding intermodal transportation are exacerbating the impact on road surfaces. Organizations involved in cargo transportation are faced with the need to find effective solutions to optimize processes and select transport, taking into account legal restrictions. The use of automated decision-making systems based on aggregated big-data from telematic control systems is the best practice. The authors consider the problems of implementing systems for estimating mass, load and degree of body loading. Based on data on cost and potential harm to the road, a multicriteria optimization problem is solved to select the optimal transport model. The modified method of searching for Pareto-optimal solutions is used as a mathematical method. The results of experimental studies of the influence of transportation process parameters on the load capacity utilization rate are presented. The resulting mathematical optimization model is ready for integration into automated cargo transportation management systems and has a calculation error of up to 12.8%. ©2024 IEEE.

In this article, an algorithm for determining RRS coordinates on the basis of Extended Kalman Filter with the processing of Time of Arrival (ToA) type measurements is proposed. The feature of the proposed algorithm is to determine the radio radiation source (RRS) time of transmission (ToT) in the MLAT system time scale and its filtration using priori information about the period of transmission. It's shown that evaluation of ToT and its filtration at a known period allows you to get closer to the accuracy provided by Time Of Fligth (ToF) method, which can not be implemented directly for MLAT systems. This hypothesis was confirmed by modeling several algorithms: one-step TDoA, filtered TDoA, filtered ToA and one-step ToF. Modeling was performed for both the known constant period and the non constant period. In both cases, the efficiency of the proposed ToA-F algorithm was the same. The efficiency of various algorithms was compared, including the traditional ones based on the calculation of arrival time differences and the proposed one based on ToA observations and using information about transmission period. The most important result was that the ToT estimation and filtering allows to achieve the properties of the ToF method in the MLAT system. © 2021 IEEE.

There is a rapid development of means of fixed and mobile user access to reference and information services. Multimedia communication services are in demand. Accordingly, the functionality of call service centers is expanding. We will discuss improvements in call recognition and distribution. Solutions for the organization of robotic systems are proposed. Software developers take into account the wishes of customers of commercial structures and the special requirements of law enforcement and public safety authorities. Using the example of Asterisk or Naumen Contact Center, we will determine the prospects for the development of call service centers of commercial structures. Outsourcing options considered. Let us discuss the peculiarities of servicing emergency calls in the centralized 'System 112'. Operators of 'System 112' service transit traffic by issuing electronic notification of incidents. Several emergency services (for example, police, firefighters, ambulance) will receive information about serious emergencies from the operators of the 'Service 112'. Let us discuss the tendency of organizing a single call-center in distributed corporate communication networks using a specific example, when calls can come from users of different regions of Russia - Central Russia, Siberia, Far East region. The organization of such a center involves the use of the distance factor. Supervisors organize day and night shifts for operators. An example of calculating the resources of such a center is considered. The creation of large call service centers in the South- West Siberia region is possible with the involvement of satellite communications resources. © 2021 IEEE.

The article deals with the issue of testing highly automated vehicles (HAVs). Particular attention is paid to virtual testing using hardware-software complex (HSC). Siemens PreScan is used as a software implementation environment for HSC. A technique for testing vision aids based on radar sensors as part of an automatic emergency braking system (AEBS) is proposed. Special attention is paid to the influence of such effects as atmospheric attenuation of radio waves, as well as occlusion. A methodology is also proposed for conducting virtual tests of the effectiveness of LANE SUPPORT systems (LSS). The methodology includes test scenarios implemented in various weather and road conditions in the Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) testing software package. Test scenarios for virtual simulation were developed based on the ISO 17361:2007 test type: changeover to the left lane on a straight section of road through a broken marking line. The results of virtual testing according to the proposed methodology for the effectiveness of the Lane departure warning (LDW) system of the Audi A8 are presented. A monochrome video camera is used as a technical vision device for the operation of the LDW system. © 2023 IEEE.

The role of spectral measurements in science and technology is noted. The measurement of optical spectra by an idealized spectral device based on an acousto-optic tunable filter is considered. It is shown that the acousto-optical methods of spectral measurements can be considered as a manifestation of the bilinear property of acousto-optical interaction. In this context, the transition to linear integral operators describing the measurement of the spectra of radio and optical signals is made. An analysis is given of the procedure for measuring the optical spectrum with a spectral device based on an acousto-optic tunable filter with an abrupt change in the frequency of the control signal. The comprehensive characteristic of such a device, its complex spread function, as well as the result of measuring the optical spectrum in the form of an energy spectrum, has been established. © 2020 IEEE.

Dynamic routing protocols transmit routing information in a finite time, resulting in errors in determining the optimal packet route. As a consequence, the efficiency of data exchange may deteriorate, for example, increasing the time spent on the network packets. The aim of the work is to study the behavior of the network in the case of unpredictable topology changes caused by sudden multiple failures of network equipment. The solution is carried out with the help of a specialized simulation model that allows you to track the change in network parameters in the process of its operation. Simulation showed that equipment failures lead to a qualitatively new network behavior, for the characteristics of which, along with the traditional indicator 'packet delivery time', two characteristics are additionally defined: 'the proportion of lost packets' and 'the probability of packet looping'. A comparative analysis of several variants of the implementation of routing algorithms using multi-step and one-step metrics is performed and the conditions for choosing the optimal parameters of routing process control are determined. The results of the research allow us to determine the requirements for the speed of transmission of route information, characteristics of route labels and access control parameters depending on the network topology. © 2020 IEEE.
