The goal of machine learning (ML) is to develop models that automatically learn from the past without being explicitly programmed. ML has numerous applications, such as pattern recognition, forecasting upcoming trends, and judgement. It can handle massive amounts of huge vectors and tensors representing multidimensional data. To handle these processes on traditional computers, enormous time and computational resources are required. Unlike traditional computers, which use binary bits to compute, quantum computers (Q.C.) use qubits, which can simultaneously hold 0 and 1 combinations through superposition and entanglement. This makes *** an excellent choice for implementing ML algorithms because they are skilled at handling and post-processing large tensors. Although many of the models used for ML on quantum computers are based on concepts from their classical computing counterparts, the use of quantum computers has made them the better of the two. This paper assess the speed and complexity benefits of using quantum computers and gives a general overview of the state of knowledge regarding the use of ML on Q.C. © 2022 IEEE.

Under the influence of China's sustainable development strategy, the design of urban road traffic engineering should adhere to the concept of environmental protection and develop in the direction of green and modernization. This paper proposes a slow traffic optimization at intersections based on green building materials and signal processing technology. The green building materials, such as colored asphalt concrete pavement and polyurethane elastic isolation column, are used for the channelization design of the traffic space for slow traffic at the intersection. Then the slow traffic signal optimization processing technology is used that is the slow traffic signal timing algorithm model to optimize the slow traffic crossing time. Finally, the evaluation and analysis are carried out through VISSIM traffic simulation. The results show that the method presented in this paper can effectively reduce the average delay of vehicles and the average travel time of slow traffic at intersections.

Speech, languages, and background voices are overlapped in the multi-speaker environment. The speech separation process is necessary for downstream applications like language and speaker identification and ASR tasks. A combined speech separation and language recognition approach is proposed in this paper. First, the monolingual information is extracted from a multi-speaker multilingual speech scenario, then fed the separated speech to a language identification model. The speech separation model is trained in a single-channel overlapped speech data, and the language identification model is trained in Oriental language corpus. The combined effect of these two models is evaluated in the task of language identification. When the language recognition network is fed with the audio spectrograms separated by the source separation network, the Chinese and Korean language recognition results are significantly improved in terms of accuracy and recall rate than the mixed audio spectrograms. © 2022 IEEE.

With the needs of the rapid development of society, video surveillance systems are more and more used in all aspects of life, but the current video surveillance systems mostly use PCs as platforms and cameras for long-term uninterrupted recording. This not only consumes high power, but also has poor portability and consumes a huge amount of storage devices. It will also be extremely tedious in the face of complex and massive redundant data when looking back at video to find key information afterwards. Based on virtual reality technology and video processing technology, this paper studies the design of monitoring system. This paper tests and analyzes the designed embedded system. Experiments show that all functional modules of the system work normally, and compared with ordinary video surveillance systems, the output frame rate is good and can reach 25FPS. © 2022 SPIE.

In this study, from the soil compaction characteristics, the Swin Transformer network in deep learning method is used to identify the soil surface rough and smooth, and compared with the traditional network method, proving that the algorithm in this paper has good results in terms of recognition accuracy and recognition speed;using Mask leveling, wavelet transform denoising and other steps in the traditional image processing method to identify whether the soil contains cracking;using the methods of physics, mathematics and soil science, fusing gravity sensors to detect soil water content, porosity, etc;using BP neural network, fusing the extracted features to achieve the purpose of real-time detection of soil compaction, and the experimental results show that the accuracy of this algorithm is 98.8%. © 2023 SPIE.

Elderly individuals worldwide have a significant risk of injury or death due to falls. An aged person's mobility, independence, and quality of life can be significantly impacted if he or she falls and does not receive timely assistance. This paper proposes the creation of a low-power network, smart devices, and cloud computing-based fall detection system for senior individuals in indoor spaces as part of this study. 10 volunteers volunteered to have their fall and non-fall movement data collected using a wireless telemetry surface electromyography capture system. Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) models use the effective signal segments as input. Notifications are automatically sent to caregivers of the elderly if a fall is detected, and an alert is triggered. As the final step, the system offers cloud-based services. There is a service that allows healthcare professionals to obtain the fall data for further examination from a medical standpoint. In experiments, fall detection has been found to be highly accurate, precise, and recallable. © 2022 IEEE.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) plays an imperative role in the clinical diagnosis of heart disease and heart abnormalities. In order to obtain the original ECG signal morphology, the wavelet threshold technique is usually used for ECG signal de-noising, in which threshold function and thresholds play very important role. In this paper, an improved threshold function with adjustable shape parameter was structured to improve the problems of the constant deviation in soft threshold function and the discontinuousness in hard threshold function. And then, an optimization strategy based on artificial bee colony algorithm with mean square error (MSE) as the objective function is embedded into the process of de-noising to quickly determine the optimal shape parameter and thresholds. Subsequently, a series of the simulation experiment are carried out by using two benchmark signals and real ECG signal with different noise levels. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the MSE after de-noising are used as evaluation index of the proposed method. The evaluation results demonstrate that the improved threshold function shows a better performance than the traditional threshold functions under different noise levels, and the proposed method is effective for the selections of the optimal shape parameter and thresholds in ECG signal de-noising. © VDE VERLAG GMBH - Berlin - Offenbach.

In recent years, due to the development of Internet technology, more and more people begin to connect their daily life with Internet technology. Due to its intelligence, simple operation and daily characteristics, wearable devices have gradually entered the public's vision and been accepted by the public. More and more wearable devices appear with a variety of supporting software. This thesis explores how these software use different middleware for different functions, design the UI interface to make people easy to use and use different ways to protect user privacy. To analyse the advantages and disadvantages of the existing software products of wearable devices and propose changes and improvements for future software development, firstly find out some existing wearable device software, and analyse its data processing, functions, adopted protocols, user privacy management, and other aspects. Secondly, through searching corresponding thesis and questionnaires, finds users' dissatisfaction with existing wearable devices. Finally, based on the feedback of users, the data processing, privacy protection and other functions of the existing wearable device software are summarized, and the corresponding direction for the future improvement of wearable devices is put forward. © 2023 SPIE.

The past few decades have seen rapid development in the Internet of Things (IoT) field. IoT makes everyday devices smart by enabling sensing, processing and transmission capabilities. Contradicting the standard internet applications that use HTTP for data transmission, IoT applications use devices with limited processing power, memory capacity and low resource consumption. Hence, HTTP is insufficient and specialized communication protocols are required for IoT applications. Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is a prominent and widely used protocol in IoT environments. MQTT protocol does not prioritize incoming messages. MQTT broker forwards the incoming messages in the same order as they arrive. In many applications, some messages or messages from specific sources are more critical than others. This paper analyzes the methods proposed in the literature to assign priority to MQTT messages and proposes a novel approach for identifying and processing urgent messages in the MQTT applications. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Many previously trained language models have been included, and the sentiment analysis function has been enhanced. This paper proposes a technique for predicting feelings that includes a supporting phrase explaining the characteristics in the sentence. The first is feature detection, which employs a multi-dimensional model to anticipate all characteristics of a sentence. Sentiment Analysis is a technique for modelling that combines predicted characteristics with the initial phrase. There is often a lack of domain data identified for optimization due to the costly definition of the word element. Many approaches to transmit common information in an uncontrolled manner have lately been suggested to overcome this challenge, however such systems have too many modules and need pre-processing of many costly categories. The strategy proposed in this study is basic yet effective. It focused on improving integrated data, which may be used as a part of the development of any sort of cross-platform model. © 2022 IEEE.
