The lifetime of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is based on the energy of each sensor. Therefore, numerous routing protocols have been introduced such as SEP (Stable Election Protocol), LEACH (Low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy) and EAMMH (Energy Aware Multi-hop Multi-path Hierarchical routing protocol) to stable the lifetime of WSN by efficient utilization of energy of the sensors. In WSN networks data is collected and forwarded wirelessly to the base stations. Routing protocols in WSN provide an efficient path for multi-hop communication because the transmission range and battery power storage of nodes is limited. As nodes are usually deployed in remote areas so, they face challenges of long lifetime, network architecture, security issues, and network coverage. Many routing protocols have been developed to increase the efficiency of networks. Out of these clustering algorithms are the best choice to increase the lifetime of the nodes. Each protocol has its limitations in different scenarios. In this paper, we discussed and compared the performance of LEACH, EAMMH and SEP. SEP is an efficient algorithm due to its weighted cluster head (CH) selection method. simulation results are obtained using MATLAB. Design metrics of energy consumption and network lifetime are under consideration in this research work. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The relevance of modern international trade and business English is studied based on computer software analysis system. Combined with the characteristics of computer software analysis system, a forgetting law model is proposed based on business English knowledge learning. Based on the characteristics of modern international trade development, BP neural network prediction model is established to analyze the export goods data to promote the wide application of business English. Finally, the algorithm is used to test the subject. The results show that the program can obviously overcome the forgetting of words and improve the vocabulary level of students. Modern international trade not only promotes the development of the national industrial economy, but also promotes the application of business English in modern international trade.

In industrial and automotive environment, speedy and reliable procurement of 3D data has become essential and is one of the main requirements for future development. Photonic mixer device (PMD) sensors which are based on time of flight (TOF) technology aim at delivering speedy images with depth data to suit the real-time applications. A software simulation of such sensor is an integral for its design and calibration. Expensive prototypes can be avoided for sensor testing and calibration as the sensor characteristics can be fixed by using a software simulator. Ray tracing is crucial for scene generation, which is a key step in sensor simulation. This paper proposes sequential algorithm for ray tracing for scene generation in the simulation process of PMD sensors. The algorithm is implemented for scene generation using basic shapes like plane, box, sphere and triangle with all possible combinations. It is observed that some shapes like triangle take more time to compute its 3D information as compared to other shapes like box, plane and sphere due to complexity. It is also possible to get 3D information for all possible combinations of basic shapes in the scene generation. The time taken by the system to generate a scene with multiple objects is not affected by the order in which the objects are placed in the scene. Aortic dissection (AD) is a condition of the main artery of the human body, resulting in the formation of a new flow channel, or false lumen (FL). The disease is usually diagnosed with a computed tomography angiography (CTA) scan during the acute phase. A better understanding of the causes of AD requires knowledge of aortic geometry prior to the event, which is available only in very rare circumstances. In this work, we propose an approach to reconstruct the aorta before the formation of a dissection by performing 3D inpainting with a two-stage generative adversarial network (GAN). In the first stage of our two-stage GAN, a network is trained on the 3D edge information of the healthy aorta to reconstruct the aortic wall. The second stage infers the image information of the aorta to reconstruct the entire dataset. We train our two-stage GAN with 3D patches from 55 non-dissected aortic datasets and evaluate it on 20 more non-dissected datasets, demonstrating that our proposed 3D architecture outperforms its 2D counterpart. To obtain pre-dissection aortae, we mask the entire FL in AD datasets. Finally, we provide qualitative feedback from a renown expert on the obtained pre-dissection cases. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Opportunistic networks are one of the important categories of ad hoc networks in Internet of Things (IoT), which exploits human social characteristics like daily routines, similarities etc., to facilitate efficient communication. In opportunistic networks, mobile nodes are used to establish communication between nodes despite of non-availability of a dedicated route between them. Furthermore, nodes don’t acquire any knowledge in advance about the characteristics of the network such as the network topology and the location of the other nodes. Hence, designing a routing algorithm becomes a challenging task since traditional routing protocols used in the Internet are not feasible for the characteristics inherent type of network. The proposed work propounds a multi-copy routing algorithm based on machine learning named iProphet or improved Prophet (Probability routing protocol using history of encounters and transitivity). iProphet, uses dynamically changing contextual information of nodes and the delivery probability of Prophet to carry out message transfer. The iProphet uses machine learning classifier known as random forest to classify the node as a good forwarder or a bad forwarder based on the supplied contextual information during each routing decision. The classifier trained with large amount of data extracted using simulation leads to precise classification of the nodes as reliable or unreliable nodes for carrying out the routing task. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms with respect to delivery probability, hop count, overhead ratio, latency but over costs with respect to average buffer time in par with similar multi-copy routing algorithms. The uniqueness of this paper lies in data extraction, categorization and training the model to obtain reliable and unreliable nodes to facilitate efficient multi-copy routing in IoT communication. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.

Device-to-Device (D2D) offloading is a promising complement to the Device-Edge-Cloud hierarchical offloading paradigm, which enables end devices to offload their computational tasks to nearby devices with idle resources. However, since the end devices are owned by individuals, people may not be willing to share resources with devices they do not trust. Excessive battery consumption can also dampen their enthusiasm for participation. Unfortunately, existing works on D2D offloading rarely jointly consider trust relationships and energy consumption, especially for the offloading of workflow applications where interdependent tasks are assigned to different individual devices. In this paper, we propose a novel D2D collaborative offloading approach for workflow applications in mobile edge computing environment, aiming to minimize the energy consumption of workflow execution while meeting the on-time response requirement of workflow requests and trust constraint of end devices. Specifically, we first partition the workflow into branches to meet the performance of single device and reduce data transfer among different devices. To achieve effective matching between the workflow branches and end devices, we introduce the concept of multi-hop trust, which helps to build a larger collaboration network with more candidate collaborators. Subsequently, we propose a distributed stable marriage matching algorithm to make the offloading decision based on the real-time information of the devices in the collaboration network, including their idle time, computing and communication capacities. We evaluate the proposed approach by conducting comparative and ablation experiments, and the simulation results demonstrate that our approach achieves the lowest energy consumption while ensuring reasonable response time of workflow requests. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, We according to Australia on October 1, 2019 to January 7, 2020, took place during the fire, put forward a kind of drones configuration system, mainly used for the different terrain, different fire, under the premise of guarantee the safety and economy, determine the number of SSA drones and relay radio, so that the firefighters can better cooperate with EOC (Emergency Operations Center). Based on the satellite map, this paper classified the fire areas in Australia into four types, according to the performance and possible function of the drone, and determined the number of SSA drone and relay radio drone in the four areas with the largest fire area in Australia based on the different types of fire areas that have been classified, combined with drone performance, and using the idea of linear programming. Then, the A-star intelligent algorithm is introduced to the urban terrain where the hand-held bidirectional radio is limited, and the shortest path from the entrance point to the end point of the fire area is found out. According to the shortest path and the performance of the drone, the number of SSA drone and relay radio drone in this area is determined,and then the fires in Australia in recent 170 years are rated, then get a record of extreme fires in Australia over the last 170 years, and use the Poisson distribution function and Monte Carlo algorithm to predict the extreme fire scenarios in Australia in the next decade to determine the increase in the number and equipment budget of SSA and relay radio ***, this paper use ArcGIS software to eastern Victoria terrain simulation, after get the specific data, using drone configuration system determines the position of trunking radio drones, and use genetic algorithm to improve model, to get the position of trunking radio drone, the results said than before improvement, relay radio drone to reduce the number of location is more reasonable. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Brain-computer interface (BCI) provides a new way to express our minds without peripheral nerves and muscles. In this work, a process control recognition method based on continuous flickering is proposed to output continuous commands. Phase matching method was applied in this work, matching the test data with the template with the same phase to improve the accuracy. We also put forward a high tolerance criterion and give a new definition to the recognition result of attention shift period. We first conducted a screen-based continuous flickering feasibility verification experiment using correlation component analysis algorithm (TRCA) method, and the recognition accuracy reached 85% and 90% under high tolerance criterion. The average offline simulation information translates rate (ITR) was 455.8 bit/min, and the highest ITR reached 524.7bit/min, which certificated the feasibility. Furthermore, we carried out a drone control experiment based on augmented reality (AR)-BCI using extended filter bank canonical correlation analysis (extended-FBCCA), and achieved an average accuracy of 90% and ITR of 49.1 bit/min, having better performance than repetitive visual stimulus (RVS) with intervals. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the percentage of mental health disorders on the rise and the cost for their treatment reaching astounding proportions, research in their treatment has also become quite extensive. Individuals suffering from the effects of their disorder constituting them incapable at various levels to lead a normal life, the need for a more effective treatment has been well established. We have focused on anxiety disorders specifically, which have mainly fear as their common denominator, and using this we decided to look into the role of the clinician in live ET sessions so as to examine whether this role can be replicated in a VRET simulation with similar or better outcomes for the patient, i.e. a more effective treatment. Our hypothesis was tested in an outpatient setting with patients being separated into two groups. We examined whether the presence of a virtual guided master using participant modeling in a virtual environment was as effective or more effective than the Standard ET method. Our VR system is based on the Full Body Immersive Virtual Reality System with Motion Recognition Camera created by Jacob Kritikos. The outcomes were gathered via the Session Rating Scale by Miller which led to the conclusion that participant modeling within a VRET approach can lead to a better treatment quality. © 2021, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.
