The article analyzes the admission process, as well as the procedure and composition of the required reporting on the operation of autonomous vehicles in Russia, the USA, and the countries of the European Union. The methods and relevant standards used by advanced developers of autonomous vehicles to ensure safety are described. Approaches to ensuring the safety of a highly automated vehicle developed by 'BaseTracK Rus' LLC are presented. The results of experimental operation of the developed highly automated vehicle on public roads are analyzed. Based on the comprehensive analysis, an approach is proposed to assess and improve the safety level of autonomous vehicles during operation, which will allow achieving a high level of safety before implementation on public roads, timely identify problems with the current version of the software and hardware of the automated control system during operation and effectively generate requests for improvements and improvements of the developed solutions for improving system performance, reliability and, accordingly, safety.

At that moment the volume of transmitted data grows according to the exponential law through all available communication channels. In this regard, more and more often this leads to the need to work in data transfer mode at a speed higher than the Nyquist rate. In this article, resolution time theory is used to develop novel approach jitter analysis dependent on the data that contributes to the overall jitter in frequency selective channels with PAM-n-signals. A novel approach has the following features: 1) the computational complexity is sub-exponential in the amount of effective memory; 2) no restrictions associated with the shape of the pulse; 3) strict rule is given for estimating the channel memory when using PAM-n-signals, which does not use the rule of maximum a posterior probability

The model of distributed power amplifier, built on field-effect transistors of model MRF 9045, is presented. AM -AM characteristic and AM - PM characteristic investigated on the basis of this amplifier circuit are presented. The construction of a distributed power amplifier circuit for simplified modeling of parametric nonlinear distortion is discussed. Simplified models of this type of amplifiers for the HF and UHF ranges are given. In a simplified model for the HF range, the parametric capacitances are built on the basis of the capacitance-voltage characteristics on the field-effect transistor of model BLF 278. In the simplified model for the UHF range, the parametric capacitances are built on the basis of the capacitance-voltage characteristics on the field-effect transistor of model MRF 9045. The features of constructing a simplified model of a distributed gain amplifier are discussed. On the basis of simplified models of parametric nonlinear distortion amplifiers, several cases of the influence of parametric capacitances are investigated such as: the influence of the input parametric capacitance, as well as the influence of the output parametric capacitance. The result of the research is the amplitude and phase-amplitude characteristics. The reasons for parametric nonlinear distortions and methods of their linearization are discussed. Further research tasks are presented.

In the paper the problem of applying the digital antenna arrays (DAA) equipped with the directional radiators is considered simultaneously on azimuth and elevation planes. The method MUSIC of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation is researched depending on the shape of the antenna array and the directivity of an individual element. The half-dodecahedron, planar and cylindrical antenna arrays are considered. As it is well known along with DOA-estimation as the first step the beamforming is highly needed at the final stage of the digital arrays functionality. The optimal algorithm of maximizing the ratio of the useful signal to interference + noise (SNIR) is researched in the tasks of the radiation pattern formation simultaneously on azimuth and elevation planes. The estimations of the signal to noise and interference ratio as well as bit error rate (BER) are obtained depending on the directivity of the emitters. The research has established that the shape of the radiation pattern of elements has a significant impact on both the accuracy of bearings and placing the main lobe and zeros. The curves are provided showing the optimal performance of DAA on azimuth and elevation planes.

The study considers the possibility of using optical cables in remote control systems operated in underwater conditions. The operability of the optical microcable design to a hydrostatic pressure of 10 MPa has been confirmed. In order to determine the possibility of using optical microcables in seawater, they were exposed to salt solution simulating concentrated seawater of several versions of microcables. Graphs of the dependence of the attenuation coefficient on the exposure time in water with a salinity of 380‰ are given for all types of the studied samples. Using a microscope, the appearance of the outer coating of optical microcables and the quartz surface of the light guide after prolonged exposure to salt solution was examined. Thermogravimetric analysis and thermomechanical analysis of the studied samples are *** frequency of forced Mandelstamm-Brillouin scattering (Brillouin frequency) in optical fibers of microcables was monitored. The results of the studies confirmed the possibility of using the developed microcables with dense protective coatings made of UV-cured acrylate in systems for remote control of underwater objects.

Despite the widespread development of satellite mobile communications, radio communications in the high frequency range (3 - 30 MHz) retains its position when it is necessary to ensure over-the-horizon data transmission with low delays. The transmission speed of samples from the world's leading manufacturers reaches 120 kbit/s with a used radio channel width of 24 kHz. Manpack radios place high demands on weight and size characteristics, which are largely determined by the efficiency of the most energy-intensive unit - the power amplifier (PA). The article analyzes ways to increase the PA efficiency taking into account the features of modern telecommunication signals that use amplitude-phase modulation and have a large crest factor. Based on a preliminary analysis of a wide range of directions for increasing the radio frequency amplifiers efficiency, the most promising options for the problem under consideration are selected: a power amplifier with envelope elimination and restoration (EER) and an amplifier using the outphasing method. To date, the theoretical issues of constructing the EER PA and the prospects for its practical implementation have been better developed. At the same time, the potential capabilities of a transmitter built using the outphasing method are higher than those of the EER PA, since it does not have an inertial low-frequency envelope path, which reduces both energy performance and limits the possibility of improving quality characteristics. A conclusion is made about the advisability of further research, modeling, prototyping and testing of the transmitter using the outphasing method.

signals properties comparative analysis is carried out for ultra-wideband pulse radar probing signals, which have equal spatial resolution and duration, but differ by presence or absence of high frequency filling. The broadband factor is used, defined as the relation of the probing signal bandwidth to its spectrum average frequency. Signal-to-noise and signal-to-passive interference ratios dependences on the broadband coefficient are obtained. It is shown that for the same antenna system aperture, dimensions and radiation power, the signal-to-noise ratio in a radar with a radio-pulse probing signal will be higher. That benefit is inversely proportional to the broadband factor square. Assuming that the passive interference level is proportional to the selection element area, its estimation is obtained. It is shown that when the spectral bands of ultrashort video and radio pulse probing signals are equal, the pulse with high-frequency filling has an advantage, in terms of the considered parameters.

The paper provides an overview of the empirical model for the study of meaningful integral assessments of residents of a European city in segment of intelligent transport system. It also provides details about theoretical base and practical basis of social life of modern society. In various countries, implementation of an intelligent transport system makes it possible to solve a variety of new and relevant developments for regulation of traffic flows, ensures a high level of safety for road users and competence regarding traffic situation. The development of a road safety system, improvement of services, comfort and advantages of passenger transportation is a considerable issue in implementing new transport technologies into social life. There is a direct interrelationship with key projects and proposals formulated as part of strategy for digital transformation of European transport industry. In a modern dynamic society, there is a modernization of socioeconomic state of transport directions, deployment of modern transport lines and roads, improvement of transport communications. Moreover, there are many other issues of functioning of intelligent transport systems. Most modern megacities are developing original projects in field of intelligent transport systems, as well as putting into practice technologies for improving road safety, artificial intelligence, communication and computer technologies, corporate portals, mobile devices - everything that is relevant in today's digital society and can be significant in the future. The paper proposes a tool for studying preferences in field of intelligent transport systems.

With the ever-increasing bandwidth demand, high-speed optical systems are currently widely used to transmit various traffic over long distances. The main direction of development of optical communication systems is associated with the increase in the information transmission rate. However, the performance of long-haul high-speed optical systems is severely affected by linear and nonlinear transmission impairments, such as chromatic dispersion, polarization mode dispersion and nonlinear phase noise. In this paper the effects of the polarization mode dispersion on the system performance and its effects along with chromatic dispersion have been evaluated, and compensation methods have been proposed.
