Information and communication technologies in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 are used in all industries. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to distance learning, computer hardware and software systems are an effective tool for the successful implementation of the training process in the universities. Virtual laboratories, simulators, test computer systems are the components of the virtual educational environment of the universities. Today these tools contain a specific multimedia element - a virtual robot assistant. Student's interaction with a virtual assistant should be comfortable and provide the successful educational process. The authors examined several aspects of effective student's interaction with the multimedia components of the interface of the computerized learning environment. The results of the conducted experiment can be used by developers of computer virtual laboratories, simulators, experimental research stands, test computer systems, a component of which is a virtual robot assistant, to optimize the processes of educational activities distance learning included. © 2022 IEEE.

The aim of the work is to create a concept for the development of intelligent transport systems (ITS) to improve the efficiency of transport services. The scientific and practical value of the results lies in the use of multi-criteria analysis of the impact of ITS services on improving the efficiency of transport services and in the development of practical recommendations for the use of ITS services in transport systems. In this paper a method for process optimization has been developed, taking into account dynamically changing states of the system and several performance criteria. The principles of dynamic intelligent system with its inherent properties are developed. The scheme of management in transport and logistics system is composed. The principle of decision making in the dynamic system of the third type is formed. Three basic types of dynamic expert systems are considered. Comparisons with conventional combinatorial methods have been made, where clear advantages of the dynamic method have been identified © 2022 IEEE.

The traffic safety of an automatic transport facility is one of the most pressing and interesting problems. The use of neural networks to solve this problem is the most promising development. The problem of constructing the trajectory of a transport object in the event of a dead-end obstacle is described in our article. A model of the control system is proposed, in which the constantly updated information received from the sensors is analyzed. At the same time, it should be noted that this information contradicts some unchanged data that are taken from global sensors. An external object that can change the rules for the movement of vehicles in the current conditions conducts data analysis. Based on the results of this analysis, it is proposed, according to a certain algorithm, to change the route of the autonomous object in accordance with the shortest option for returning to the original trajectory. The article defines a neural network according to the energy function that minimizes the cost of movement and ensures the safety of an autonomous object. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper is dedicated to solving the task of linearization an amplified tract in order to reduce the nonlinear distortions level of amplitude phase shift keying signals with different orders. Wiener model was used as power amplifier (PA). Digital predistortion method based on a memory polynomial model was used as a linearization method. The studies were carried out in MATLAB/Simulink visual programming environment. Evaluation of the efficiency of the realized compensation algorithm was based on the following parameters: Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR), Error Vector Magnitude (EVM), Amplitude Modulation/Amplitude Modulation (AM/AM) and Amplitude Modulation/Phase Modulation (AM/PM) characteristics, Bit Error Rate (BER) dependence on bit signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Thanks to the inclusion of Digital Predistorter (DPD) in the channel, we were able to achieve significant improvements in all parameters for each modulation case. © 2022 IEEE.

The ability of society to synthesize modern knowledge and successfully apply it in practice in all areas of activity assumes special importance under modern difficult conditions. This relevant knowledge is a kind of driver for the formation of the scientific and technical potential of the state, as well as ensuring the quality of the population's life, safety, and well-being of society as a whole. The leading role in the implementation of such processes now belongs to higher education. The effectiveness of the implementation of a hierarchical set of educational processes determines the quality of absolutely all processes in society. Modern information and communication technologies (ICT) make it possible to create unique conditions and opportunities for the synthesis of innovative knowledge. However, the achievement of the relevant goals (organizational, technological, economic, financial, social, political, etc.) is determined not only by the available conditions (favourable and not favorable) for the implementation of a particular activity but primarily by the effectiveness of their management. Managing the objects, phenomena and processes in the education sector, based on the ideas of both systemic and cybernetic approaches, involves the formalization of a set of goals that must be achieved as the final result, and the processes for implementing a targeted impact (influence) on management objects, as well as criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of this activity. In fact, a hierarchical set of models of educational processes and systems should be synthesized, the key moment for the creation of which is the hypothesis of some correlation between the parameters of the control actions of the management entity and the gradient of the parameters' state of the educational system itself, as an object of management. The LoRaWAN technology specification ensures perfect interoperability between IoT devices without the need for complex local implementations. In addition, it enables the deployment of energy efficient long-range networks with low power consumption. Also, the relatively low cost of solutions based on LoRaWAN standard is also very often a determining factor when choosing a technology for organizing a machine-to-machine communication (M2M) network. However, the mathematical modelling of such systems is quite new direction and there are no concrete results in this field yet. In this paper, the mathematical model of LoRaWAN cell is studied. It appeared as a result of the analysis of the information transmission process in cellular mobile networks, optimized for data transmission. Among them, for example, there are CDMA2000 1xEV-DO standard and its 3GPP analogue of HSDPA. This model allows us to take into account such important LoRaWAN feature like ADR mechanism. The article provides formulas for estimating the main characteristics of the model. The performed numerical experiments confirm the possibility of using the considered methods for the analysis and planning of LoRaWAN networks © 2022 IEEE.

The paper describes digital antenna arrays (DAA) equipped with directional elements for spatial filtering in the azimuthal and elevation planes. In particular, the digital beamforming is investigated for VHF communication channels in the range below 1 GHz, taking into account the occurrence of obstacles in the path of direct propagation. Thus the paper presents the results of simulation of the signal propagation in the VHF range depending on diffraction. It is assumed that a symmetrical dipole is used on the transmitting side, and the Yagi-Uda directional antenna is used on the receiving digital antenna array. The circular and semi-dodecahedral geometries of the arrangement of the elements of the receiving digital antenna array are modeled. The bit error rate is estimated depending on the transmitter power. The Epstein-Peterson method is described in conjunction with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) single knife-edge obstacle model for calculating multiple diffraction losses. The study was conducted for thirteen isolated knife-edge obstacles located along a propagation path of 70 km. © 2022 IEEE.

The main trends in the development of intelligent transport systems are considered. It is shown that the relevance of the problem of interoperability is increasing in the context of digital transformation of the transport industry. One approach to ensuring interoperability is open systems technology and functional standardization. Methodological approaches to localizing interoperability barriers for further optimization are considered and problems are formulated that can be solved using fuzzy logic calculation algorithms.

The effect of slow multiplicative noise on the energy spectrum of the noise modulation function is analyzed. Two cases of determining the energy spectrum are considered: with signal distortions described by a narrow-band normal stationary random process, and under the influence of pulse-fluctuation noise. The corresponding mathematical expressions of the energy spectra are obtained, including the case of deep phase distortions. It is shown that when narrow-band multiplicative noise affects the signal, a discrete component is present in the energy spectrum of the noise modulation function. Wherein the depth of the phase distortions will determine the power of said discrete component. The distribution pattern of the continuous part of the energy spectrum of phase distortion is determined by the ratio of the width of the named spectrum to its average frequency. With pulse-fluctuation modulating noise with a deterministic clock interval, the energy spectrum of the noise modulation function is the sum of continuous and discrete parts. Expressions are obtained for determining the discrete and continuous parts of the energy spectrum of the noise modulation function under the influence of modulation noise. The conditions under which the spectrum consists only of discrete components are given. © 2023 IEEE.

The present article is closely connected to a relevant development trend in the automobile industry which is aimed at implementation and operation of electric vehicles. These vehicles are not only safe and energy efficient but also advantageous in relation to vehicle intellectualization and operation. Firstly, this work illustrates the connection between modern vehicle growing operating data volumes and the necessity of the rational data exchange process organization with the help of complex solutions and various data transfer technologies. Secondly, certain technical solutions for data exchange functions as well as for digital control of a lightweight working vehicle electric propulsion system are presented in this article. Thirdly, the article comprises the results of the said functions practical implementation in the form of a high-performance modular platform consistent with the perspective requirements in terms of speed, capacity and reliability of the digital control. Finally, this paper outlines real life solutions of such system equipment and software: it describes an actual application interface which provides control and operation of vehicle electric propulsion system key components using a wireless connection through a mobile device. © 2022 IEEE.
