Three dimensional (3d) topology data obtained from different optical metrology techniques tend to produce local disagreements which may yield incorrect judgement from inspectors especially under scenarios of precision metrology. This research explores statistical methods to provide a functional scoring for similarities. The investigation is conducted using two statistical methods (Pearsons correlation coefficient and image distance), two optical techniques (structured light and focus variation microscopy) and two application scenarios (metal additive printing and ballistic forensic examination). Experimental results show the promise of using statistical tools to assist binary decisions for matching/non-matching even if 3d topology data are obtained from different optical techniques.

This study aims to model the Ngempon Temple that is still buried under the surface using the microtremor method with HVSR data processing. The measurement geometry consists of 39 points forming a rectangular grid with a measurement spacing of 2 m. The duration of data collection was 10 minutes for each point and the sampling frequency was 150 Hz. The results obtained from this study indicate the location of the temple site and subsurface 3d models of the temple site which are characterized by a frequency range of 1.28-1.32 Hz and amplification of 1.275. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper designs a novel system, which can collect spatial magnetic field information and perform three-dimensional (3d) imaging operation by combining electromagnetic detection, sensor technology, signal processing, and microcontroller technology. The micro-system consists of Hall voltage sensor, STM32 microcontroller, stepper motor, OLEd module, and driving circuits. The experimental results show that the magnetic field detection data obtained by the 3d imaging micro-system are complete and reliable, which can fully reflect the spatial vector distribution of the target magnetic field;the 3d scanning detection operates smoothly, the parameters of which are flexible and changeable;the system has stable and reliable performance and high detection efficiency, which achieves the effective detection of the magnetic field in the target area.

The world is currently entering the era of the industrial revolution of 4.0. The era in which the occurrence of disruptive technology. The main purpose of this existence of the industrial revolution to create stability in the distribution of goods and necessities. Broadly speaking, there are some benefits that can be posed by the presence of the industrial revolution 4.0 is encouraging research, customization, and optimization. In addition, there are several challenges to be faced in the industrial revolution was the first IE 4.0 security, the second is the capital, and then a third that is employment, and the fourth is privacy. A method that can respond to these challenges is additive manufacturing using SLA-dLP 3d Printing. The making of objects utilizing CAd data that have been made in advance. This research aims to know the effect of object making process parameters with digital light processing rapid prototyping technology on bending stress. The parameters investigated is the layer thickness and the exposure time. Test specimens made of a material with liquid photopolymer resin refer to ASTM d 790 using SLA-dLP 3d Printer. measurement results in data analysis using ANOVA design with type 2 factorial design model and level 1 factorial interactions assisted by software design Expert trial version. The results of the ANOVA is known that factors significantly (alpha = 0.001), to effect of object making process parameters with digital light processing rapid prototyping technology on bending stress., that are the layer thickness=10%, exposure time=2%, interaction layer thickness and exposure time=87%.

In recent decades, computer graphics have developed rapidly. With the development of computer graphics, some related technologies have also appeared one after another or have made great progress on the basis of the original. 3d laser scanner obtains the point cloud data of objects in a non-contact way, and the modelling can truly restore the original appearance of objects, so it has a great impact on urban architecture, power grid design and manufacturing. This paper introduces the collection and processing of point cloud data, and optimizes the processing efficiency of point cloud data, which greatly improves the processing speed of point cloud data and the accuracy of data display. Promote the application of point cloud data in various professional directions.

due to low efficiency, low accuracy, and difficulty in intuitively realizing the real geological conditions for spatial data acquisition on mines and slopes, this study proposes the use of a 3d modeling method based on a combination of air and ground data. The method is based on Unmanned Air View (UAV) tilt photogrammetry data. In this article, 3d terrestrial laser scanning point cloud data is used as a supporting technique via control points to spatially fuse and improve the accuracy of the UAV tilt photogrammetry 3d model. This study uses the feature points to adjust the interior point coordinates of the UAV tilt photogrammetry 3d model. The application results show that the mining site model established by this method has high precision and processing efficiency. It can also display the overall characteristics of mines and provide a scientific basis for mining, exploration, measurement, and effective evaluation of slope stability. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the daily driving process, road potholes pose a great threat to traffic safety. However, the actual road potholes are often irregular and the background is complex. So, it is difficult to accurately measure the volume of potholes. In this paper, a method for measuring the volume of road potholes based on three-dimensional point clouds is presented. First, binocular vision is used to obtain 3d point cloud data of the pothole, and the segmented pothole point clouds are projected onto the coordinate plane established by the road surface. Then, we triangulate projection points on the coordinate plane. Finally, restore these points to the true elevation points to generate triangular prism, and calculate the volume of a single triangular prism one by one. The accuracy and effectiveness of this algorithm are verified by experiments.

The selection of clear sky data in space-borne remote sensing data is very important for its data application. For FY-3d satellite microwave humidity and temperature sounder (MWHTS), an inversion system of atmospheric cloud water content by MWHTS is established based on neural network. The cloud water content inversion value is used to select clear sky data from MWHTS observation data. The experimental results show that FY-3d/MWHTS clear sky data selection method based on neural network can effectively select MWHTS observation data, thus improving the simulation brightness temperatures accuracy of MWHTS by radiative transfer model. This method can be used to select clear sky data by using space-borne observation data itself. It is easy to operate and has important practical value for climate change research, numerical weather forecast, etc., based on space-borne observation data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, a multi-frequency multi-link three-dimensional (3d) non-stationary wideband multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel model is proposed. The spatial consistency and multi-frequency correlation are considered in parameters initialization of every single-link and different frequencies, including large scale parameters (LSPs) and small scale parameters (SSPs). Moreover, SSPs are time-variant and updated when scatterers and the receiver (Rx) are moving. The temporal evolution of clusters is modeled by birth and death processes. The single-link channel model which has considered the inter-correlation can be easily extended to multi-link channel model. Statistical properties, including spatial cross-correlation function (CCF), power delay profile (PdP), and correlation matrix collinearity (CMC) are investigated and compared with the 3rd generation partner project (3GPP) TR 38.901 and quasi deterministic radio channel generator (QuadRiGa) channel models. Besides, the CCF is validated against measurement data.

In this paper, the development of a novel picosecond pulsewidth direct detection lidar for velocimetry and hard target imaging applications is discussed. The lidar system comprises of a high-speed fiber coupled laser, novel interleaved three-dimensional (3d) scanner, fiber coupled receiver with optical pre-amp module and a high-speed digitizer. The laser is a pulsed Erbium-doped fiber laser that operates at 1.55 microns wavelength, 10 MHz PRF, 60 picosecond pulse width and 8 W of output average power. The scanner is a multi-faceted polygon type that operates at scan speeds of 10000 lines per second. The system utilizes a state-of-the art 40 GS/s digitizer. The picosecond lidar allows high resolution volumetric measurement of temporally and spatially resolved 3d airspeeds in wind tunnels for capturing a 3d time-accurate map of aerosols or other seeding particles in the airflow using elastic backscatter from a rapidly scanned lidar beam with a narrow field-of-view. Preliminary testing inside wind tunnel has generated promising results for aerodynamic applications including visualizing flow characteristics around test targets. The lidar provided dynamic measurements of complex flow, including the downstream evolution of a wing tip vortex. A 3d image processing algorithm was used to correlate the motion of aerosol features between successive frames and to extract 3d airflow profiles. In this paper, details of lidar instrumentation configuration is discussed followed by results of high-speed 3d hard target imaging of various test targets.
