The convenience and economy of non-four-wheel motor vehicles are favored, and the number of non-four-wheel motor vehicles is rapidly increasing. However, it also brings some problems to road traffic safety management. The traffic management department has put forward a series of management measures, and how to recognize its license plate has become the premise. This paper realizes the license plate recognition by preprocessing the original image, license plate positioning, character segmentation, character recognition and other processes, and achieves the expected effect, which has reference significance for the research of license plate recognition. © 2020 IEEE.

In this paper, we mainly study the emotion recognition algorithm based on ECG signals, extract the correlation feature and time-frequency domain statistical feature of ECG signals, and introduce SVW, CART and KNN three classification algorithms commonly used in emotion recognition. By comparing the accuracy of emotion recognition in the application of three classification algorithms between the correlation features of ECG signals and traditional time-frequency domain features, we found that the use of correlation features of ECG signals can get a higher recognition rate, which is 16.7%∼19.7% higher than that of the traditional feature. In addition, among the three classification algorithms, KNN algorithm can get the highest emotion recognition accuracy. In order to further improve the accuracy of emotion recognition, Max-Min Ant System is combined with KNN classification algorithm in this paper to optimize the feature combination. The overall recognition rate reaches 92%, which is 16.9% higher than the accuracy of emotion recognition directly using KNN classification algorithm. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

DC Microgrid is becoming more popular because of its attracting characteristics such as high efficiency, high power quality, reduced cost and controllability. Conversion stages will be greatly reduced in case of DC microgrid as compared to AC microgrid. The conventional droop control algorithms are widely used for managing load current sharing;the functionality of conventional droop is greatly influenced by the circuit parameters such as line resistance. Because of which the output voltage of each converter may not be same, in such condition the load current sharing may get degraded. With the larger droop gain current sharing error can be minimized, but the voltage deviation exceeds the limit, so with the conventional droop always there exists a tradeoff among current sharing performance and voltage regulation. To address the limitations of voltage regulation and power sharing error a modified droop control algorithm is proposed in this paper, which provides equal load current sharing with enhanced voltage regulation. The proposed control algorithm is having a secondary control layer along with the droop controller, secondary layer consists of an average voltage, an average current controller are used at each converter in order to achieve accurate load sharing and improved voltage regulation. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified using MATLAB Simulink. © 2020 IEEE.

With the rapidly increasing power demand with renewable energy, the control is also equally important to be considered. The VSI, when interfaced with grid, is to be controlled for different disturbances. The current-controlled technique is discussed with two controllers. The PR controller is helping to remove the steady-state error, and the fuzzy has the advantage of updated PI parameter. At the same time, THD is compared in terms of harmonic percentages with different controllers. The work is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink, and it is found that the fuzzy is giving better response as compared to PR regulator. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

According to the problem of discontinuous of jerk and low rate of federate change in S-shape federate control method, a jerk-limited federate control scheme which reduces the shock to machine tool in interpolating is presented. The constraints are analyzed from the angle of bow height error and acceleration. The simulation result shows that this method can improve the feed speed faster, realize the smooth transition of acceleration, and reduce NURBS Flexible impact on machine tool during curve interpolation. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Facing the construction requirements of big data pipelines, a distributed sensor terminal for multi-parameter monitoring of oil and gas pipeline anti-corrosion was designed. The terminal uses the microprocessor S3C2440A as the core, and several sensors form a multi-parameter sensor array monitoring circuit, and realizes the data transmission of the Internet of Things through the 4G DTU communication module and TCP protocol. The device can sense the temperature value, reference potential value, programmable power supply current and voltage output value of the long-distance pipeline in real time, and realize the data interaction with the cloud server. Tests show that the device is practical in realizing the application of big data pipeline monitoring value. © 2020 IEEE.

The XACML access control policy specification language provides a simple rule/policy combining algorithm that is invoked when a request is evaluated against a particular policy set, and the results of the policy decision point (PDP) include solutions with both "permit"and "deny"effects. In short, the combining algorithm allows the policy writer to specify which effect should prevail in case of such conflicts. This feature has long been considered as misleading, and a wide variety of research has been done in an attempt to extend it using supplementary language features or algorithms based on priority definitions. We propose a new algorithm that, instead of absolute priorities expressed as numbers, is based on relative priorities that do not use numerical scales. Two kinds of annotations need to be added to policies, one that says if the value of an attribute is sensitive and another that provides information that can be used to determine which attribute is most important in the case when several sensitive values are encountered during the processing of attribute values in a request. This information serves as input to our decision making mechanism, designed to respect the user-specified priorities as best as possible. © 2020 ACM.

In order to improve the control performance of the continuous-wave mud pulser drive motor speed control system and enhance its robustness, this paper proposes an improved variable exponential reaching law. It does not add new parameters on the basis of the traditional reaching law, but achieves better chattering reduction and disturbance rejection. Its feasibility has proved theoretically in this paper. In order to further verify the superiority of the improved variable exponential reaching law, a speed loop sliding mode controller was designed and simulated based on it. Through the comparison of simulation results, the speed loop sliding mode controller designed based on the reaching law proposed in this paper can effectively improve response speed, disturbance rejection performance of the motor speed control system and reduce chattering. © 2020 IEEE.

The recent energy crises in Pakistan lead domestic user to buy their own set of generators. Domestic generators help consumers to tackle both scheduled and unplanned power outages. Energy crises open market for 1KVA-6KVA generator. The digital generators have ability to run at variable speed that makes them more efficient and hence produce less noise. But still conventional generators are foremost choice of buyers in Pakistan. Consumer's buying etiquettes have been conditioning by advertisements. Advertisements are functional for putting up apprehension, educating customers about new technology e.g;digital generators and perceiving customers of trade stores. One of the greatest operations of advertisements is to make customers alert of retail stores where both the elements upshot consumer's buying behavior. This framework is a result of 120 consumers from Faisalabad who use digital generators. Regression analysis was drawn in to identify the relation between the variables, i.e. advertisement, consumer knowledge, consumer perception and consumer buying behavior. Conclusions provide an advanced method for the managers that help them out in designing a relevant strategy for marketing retail stores. The studies show that consumers do not generate strong perceptions, but it considers advertisements as a strong tool for enhancing awareness among them. This research is going to assist the higher management of heavy electrical industries in initiating steps where customers get attracted toward their manufactured products. © 2020 IEEE.
