The consideration of the changes in the labor market of Ukraine caused by the consequences of the COVID19 pandemic was proposed. An analysis of the situation in the global and Ukrainian economy in 2020 on the background of the pandemic was conducted. An approach to modeling the impact of government anti-pandemic decisions on the labor market is proposed. The forecast of development of this market in 2021 is made. © 2021 IEEE.

Mathematical model of the subdiffusion impedance in multilayer nanostructures is considered on the basis of the Cattaneo-type diffusion equation in fractional derivatives. The Nyquist diagrams are calculated for different values of subdiffusion coefficient and time parameter (time for which the flow delays concerning the gradient of charge carriers concentration). A qualitative agreement is obtained for the GaSe system with encapsulated β-cyclodextrin. © 2021 IEEE.

Aiming at the current queuing problem in large theme parks and the insufficient utilization of facilities, a dynamic virtual queuing model is proposed, which can recommend the most time-saving tour route for visitors based on each visitor's interest points and combined with the real-time dynamic changes of crowd flow in each facility. An improved data structure is proposed to transform the Dynamic Travelling Salesman Problem into Travelling Salesman Problem;the traditional genetic algorithm is also improved by proposing the Optimal Replication Method to optimally adjust the population before the selection operation, and the Parent-Child Competition Method is introduced in crossover and mutation to guarantee that the evolutionary process always proceeds in a beneficial direction. The improved data structure greatly improves the efficiency of the algorithm;the improved genetic algorithm can achieve convergence faster and find a better tour route in a faster time, thus improving the visitor experience. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

A green energy certificate transaction, as one of the ways to meet China's renewable energy quota system, is a virtual transaction through the renewable energy trading system. Different from the market mechanism of only one transaction in the past audit cycle, this paper establishes an agent-based renewable energy system with multi-period trading according to the existing green energy certificate trading policy. With simulation of a period of audit of green spot multi-period transactions, the agent of limited rationality makes it in the pursuit of their utility under the premise of interaction. The experiment observes the utility level of agents under different trading strategies, verifies the influence of different policy behaviors on the market, and obtains the market equilibrium state. The conclusion shows that there is a serious green certificate premium in the early stage of the market. After adjustment by fines, the green certificate price of 0.05-0.08 yuan can maximize social welfare and stimulate the enthusiasm for individual purchases. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Pre-training a transformer-based model for the language modeling task in a large dataset and then fine-tuning it for downstream tasks has been found very useful in recent years. One major advantage of such pre-trained language models is that they can effectively absorb the context of each word in a sentence. However, for tasks such as the answer selection task, the pre-trained language models have not been extensively used yet. To investigate their effectiveness in such tasks, in this paper, we adopt the pre-trained Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer (BERT) language model and fine-tune it on two Question Answering (QA) datasets and three Community Question Answering (CQA) datasets for the answer selection task. We find that fine-tuning the BERT model for the answer selection task is very effective and observe a maximum improvement of 13.1% in the QA datasets and 18.7% in the CQA datasets compared to the previous state-of-the-art. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The dynamic coupling simulation of urban water supply network and non-negative pressure water supply is very important for the security of urban water supply. The three related aspects were studied in the paper. Firstly, taking an independent area of city K water supply system as an example, the coupling hydraulic modelling was built based on EPANET software. Then the nodes of residential water consumption in the network were installed with non-negative pressure equipment ergodically. Therefore, the suitable node locations for installation were obtained, and the sensitive nodes in the pipeline network were listed at the same time. Lastly, for the simultaneous multi-point utilizations of non-negative pressure equipment, the operating situation was simulated and the impact on the pressure of the municipal pipeline network was analysed. Based on the hydraulic simulation results and genetic algorithm, the layout of secondary water supply with non-negative pressure was optimized. The theory on non-negative equipment proposed in the paper is also applicative for other cities. © 2023 The Authors.

The hydraulic support system in fully mechanized face is huge and complex, working environment is special, so emulsified pollution is an outstanding problem, which influences the performance and efficiency of the hydraulic support system, high pressure back flushing filter station is an important emulsion cleaning equipment in the system. The pollution control model is constructed, pollution equilibrium equations are derived for high pressure emulsion back flushing filter station in ore. Flow division coefficient and back flushing efficiency are introduced for back flushing time simulation research, that indicate the parameters influence relation for back flushing time, at last accuracy and feasibility of the pollution control simulation model is discussed by the comparison analysis of experimental and simulation results, the higher the back flushing efficiency is, the higher the flow division coefficient is, the shorter the back flushing time is, and the higher the cost is, the back flushing model based on pollution control is effective that provides a theoretical criterion for the optimal design of high pressure back flushing filter station. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

The research into the transfer of salt solutions and pollutions is one of the pressing problems of agriculture. Changes of water regime may lead to the development of dangerous hydrogeological phenomena: the salination of soil masses, the pollution of ground waters, the flooding of territories. In connection with this a mathematical model was constructed of heat mass transfer during filtration and of moisture transfer taking into account the infiltration in saturated-non-saturated layered soil which renders the possibility of studying the character of these progress and forecasting their development. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, we present an improved algorithm for the rectilinear Steiner trees problem with minimal number of Steiner points. Given a set X of n terminal points in the L1 plane and a positive constant L, it is asked to construct a Steiner tree T interconnecting of these n terminal points, with the length of each edge in that tree T is no more than L. It has been proven that this problem is NP-hard and there exists a 2-approximation algorithm in time O(n3). By using the strategies of the sweep-line algorithm and a leaf-deletion technique in a special forest composed of selected edges from a rectilinear minimum spanning tree on X, we propose an effective 2-approximation algorithm in time O(n log n). © 2024 The Authors.
