Blockchain technologies, due to their properties of decentralization, data immutability and cryptographic security, offer a promising solution for IoT networks. However, storing data in a blockchain may not always meet real-time requirements. When designing IoT networks that use blockchain for data storage, it is necessary to evaluate the probabilistic and temporal characteristics of the blockchain, such as the time of block formation and transaction confirmation. The paper proposes a queuing model for a blockchain network with the Proof of Work consensus algorithm. It is modeled as a closed queuing network with a complex dialogue structure between participants. The model could be used to design a blockchain for IoT systems that accounts for network characteristics and blockchain operation parameters. © 2025 IEEE.

This article explores the use of classical machine learning and Automnl methods to solve the problem of camera identification from photo images in the absence of metadata and limited computational and resource capabilities in on board communications. The experiments were conducted on the well-known Forchheim Image Database dataset using the Python programming language and libraries such as scikit-learn, auto-sklearn, skimage and pandas. The paper discusses the use of a local binary pattern (LBP) descriptor in combination with various filtering methods. A comparison of the classification results for each algorithm using different confidence and performance evaluation metrics was carried out. The experimental results showed that the Auto-sklearn algorithm achieved the best performance indicators when using the bilateral filtering method. ©2024 IEEE.

The design of on-board computer systems associates with a large number of calculations and the implementation of complex algorithms. Analytical and simulation models develop for this purpose. These models must take into account a significant number of factors, which include environmental influences, load fluctuations, and others. Queuing theory methods widely uses in modeling on-board computer systems. Queuing network models may be either open or closed. It becomes possible to take into account the network users operation technology when calculating the characteristics of this a model in the latter case. It is necessary to use special software or develop your own programs using algorithmic programming languages in any case. The processes taking place in on-board computer networks describes by the Erlang processes. Software implementation of it has been has quite complicated for a long time. In 1974 Jagerman develops a fast algorithm that implemented Erlang formula however. This paper provides examples of models and programs that allow you calculate the characteristics of on-board computer systems with a complex structure of user dialogue based on the Jagerman algorithm and Brown method for solution of nonlinear equations. © 2025 IEEE.

The article considers the problems research methods and means improvement of indicators communication quality of fiber-optic transmission systems using the technology spectral and dense spectral multiplexing optical signals with frequency and time division of optical communication channels. Based on the research communication quality, methods of calculation indicators noise immunity reception optical signals in fiber-optic transmission systems using the technology wave multiplexing are proposed. Based on the methods calculating the quality of communication, important analytical expressions were obtained that evaluate the required optical signal-to-noise ratio, receiver sensitivity, permissible losses, average signal powers, bit error probability, and power penalty. For comparative analysis, graphical dependencies of the penalty for the optical signal power in a single-mode fiber on the extinction coefficient of the modulator in the transmitting optical module were given.) © 2025 IEEE.

In this paper, an approach to detecting vehicle damage using deep learning and computer vision methods is presented. The aim of the study is to develop an automated system for identifying various types of external damage to vehicles, such as scratches, dents, and cracks, to enhance damage assessment speed and reduce costs. The YOLOv10 model is employed for damage detection, utilizing both the CarDD dataset and a custom dataset created from the vehicle fleet of a large ecommerce company, containing annotated images of vehicles with diverse defect types. The study includes a comparative analysis of different model configurations and the effectiveness of various neural network formats. The proposed system architecture integrates the trained model, providing reliable and efficient detection of external vehicle damage. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper addresses the problem of deploying complex systems in Kubernetes clusters. It discusses using the OperatorSDK framework supported by RedHat as a basis for implementing the Kubernetes operator for Lightweight MultiAccess Edge Computing Platform Simulator (LWMECPS) deployment. Special attention is given to the operator Kubernetes architecture and how to use Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) to continuously deploy LWMECPS and machine learning models for it. © 2025 IEEE.

The article analyzes the role of satellite communications in the ecosystem of fifth-generation networks and the prospects for its development. The key features of 5G technology, the limitations of terrestrial networks, and the benefits of satellite integration for global coverage, resiliency, and mobility support are discussed. Special attention is paid to technical and economic challenges, such as signal delay, power consumption, standardization and launch costs, and modern solutions are proposed, including protocol optimization, the use of artificial intelligence and the development of reusable rockets. The prospects of satellite communications are discussed, including mass connection of subscribers ' devices, improvement of communication in remote regions, and support for missioncritical applications. It is shown that the integration of satellites into the 5G ecosystem will be a key factor for creating a global, reliable and high-speed communication network that can meet the growing needs of the digital society. © 2025 IEEE.

Three variants of models of specialized distributed computing systems containing one, two and four parallel task queues are considered. Such systems are characterized by continuous non-stationary internal task flows. In these systems, the input tasks are parallelized into an a priori unknown number of data-independent subtasks. And when a certain subtask containing a solution is completed, all other branches of this task are deleted. The aim of the work was to study the behavior of such systems when they are organized with several parallel queues. The issues of changing the efficiency and performance of such systems with an increase in the number of queues are considered. Studies have shown that the use of several queues makes it possible to increase productivity without increasing computing resources. © 2025 IEEE.

In modern industry and transport systems, control to ensure the accuracy of technology processes is of crucial significance. The article provides examples of using the theory of dynamic systems to ensure the accuracy of control systems for elements of transport systems, allowing for monitoring, optimization and intensification of processes based on automated systems for analyzing control system indicators. Control systems encounter such disturbing factors as dynamic loads, equipment wear and tear and external factors leading to variations from specified parameters. The paper presents studies of dynamic characteristics to determine potential opportunities for adjusting process parameters, which in turn help in identifying the causes of deviations and determining optimal process parameters. The proposed methods for assessing the quality indicators of control systems are proposed for use in digital signal processing, control systems and other applications related to the analysis of dynamic systems. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents an approach to the development of an intelligent system for the detection and localization of objects based on acoustic data. The key element of the system implementation is the use of a microphone array that collects acoustic information from various directions. The collected data is fed into a neural network algorithm that is capable of simultaneously analyzing eight sound tracks. Multichannel processing allows the system to detect the presence of an object in a given area, localize its location and, in the case of directional movement of the object, indicate the trajectory of movement. The system is capable of analyzing audio data in real time, which makes it suitable for applications in various fields, including safety, environmental monitoring and automated surveillance systems. ©2024 IEEE.
