When public emergencies or disasters occurred, such as fires and earthquakes, safety accidents with group trampling can easily be caused. In the previous work, the study of crowd evacuation mainly adopted artificial parameters for simulations. To overcome these problems, we propose a data-driven crowd evacuation simulation method based on Raspberry Pi. First, we configure Raspberry Pi as sensor node, which is connected the wireless WiFi network card with monitoring function and the infrared sensor module with detection function. And then the sensor node was deployed to collect real data of crowd evacuation in real scenarios. Second, the curve fitting method is used to deal with the functional relationship between crowd density and average evacuation speed. In terms of crowd evacuation simulation calculation, we present Crowd Density-based Reciprocal Velocity Obstacle (CD-RVO) algorithm which drive individual speed changes with crowd density, to optimize the options for safety exit of individuals and reduce evacuation time effectively. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed method can simulate the process of crowd evacuation realistically and improve crowd evacuation efficiency. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

A system of extreme control over the dilution of saline waters in the river section is proposed. A mathematical model of the spread of pollution from point and diffuse sources has been formalized. Based on the simulation, regulatory actions are determined that keep the water quality within acceptable limits. At the same time, the consumption of wash water is minimized. Scenario analysis of the Ingulets River section flushing showed a water resource saving of 17.5 million cubic meters in comparison with the existing regulations. © 2021 IEEE.

The article deals with the issues of computer modeling of methods for selecting images of objects against a non-uniform background. A test video sequence with given background and object parameters is considered, which provides imitation of one of the special cases of video surveillance conditions, namely, the convergence of the video surveillance point and the object. The issues of adaptation of the compensation selection method to the specified conditions of video surveillance are discussed. Examples of test images and graphs of dependences of the probability of correct determination of coordinates depending on the value of the local contrast of the object in relation to the background, obtained by computer simulation are given. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. For the investment portfolio problem in the securities market, the log return rate function and the semi-absolute deviation risk function are used to obtain the expected return rate and risk of the securities, and the multi-target portfolio model comprehensively considering the investment return, risk and liquidity is established. A dimensional adjustment coefficient is weighted linear combined according to the investor preference coefficient, that is, the multi-target planning model is transformed into a single-target planning model. Finally, the effectiveness and rationality of the method are explained. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Mathematical models and numerical methods are used in predicting the various approaches of the cancer treatment process. In the present study, the drug delivery is investigated in three different biological tissues, i.e., tumor, normal, and normalized ones with different transport properties to study the effect of the intensity of vascular normalization on the behavior of interstitial fluid flow and drug distribution. The continuity, momentum (Darcy’s law), and convection–diffusion equations in the porous media are solved numerically. Results show that vascular normalization reduces the interstitial fluid pressure and sets up the pressure gradient, which can cause fluid flow throughout the tumor. The drug delivery improvement is shown by solute transport analysis, also. It is concluded that the amount of the maximum rate of drug concentration increases in time by vascular normalization. Moreover, normalization can establish the concentration gradient, which consequently improves the penetration of the drug into the inner parts of the tumor. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The main manifestation of stroke patients is physical disorder, so physical rehabilitation treatment will also become a very important link. In order to solve this problem, we have researched and developed a physical rehabilitation detection system based on VIBE. System using existing large-scale motion capture data set (AMASS) and unpaired, the laboratory environment points 2D note, by convolution neural network training out a preliminary training model, and then will recover limb disorders of the video input into a network testing, according to the result of parameter judge the body recovery degree of the patients. In addition, the attention mechanism is added in the network to better fit the movements of the body to achieve the real effect. Through the analysis of the test results of rehabilitation video, it is proved that this method has a good effect on the detection of limb rehabilitation. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Due to the adaptive transmission components of the hydraulic torque converter, compact planetary gear transmission mechanism and proportional valve precise control of the multi-clutch control system, AT transmission has good road adaptation, outstanding starting and acceleration characteristics, high power density, comfort shift process and other advantages. It is widely used in military, mining and other vehicles with complex road conditions and requiring high mobility flexibility. The combination of the multi-degree of freedom planetary transmission mechanism and the clutch highlights the power shift advantage of the AT transmission. By analyzing the working principle and characteristics of the AT transmission clutch, this paper establishes its Simulink model, which lays a foundation for the vehicle dynamics model. © 2024 The Authors.

Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs) are a versatile tool for handling uncertain problems and have proven effective in practical applications. However, many existing Pythagorean fuzzy similarity measures have counter-intuitive situations, making it challenging to measure the similarity or difference between PFSs accurately. To address this issue, we propose two similarity measures for PFSs inspired by the Tanimoto similarity measure. We also explore the properties of the proposed measures and provide several numerical examples to illustrate their superior performance in processing fuzzy information from PFSs. Finally, we demonstrate the applicability of the proposed measures in solving pattern recognition problem. © 2023 The Authors.

Accurate step tariffs can stimulate residents' awareness of electricity saving and enthusiasm while guaranteeing the reasonable recovery of power supply costs and optimizing the company's benefits. In this paper, the optimization model of power consumption is constructed by minimizing the degree of dissatisfaction of residents, considering the affordability of residents, and constructing the optimization model of residential ladder tariffs with the goal of maximizing the profit of the power supply company in power sales. And through the particle swarm optimization, the modeling optimization is carried out on the residential electricity consumption data of Province J. The experimental results show that the proposed model is more suitable for the consumption psychology of the residents while effectively covering the level of residential electricity consumption. © 2023 The Authors.
