Nowadays, there are plenty of microfluidic-based devices, from microfabrication to micro total analysis systems (microTAS) and lab-on-a-chip (LOC). The applications of these devices are very vast, such as inkjet printers, biomedical, environmental, food, smart textiles, and the detection of diseases. Microdevices mainly contain microchannels, micropumps, chambers, and membranes, and the processes are based on fluid dynamic principles. However, there are many challenges in the acceleration of these techniques. Therefore, this research investigates the main flow properties, methods, equations, boundary conditions, control points, and software applications in simulating the microfluidic behaviors in the sensors and microdevices. In this regard, after an intensive literature review analysis, hemodynamic behavior in a microdevice glucose kit has been investigated through experimental tests and CFD simulation. The results show good agreement among CFD simulation and experimental data. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

With the rapid development of society, people's work is increasingly busy, pet companionship has become an indispensable part of People's Daily life, the development trend of the pet industry has attracted much attention. This paper focuses on the data of cats, dogs and other pets by consulting the data of the number of pets, the price of food, the number and economic cost of medical clinics, the number and economic cost of beauty salons and the consumption of daily necessities in the past five years from 2019 to 2023. Firstly, five indicators (number of pets, food, daily necessities, medical treatment and beauty) affecting the development of the pet industry were analyzed. Secondly, the five indicators were quantified, and relevant data were found and supplemented according to the time series. Finally, Python software was used to analyze, screen and compare the sequential growth rate and average growth rate of the past five years according to the type of pets. On this basis, the establishment of the grey forecast, ARIMA and other forecasting models, predicted the next three years the development of China's pet industry will show an upward trend.

big data technology to analyze transportation problems has become reliable and effective. Optimizing urban traffic by improving transportation organization has always been the focus of attention in the field of transportation. In order to deeply study the urban traffic saving that can be brought by the overlapping transportation organization, this paper relies on big data technology, scientific modeling, and combines big data analysis technology with traditional traffic four-stage method to quantify important indicators. At the same time, based on big data and simulation technology, the station carrying capacity and waiting organization capacity are discussed, which provides the basis for implementing the overlapping transportation organization plan.

In modern society, traffic modeling method and simulation mode are of great importance for intelligent transportation. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to effective model and analyze the road network based on VISSIM. Particularly, VISSIM is used to describe the operation of urban transportation, traffic flow characteristics and driver behaviors respectively. VISSIM can not only simulate individual traffic, but also simulate open and rail traffic. However, the quality of VISSIM parameters greatly influences system performance. Therefore, we proposed a novel VISSIM parameters correction method based on the genetic algorithm. Finally, experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

The evolution and democratization of technologies have created a veritable explosion of information, this, of course, gives rise to an urgent need to analyze and deal with the huge masses of data. In fact, the problems raised by the accumulation of data (storage, processing time, heterogeneity, capture rate/generation, etc.) become stronger because the data are massive, complex and varied. It is clear that the representation of information has the capacity to synthesize and condense data, and constitutes an efficient approach for analysis. Nevertheless, it remains ineffective and does not solve these problems. Besides that, conventional visualization techniques are rarely adapted to manage and process this mass of information. To face the complex big data challenges, various types of technologies have been developed. This paper talks about the visualization layer. This layer is located just above the data Sources, Ingestion, Hadoop storage and Hadoop Platform Management layers for which we have already proposed a meta-modeling. It has a very important role at the level of big data Structure. In a continuous effort, we shall present in this paper a universal meta-modeling for the visualization layer and its relationship with the other layers of a big data system. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper uses the method of big data analysis to carry out the statistical analysis of Eco-sports Tourism behavior in urban space, to guide the management of urban planning and sustainable development of sports tourism, and puts forward the modeling and analysis method of Eco-sports Tourism behavior based on data mining technology. Firstly, the entity model of Eco-sports Tourism behavior characteristics is constructed by using fuzzy decision-making method, and then the statistical decision-making objective function of data mining is constructed by mining the big data of Eco-sports Tourism behavior with support vector machine. Then, the parameters of the mining objective function are optimized by using particle swarm optimization method to realize the accurate mining and feature analysis of the big data of Ecosports Tourism behavior. The simulation results show that the method can be used to analyze the Eco-sports Tourism behavior in urban space, which makes the association data mining more accurate and the statistical analysis more reliable.

With the increasing of massive multi-source heterogeneous big data, the higher demand on the speed of data analysis has been raised. Based on the analysis of the existing problems of Hadoop MapReduce and Apache Spark, this paper proposes to use Spark Streaming for real-time processing of massive stream data, and builds a prototype cluster, which proves the real-time analysis of log data (online log and offline log) and the real-time processing of network attack data. At the same time, a hybrid encryption method combining ECC encryption with block data encryption and a secret key generation method combining semiconductor noise source and chaotic sequence are proposed. The simulation results show that the efficiency and security of encryption are effectively guaranteed.

big data will bring revolutionary changes from life to thinking for society as a whole. At the same time, the massive data and potential value of big data are subject to many security risks. Aiming at the above problems, a data privacy protection model for big data platform is proposed. First, the data privacy protection model of big data for data owners is introduced in detail, including protocol design, logic design, complexity analysis and security analysis. Then, the query privacy protection model of big data for ordinary users is introduced in detail, including query protocol design and query mode design. Complexity analysis and safety analysis are performed. Finally, a stand-alone simulation experiment is built for the proposed privacy protection model. Experimental data is obtained and analyzed. The feasibility of the privacy protection model is verified.

Healthcare professionals are often the weakest link in the security chain, which is contributing to data breaches in the healthcare sector. A number of reasons account for this. Technological countermeasures for cyber defenses have been heightened and the adversaries tend to exploit easy entry points. Besides, healthcare staffs are usually occupied by their core duty of healthcare provison with little experience in information security. With a Design Science Approach (DSA), observational measures for effective profiling of healthcare staffs were developed. Regulations and security standards such as the Code of Conduct, General data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of European Union (EIJ), ISO 7799, and other Norwegian Acts and regulations for personal data protection, were reviewed for the observational measures. A comprehensive Healthcare Security Practice analysis, modeling and Incentivization (IISPAMI) framework was proposed for analyzing healthcare staffs' security practices in a comprehensive way.
