Model of social-economic phenomena based on solid-state Ising model is formulated and used for computer simulation. The model is based on the lattice model of ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic matter but takes deal with social phenomena. Set of agents of social-economic interaction is introduced into consideration. Agents take decision about participation in some sort of activity at discrete moments of time. The decision may lead to profit or to loss. It depends on previous history of the social-economic system. Dynamics of a system is defined by stochastic Markov process. Stochastic nature of the process is influenced by external and individual factors. The model is formulated algorithmically as a sequence of steps and is studied by means of computer simulation. Numerical results are given.

Ensuring authentication in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment is a crucial task because of its unique characteristics which include sensing, intelligence, large scale, selfconfiguring, connectivity, heterogeneity, open and dynamic environment. Besides, every object in the IoT environment should trust other devices with no recommendation or prior knowledge for any network operations. Hence, those characteristics and blindness in communication make security violations in the form of various attacks. Therefore, a trustbased solution is necessary for ensuring security in the IoT environment. Trust is considered as a computational measure represented through a relationship between trustor and trustee, explained in a particular context valued through trust metrics and evaluated by a trust mechanism. The proposed logistic regression-based trust model provides an efficient way to identify and isolate the misbehaving nodes in the RPL (Routing Protocol for Low Power Lossy Networks) based IoT network. It is one of the popularly used routing protocols in IoT, that builds a path especially for the constrained nodes in IoT environments. However, it is vulnerable to many attacks. The proposed model classifies and predicts the node's behavior (trusted or malicious). This model uses the logistic regression model to predict the node's behavior based on the integrated trust value which is computed from the direct trust, reputation score, and experience trust. It is primarily designed to address the black hole attack in the IoT environment. The mathematical analysis shows the possibility of the proposed work and the simulation results show the proposed model is better than the existing similar work. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

It appeared that with more updating ways, the optimization algorithms would perform better in optimization. In this paper, the heterogeneous mayfly optimization (HMO) algorithm was proposed. The individuals in the HMO swarms would have five ways to update their positions. simulation experiments verified that the HMO algorithm would significantly increase the capabilities of the original mayfly optimization (MO) algorithm.

Beamforming is a promising technique for suppressing interferences and enhancing desired signal in communication system. However, when the interference is close to the desired signal, the performance of the traditional beamformer decreases sharply. In this paper, a novel space-polarization joint domain beamforming algorithm is proposed to suppress the main lobe interference based on dual polarized conformal array. The proposed beamformer is designed by using convex optimization constraint criterion, which integrates the space and polarization information of the signal and can suppress the interference of arbitrary space and polarization parameters. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides good performance even if the interference and the desired signal come from the same space angle.

It is often necessary to reduce and generalize an operating device motion paths when solving the problem of portal crane movement automation. A possible way of the specialized gantry crane operating device path planning automation using genetic search algorithms is proposed. The proposed method takes into consideration a complete set of the crane operation-routing sequence, specific movement requirements and restrictions, prohibited zones size and position.

Wake effects generated by wind turbines causes the strong wake interactions among turbines and thus significantly lowers the power output of wind farm. However, it is generally difficult to model the interactions between turbines due to its complexity. To mitigate the wake interactions and thus improve the power output of wind farm, this paper proposes a model-free optimization scheme. The power optimization problem of wind farm is divided into several optimization sub-problems according to the power efficiencies of wind farm under different wind directions. Each optimization sub-problem is solved approximately by developed power optimization algorithm based on Nelder-Mead method. simulation results show that the proposed scheme can quickly and effectively improve the power output of wind farm in complex wind condition without modeling the wake interactions among the turbines.

In this paper, we focus on mathematical models of information confrontation. The models with non-stationary parameters and disturbing parameters of the rate of internal recruiting take the form of N (number of information flows) nonlinear Ito stochastic differential equations. We use generalized Wiener random processes. These processes are represented as a random series for statistical modeling. We consider the simulations for different cases of basis model with exponential and periodic time-dependent parameters.

Because of their inherent features related to cryptography, the hyperchaotic system has strong potential in security systems. In this paper, a new cryptography scheme for speech scrambling has been proposed which gives it more security level. Also, it introduced a novel seven dimensions (7D) nonlinear hyperchaotic system in third-order which has twelve positive parameters. A chaotic behavior for the proposed novel system is analyzed. The hyperchaotic system is demonstrated that beside it appropriates for speech scrambler. PRNG (Pseudo Random Number Generated) is created based on the proposed 7D hyperchaotic result. The proposed scheme depends on this novel hyperchaotic system as PRNG to generate a random keystream bit. The input speech signal in this work is first squeezed by discrete cosine transformation (DCT) to minimize the residual intelligibility (R. I.). Increasing the number of system parameters accomplished a high key space, therefore, improves the security to resist several cryptographic attacks. The scheme is measured using various tests like. Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Signal to noise ratio (SNR), percentage of Difference (P. Diff.), Segmental Signal to Noise Ratio Measure (SSNR), Crest factor measure (CF), Correlation coefficient Measure (R_C), root mean square measure (RMS), histogram, key sensitivity, spectrogram, and waveform The results of simulation and comparison prove that the algorithm can achieve better performance in encryption that means the scheme is stronger and highly secure against various types of attacks than many recent similar audio encryption schemes. Simulated and implemented the result using Mathematica and MATLAB programs to simulation results, provided qualitatively, and figures. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The maintenance cost of technological equipment makes a significant impact on the cost of production. Therefore, the reducing these costs by using optimal maintenance plans can lead to an increase in the products competitiveness. The paper describes the approach to develop optimal maintenance plans for a multi-component devices. The proposed algorithm is based on the minimization of costs which are described taking into account the reliability characteristics of each component of the device. When the process is discretized over time, the dynamic programming method can be used to solve the problem. The description of the developed software implementing the algorithm to create an optimal maintenance plans is given. The proposed algorithm is studied on the example of strapping machine which is a multi-component device.
