This article reasons about the integration of learning strategies into an English Intensive Reading course for non-English language majors at an International Studies *** reasoning firstly aims to explore what key constructs of a curriculum framework should be considered for the design of an integrated course on the basis of interpreting such core concepts as"curriculum"and"curriculum framework."The derived key constructs consist of learning content and skills,learning experiences,learning assessment,and learning *** the article focuses on the elaboration of the first construct,i.e.,learning content and *** term of skills,thinking skills are essential for learners'reading proficiency,and should be integrated into the traditionally highlightedfour language skills,namely,listening,speaking,reading,and writing for language *** advance language proficiency on reading comprehension,thinking skills should be further translated into practice regarding deep reading skills and higher-order thinking skills at the cognitive level,and thinking about thinking strategies at the metacognitive *** to learning content,in light of the prescribed texts for the targeted course,various explorations on important concepts generated from those texts could be emphasized in addition to English language practice,bridging the compulsory learning content and the complementary learning skills/strategies planned to be integrated into the ***-up elaborations on the other three constructs of the curriculum framework,which are beyond the scope of this article,should be grounded in current arguments about the learning contents and skills presented here.

In order to keep the elderly's mind spurred by enthusiasm in life,a bit of difficulty in game is to be designed by the adaptable use of a multi-lingual humor corpora in game learning,through *** the by-product of the re-construction of data through scripts provides us with another option in enriching the linguistic life for the elderly,in the belief that humor resides in the mismatch of messages,which is to be capable of being reviewed through the re-ordering of the data-fragments and the re-arrangement of them in alternative hierarchies by ***,it is a shame that we ignore the value ofprogramming in the adequate exploitation of the function of humor in rebuilding language for the elderly;therefore,remedies are made in this paper,which attempts to introduce simple scripts that will make the samples in the multi-lingual humor corpora more adaptable in linguistic teaching and learning for the elderly,which shall be also available toolbox for linguistic teachers in building up their own humor corpora in Chinese,English,and German with little programming *** paper first describes the concept of the multi-lingual corpora,then,that of humor and game and the association between them;thirdly,it shows the significance of building a humor multi-lingual corpus,once again with the clarification of the concept of multi-lingual corpora by exploring the development of corpora construction *** the end,steps are introduced in the construction of the humor corpora,with an emphasis of the search skills online,followed by a series of short programs that serve as exemplar exploitation of this corpus,with a highlight of segmentation,annotation,the reduction of noise in texts,which will turn the corpus accessible to accommodate different corpus programs in learning context creation,with the help of Python scripts.
