TCP is a reliable protocol that works on a single communication stream to receive and send data. If either method is interrupted, communication will fail. On the other hand, a device such as a smartphone or laptop has multiple network interfaces that allow data to be transmitted over several lines simultaneously. Multipath TCP is an extension of TCP which can improve device performance to maximize transmission by sending data simultaneously through multiple network interfaces so that it will have an impact on throughput and reduce connection failures. MPTCP has scheduling features, some of which are minimum round trip time (MinRTT) and Round Robin. MPTCP also has several types of congestion control algorithms such as Cubic, wVegas and Balia. With these mechanisms, MPTCP can provide better results on real time services such as video streaming. this study aims to compare the performance of each scheduling method, in which each scheduling mechanism will be combined with Cubic, wVegas, and Balia congestion control to run video streaming services. From the test results, Cubic has better throughput in both the minimum round trip and round robin times and is followed by wVegas and Balia. For the delay metric, Cubic performed best for both the minimum round trip time and round robin, followed by Balia and wVegas. For packet transmission, wVegas gets the best performance for both round trip and round robin minimums, followed by Cubic and Balia. © 2021 IEEE.

Droop control is a conventional method for seamless integration of multiple power sources to feed a power grid. It is a decentralised power flow control mechanism which doesn't involve any communication links between the controllers which feed energy. Droop control mechanism has poor voltage regulation despite its advantage of decentralised control. this is because the droop characteristics of connected systems that feed energy to the grid are different. this paper proposes an advanced multi droop characteristics mechanism which involves selection of droop characteristics based on the tolerance band of the voltage. If the DC bus voltage of the microgrid falls below a particular tolerance band level, the intelligent controller shifts the droop characteristics to a new droop characteristics that makes the system to work within the standard voltage levels. To avoid jerks and transients in the bus voltage due to the shift in droop characteristics in real time, a voltage level-based hysteresis is used. the proposed control strategy is simulated and verified using MATLAB Simulink. Results are discussed towards the end of the paper. © 2021 IEEE.

Motion-cueing algorithm is the movement simulation system that calculates the platform's attitude to produce the feeling of real vehicle movement to the user considering the platform's mechanical restrictions in its calculation and algorithm. this paper presents the design of the kinematics model and motion-cueing algorithm for a 6-DOF motion platform. Firstly, the relationship between each axis coordinate is derived from the motion platform coordinate transformation and kinematics theory. Next, the optimized tracking motion-cueing algorithm is designed to improve the dynamic responses of the 6-DOF control system. Finally, a digital signal processor (DSP), TMS-320F-28377, is used as a control center to carry out the kinematic model and motion-cueing algorithms which combines MATLAB software to analyze the execution results of DSP. Simulation results validate the theoretical analysis to illustrate the practicability and correctness of the proposed method. © 2021 IEEE.

Traditional time-domain simulation method has long calculation time on transient voltage stability margin prediction problem, the direct method is difficult to adapt to the complex power grid model, and the deep neural network method requires a large data set. In this paper, we propose the method based on LightGBM, which has the advantages of appropriate model complexity and less training time demand. Based on a regional subsystem of Guangxi Power Grid with more electrolytic aluminum load, and a power system transient voltage stability margin prediction model based on LightGBM is constructed. To solve the long tail distribution learning problem, target clipping and log transformation techniques are proposed to enhance the model. the effectiveness of them is verified by experiment results. And we propose a new metric, partial RMSE, to evaluate the performance of the model fitting the instability data. the experiment results also show that it has achieved better performance and training time than other machine learning models. © 2021 IEEE.

the traditional single three-phase two-level voltage source inverter introduces high-frequency current ripple due to pulse width modulation. It leads to high-frequency vibration and noise in motor control. To solve this problem, carrier phase-shift SVPWM (CPS-SVPWM) algorithm for a dual three-phase PMSM system is proposed in this paper. First, the reasons for the high-frequency torque ripple in the traditional three-phase PMSM system is analyzed. On this basis, a carrier phase shift algorithm is proposed for the dual three-phase PMSM system to reduce the motor torque ripple. Finally, finite element simulation verified the effectiveness of the algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.

the More Electric Aircraft and All Electric Aircraft are very important development directions of airplane in the future, which calls for high integration and reliability in their power systems. Recently switched reluctance motor and the three-stage brushless synchronous motor are widely used in the aeronautic starter/generator system. Considering the reliability and maintainability of the power system, as well as the power density and loss characteristics of the motor, synchronous reluctance motor can be used as both starter and generator. this paper develops a new scheme of starter/generator system using synchronous reluctance motor and DC/DC converter for low voltage high power drive situation. © 2021 IEEE.

With the drastic growth of the energy internet in recent years, the energy router, an important energy hub, has seen wide application and unprecedented value due to its many functions such as energy transmission and coordination management. However, the energy router's ability to cope with the grid voltage sag is critical to its stable operation. this paper presents an advanced low voltage ride-through (LVRT) control strategy for the energy router when the symmetrical grid voltage sag occurs. the presented LVRT strategy can assist in voltage recovery and active power maintenance. When detecting a voltage sag, the inner loop regulator is directly controlled which contributes to the amelioration of the response speed as the outer loop regulator is disconnected. Voltage sags of different severities require different reactive and active power injections to support the voltage recovery and reduce the impact on the energy router's power delivery. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the presented LVRT strategy. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper proposes an intelligent traffic control system using a wireless sensor network. the proposed model is capable of basic routing and for emergencies and traffic rule violations. Here, we use IR sensors to detect the number of vehicles and help detect emergency vehicles, Image sensors for traffic rule violations, and Mic sensors to identify the emergency vehicle's frequency using an advanced algorithm. the work is done with the help of machine learning and image processing techniques. © 2021 IEEE.

Urban road intersection recognition and feature extraction are crucial for road network modeling and traffic flow analysis. this paper proposes a novel method of intersection recognition and feature extraction based on vehicle trajectory data. First, valid spatialoral continuous trajectory segments of each vehicle are obtained by time differences analysis between adjacent trajectory points. Second, based on the basis that the turning behaviors of vehicles mostly occurring at the intersection area, the turning angles are calculated, and the valid turning points are extracted as the samples of clustering algorithm. Finally, the density peak clustering algorithm (DPCA) is used to recognize the intersections from road network which reconstructed from the vehicle trajectory data. the experiment on real-world vehicle navigation trajectories in the city of Lianyungang shows that the proposed method is able to recognize intersection accurately with scalability. © 2021 IEEE.

Purpose: Taking the population of Henan Provincial People's Hospital Chronic Disease control Center from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 who came to the hospital for physical examination as the research object, analyze and explore the role and contribution of physical activity level in the prediction of hypertension by using the LSTM network model, which can provide references for the clinical diagnosis of hypertension. Methods: Randomly select 2000 physical examination data, remove missing and invalid data, and preprocess them. Finally, select factors such as gender, age, body mass index, weight grade, waist-to-hip ratio, physical activity level, body fat percentage and other factors to establish a neural network prediction model. then test and study the model, focusing on exploring the contribution of physical activity level to prediction. Result: the level of physical activity has certain advantages in predicting the prevalence of hypertension, but the predictive ability in the later stage is insufficient © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
