At ultrahigh frequencies (microwave), the signal from the analog sensor in the analog-To-digital control and monitoring systems is entered according to the well-known scheme of series connection of an input microwave transformer (IMT) and an ADC. In this case, the IMT becomes an integral part of the *** article shows that the dynamic error, determined by the information delay in these two devices, is added to the static error and actually reduces the ADC number of bits. This decrease can be estimated by the effective number of bits determined by the delay time and the required sampling rate of the input signal. To estimate the delay value in such a way, the analysis of the processes in the ADC input microwave transformer has been carried out. In this case, the dynamic aliasing error, which occurs during the time sampling of the input signals in the microwave ADC, is taken into *** analysis of the results obtained on the example of microwave ADC AD9208 shows that the dynamic errors of the IT have a significant effect on the value of the effective number of bits of the ADC. © 2022 IEEE.

Sets-Of-Real-Numbers (SORN) Arithmetic derives from the type-II unums and realizes a low-complexity and low-precision digital number format. The interval-based SORNs are especially well-suited for preprocessing large datasets or replacing particular parts of threshold-based algorithms, in order to achieve a significant reduction of runtime, complexity and/or power consumption for the respective circuit. In this work, the advantages and challenges of SORN arithmetic are evaluated and discussed for a SORN-based edge detection algorithm for image processing. In particular, different SORN implementations of the Sobel Operator for edge filtering are presented, consisting of matrix convolution and a hypot function. The implemented designs are evaluated for different algorithmic and hardware performance measures. Comparisons to a reference Integer implementation show promising results towards a lower error w.r.t. ground truth solutions for the SORN implementation. Syntheses for FPGA and CMOS target platforms show a reduction of area utilization and power consumption of up to 68% and 80%, respectively.

As an extension of the traveling salesman problem, the multi-traveling salesman problem is also a typical NP hard problem, but it has wider practical significance. In the past, most of the research on solving the multi-travel salesman problem was limited to the minimum sum of all travel salesman paths as the optimization standard. In this paper, based on the constraints of the minimum travel quotient, the path balance among travel agents, and the time window traversing the city, a mathematical model was established to optimize the multi-travel salesman path using the improved simulated annealing algorithm. The feasibility of the algorithm is verified by a simulation example, and it meets the requirements of real-time performance. © 2022 IEEE.

Paraphrase generation is a widely known and complex task in the field of Natural Language processing (NLP). With a variety of paraphrasing models, many researchers have developed their own methodology to overcome this task with better efficiency and quality paraphrases. In this paper, Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (T5) and Back-Translation guided multi-round Paraphrase Generation (BTmPG), two popular algorithms in paraphrasing models, are compared. Paired paraphrased sentences are used to train both models. The goal of paraphrasing models is to generate paraphrases with a high degree of semantic similarity and the fewest possible grammatical errors and sentence structure copying. For the purpose of paraphrase generation, both the T5 and BTmPG models have been optimized. This study aims to compare the performance of the T5 and BTmPG models and identify factors that have a significant influence on output quality. The accuracy and precision of the T5 and BTmPG models' paraphrase quality are calculated using BLEU and ROUGE1. Despite requiring more time for training, the T5 model outperformed the BTmPG model slightly, according to the results. Despite having a smaller dataset size, the MRPC dataset was found to be more efficient than the QQP dataset. With proper grammar and lexicality, both models produced results that were satisfactory. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents a ballistocardiogram (BCG) classification method based on 1-D convolution neural networks (CNNs), which provides an auxiliary basis for clinical diagnosis, especially in the monitoring of cardiac function in the elderly. Four categories of BCG signals are used as input of 1-D CNN. By moving the convolution kernel on the time axis, the temporal variability of BCG signals can be better satisfied while retaining the frequency band correlation. Then they were sent to the multi-layer sensor, after that the features processed by softmax classifier were classified. We obtained an accuracy of 93.39%, of which the H class is 95.36%, the C class is 86.19%, the D class is 95.31%, and the Y class is 96.57%. Compared with the existing research results, the proposed method achieves a superior classification performance. This method is simple, fast and highly generic, which can serve as a reliable adjunct tool for the daily diagnosis of heart disease in the elderly. © 2022 SPIE.

Industry 4.0 tools permit computerized creation measures, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches are pivotal in investigating the travel industry. Applying these devices to decipher User Generated Content (UGC) is fundamental to understand better client's necessities, opinions, and assumptions regarding tourism services. Through this research, an exploratory analysis of results is developed through Machine Learning Models to understand better the role played by robot and traveler typologies on the rating given to hotels considering TripAdvisor reviews of 74 hotels. The purpose of this exploratory research is to develop a methodology focused on analyzing online reviews related to service robots in hotels using Machine Learning techniques to train the data collected from TripAdvisor. Crack is one of the most important surfaces damage to monuments, concrete structures, buildings, and roads. Manually examining damage is time- and labor-intensive. Crack irregularity measurements are challenging and need more expertise. Thus, develop automatic crack detection using the image processing method. This article reveals the various strategies to distinguish the crack length, width, and depth utilizing different automatic crack detection methods. In this, 53 papers describe the detection of cracks and other decay measurements. The investigation is given on the survey and dependent on the Infrared Thermography method, Ultrasonic imaging, and Image processing. The main aim of this paper is to summarize and compare the few strategies used in various Non-Destructive Techniques. Detection of the crack using Deep Learning achieves with maximum accuracy of 98%. Finally, we represent different issues that can be valuable for inquiring about to achieve further investigation on this detection. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Maize is one of the largest food crops after rice and wheat in all over the world. However it has become a vital part in the agriculture to automatically monitor and diagnosis the plant disease in new era. In this paper, a unique maize plant disease identification system has been modelled using the optimization of recurrent neural network through bacterial foraging technique. Further it can be employed to moderate the search space of the classifier and provides better initial information for recognition network. Initially pre-processing and region growing based segmentation has been approved to identify and determine the neighbour pixel of seed points toward combining it in particular region. It is to increase the efficiency of the network by searching and grouping of seed points having common attributes to generate the optimal features for classification. Obtained segmented region has been processed using Recurrent Neural Network in order to capture sequential patterns based on longitudinal data to produce recurrent structures. Finally different classes of the plant disease have been classified and identified with new classic techniques. Experimental analysis using plant village dataset on the proposed model explains the performance measure in rudiments of dice coefficient, similarity and specificity towards disease identification. © 2022 IEEE.

To meet the demand of high speed and reliability, the key performance of mobile communication has higher requirements for different application scenarios. According to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project protocol, the 5th generation (5G) mobile communication technology still adopts Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology in spectrum transmission. The wireless channel fading, noise interference and Doppler effect will cause data loss in signal transmission, so the research of synchronization technology has more practical significance for signal transmission in complex environment and limited bandwidth resources. This paper investigates Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) synchronization technology in OFDM, analyzes CFO from time domain and frequency domain, and simulates CFO synchronization technology based on OFDM with MATLAB. The simulation results show that the received signals' signal noise ratio (SNR) of increases, the mean square error (MSE) estimated by CFO decreases, and the MSE estimated by CFO is also different when the phase difference between the two repeat leads is changed. © 2022 IEEE.
