The Morse complex can be used for studying the topology of a function, e.g., an image or terrain height field when understood as bivariate functions. We present an algorithm for the computation of the discrete Morse complex of two-dimensional images using an edge-based data structure. By using this data structure, it is possible to perform local operations efficiently, which is important to construct the complex and make the structure useful for areas like visualization, persistent homology computation, or construction of a topological hierarchy. The Multiple travelling salesman problem (MTSP) is a typical computationally complex combinatorial optimization problem, which is an extension of the famous travelling salesman problem (TSP) classified as NP-Hard. The MTSP can be generalized to a wide variety of routing and scheduling problems. The paper proposes a novel metaheuristic called Elephant Herding Optimization (EHO) to solve the MTSP. The EHO algorithm is bio-inspired from the natural herding behavior of elephant groups, which has proved its efficiency in solving the classic TSP and continued optimization problems. So, to extend the application of this algorithm, The paper makes the attempt to show how the EHO algorithm can be applied to the MTSP by testing some random benchmark instances of TSPLIB. The obtained results shows the performance of the proposed method. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In order to improve the database management and scheduling ability of smartphone terminal, it is necessary to optimize the information extraction of smartphone terminal database in lock screen mode. through the dynamic mining of smartphone terminal database data, the optimal processing of smart phone terminal database data information is realized, and this paper proposes an algorithm to extract the resource information of the smartphone terminal database under the lock screen mode based on the Internet. Using distributed wireless sensor to form the Internet model of smart phone database collection, and the optimal deployment design of data acquisition Internet of things node is carried out. The spectrum analysis method is used to detect the abnormal resource information of smart phone terminal database in lock screen mode, and the detection results are fuzzy clustering to realize the extraction of smart phone terminal database resource information in locked screen mode under the environment of Internet of things. The simulation results show that the algorithm has high accuracy, good recall, strong anti-interference ability and good adaptive ability to collect the resource information of smart phone terminal database in lock screen mode. © ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2020.

In order to realize high-precision DOA tracking in space, researches on two-dimensional DOA estimation have been conducted in recent years. The existing algorithms often need large snapshots for estimation accuracy, going against the fast solution. Considering the low sensitivity of DOA estimation algorithm based on compressed sensing theory to the number of snapshots and the correct estimation with less sampling data, a modified two-dimensional multitask compressed sensing algorithm based on SVD decomposition is proposed in this paper. This algorithm makes up for the drawbacks of existing compressed sensing algorithms in dealing with multi snapshot problem and reduces the unnecessary calculation. simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can solve the off-grid problem in compressed sensing, and has better estimation performance than other algorithms under the condition of low SNR and few snapshots. © 2021, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Droplet as the basic element of spray phenomenon, has drawn engineering researchers to investigate the characteristics. Spray cooling, spray painting and spray fuel combustion are only few that mentions the applications in engineering. modeling and simulation of the droplet is a very important subject in line as an experimental field. Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) that emerged as a non-conventional tool in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is used in this work. The multi-phase fluids that involved were treated by the pseudo-potential method. The results in this work were validated through spurious current measurement. The floating droplet simulation plotted in high-density fluids inside the droplet and low-density fluid outside. The interface between the two-different density then plotted at the average of both high and low density. © 2019 IEEE
