Question answer (QA) is a field of research involving various disciplines, but it has to do with the development of information technology in various fields, especially in education. This is because of the increasing needs of users in completing their tasks, the more teaching and learning tasks that are now in the digital age, the more increasing interest in affective computing to produce increased data so that it can be available at any time according to users' needs. Where natural language processing (NLP) is a solution that can manipulate and replicate complex and complex requests and can collaborate with various other disciplines including QA to provide information automatically by assisting to get help in language for humans. This paper proposes a novel approach to enhance the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) using a unique combination of hardware and software as well as the use of a One Time Password (OTP) algorithm based formulated through the modification of the RFC based Time-based One Time Password (TOTP) standard. The adoption of electronic channels for commerce has necessitated the need for enhanced protection of PII. For one to be granted to e-services one has to surrender part, if not, all of their PII hence making their personal data susceptible to leakage. To ascertain the effectiveness of the proposed solution, tests were conducted using various methods and tools such as Arduino microcontrollers, python programming language, Arduino programming platform and the Proteus Simulation software. Results from the experiments conducted demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution in preventing the leakage of PII. © 2021 Newswood Limited. All rights reserved.

The paper describes how a multidisciplinary team has developed, on behalf of Ansaldo Energia Spa, a methodology based on the technologies made available by Industry 4.0;a methodology that allows rescue teams to quickly intervene in the event of man-down in isolated areas of the plant where the unfortunate person would risk being found with significant delay and consequent problems for his physical well-being. To achieve this result, an appropriate hardware and software device has been developed by a highly specialized supplier, under the direction of the team. Such a device makes it possible to alert automatically rescue teams in real-time, at the occurrence of the event, and geo-locate, with extreme precision, the man on the ground. The methodology, once devised, has been standardized in a series of sequential and generalized steps, in order to make it applicable to any type of company or construction site, or workshop in which the event of the man-down may occur. The methodology is configured as a real toolkit for the protection of operators from damage, even extreme, that can derive from prolonged waits of the rescue teams, each time that operators incur negative events for their safety, whether they are exogenous (illnesses with fainting, heart attacks, epileptic attacks, strokes...) and endogenous (accidents in the workplace). © 2021 Newswood Limited. During the current pandemic situation, the laptop market is accelerating due to increased demands of ‘work from home’ and ‘learn from home’. The expansion of the market and the increased volume of laptop products on e-commerce websites require effective and efficient products management and categorization. Better products categorization offers a smooth navigation and shopping experience to the customer. This research paper handles laptop products classification as a multiclass classification problem. It proposes a method to automatically classify laptop products into three categories, namely, ‘Budget’, ‘Midrange’, and ‘Flagship’ using machine learning classifiers. Various classifiers including Support Vector Machines, Multinomial Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, and Artificial Neural Network are used for the classification task. The classifiers are evaluated in terms of accuracy, recall, precision, and F1-score metrics. The results reveal an outstanding accuracy of 99% for SVM (Linear kernel), 98% for SVM (Gaussian kernel), Multinomial Logistic Regression, and Decision Tree classifier, 91% with the Artificial Neural Network, and 72% with SVM (Polynomial kernel) on our laptop products dataset. © 2021 Newswood Limited. The advances in technology and data science affect many fields positively. One of these fields is education. Learning analytics have the potential to develop new ways of achieving excellence in teaching and learning. The companies try to use learning analytics techniques for their employees’ education and aim to improve employee performance. The education data sets of Softtech employees are used in this study. Softtech is a software company in Turkey, and those data sets include different types of technical, non-technical, online, and offline education. All data sets are combined, and an employee network is created by connecting employees via education. In this study, complex network analysis, link prediction, and machine learning techniques are applied with the aim of creating an education recommendation system. © 2023 Newswood Limited. A previous study of two algorithms performances in a given practical experiment using Java for four different data types on a sequence of 20,000,000 elements showed striking results. Focusing on type LONG, for instance, the average execution times showed that, three-way-reversal sequence rotation took only 49.66761ms, whereas that of juggling rotation was as big as 246.4394ms - approximately 496.18% difference! This current study is therefore set out to investigate the actual source of this huge up surge in the average execution time of the juggling sequence rotation. Data were extracted from a large pool of the previous study, presented in a different format and analyzed. The current study shows that the juggling rotation performance for some cycle gaps actually competes favorably with three-way-reversal rotation (and even outperforms the latter for certain cycle gaps), but performs poorly with some other consecutive cycle gaps. This study observes that the poor performance was worst and enormous with cycle gaps that were around and closest to the square root of the sequence size. The current study therefore advises application developers to be mindful of the use of juggling rotation, if cycle gaps are around the square root of sequence size and, in particular, if the application is time critical. Concentrating only on scenario of likely best performance behavior of the juggling rotation, this study is restricted to greatest common divisors values that are equal to cycle gaps. © 2021 Newswood Limited. Organic fresh milk has higher nutrition than conventional milk, with the former consisting of n-3 fatty acids, iron, carotenoid, less iodine, and high protein. These are the results of organic farming, which is different from traditional agriculture in terms of farm preparation, feed, dairy health, and organic milk processing standards. However, there are limited studies in Thailand and Japan on organic fresh milk from the customer perspective to support one function of the organic fresh milk system. This study aims to fill in this gap. Researchers conducted the developed questionnaires with 418 samples in Thailand and 432 samples in Japan. This study examines attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control of willingness to purchase organic fresh milk. The collected data was analyzed using a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model. The results showed that attitudes toward behavior and subjective norms are associated with willingness to purchase organic fresh milk. Package labeling also has a strong influence on perception. Especially during the COVID-19 crisis, healthy consumption and lifestyle had a positive effect toward the purchase of organic fresh milk. Social media also affects subjective norms correlated with willingness to purchase such milk. However, one’s perceived behavioral control for willingness to purchase organic fresh milk in Thailand is not significant, whereas in Japan it is. © 2021 Newswood Limited. All rights reserved.

As in most sectors, the development of an intelligent recommendation system in tourism becomes an important issue. Tourism agencies are putting maximum effort into suggesting the best and most valuable hotels for their customers. With the help of B2B relations between agencies and hotels, tourism agencies hold large hotel feature datasets. Summarizing or interpretation of high-quality data requires the implementation of data analysis methodologies. Tourism data is unique in terms of geography and culture. Thus, every new data set requires a dedicated analytical process. Furthermore, because raw data is in the form of a sparse binary matrix of hotel features, it poses a technical challenge to any analytical process. This paper presents a comparison of different clustering and dimension reduction methodologies for real-world hotel data of this nature.
