With the rapid development of multimedia technology, images have become the main data form of people's daily communication and information expression. In order to ensure fast data transmission, much effort has been made to compress the three-channel color image into the 2D matrix and then recover the image from the 2D matrix through interpolation algorithms. However, there usually exists different degrees of edge blurring or noise generation when reconstructing images, which significantly affects the accuracy of reconstruction. More importantly, we find that different interpolation algorithms may have drastic performance differences when dealing with different scene images. All of these aspects inspire us to explore the application boundary of interpolation algorithms. In this paper, we compare the representative bilinear interpolation, cok interpolation and Hibbard interpolation from the degree of edge blurring, the amount of noise generated and the processing speed. With extensive experiments, both visual and quantitative analysis shows an interesting but meaningful result. Three algorithms obtain a similar accuracy for the image with a single color or simple lines, while the Hibbard algorithm could restore the most realistic image when the image structure is complex. © 2022 IEEE.

With the growth of digitisation and data gathering, digital information processing and archiving for cultural heritage keeps expanding. This research presents a new approach based on cloud computing for managing the multi types of data related to the cultural heritage of Nineveh's areas. It involves using different virtualisation techniques in the cloud, such as virtual machines and Docker containers. First, data have been collected from a group of multiple miscellaneous repositories (e.g. social media networks, encyclopedias, google maps). It was then cleaned and structured before storage was applied. The results showed the collection of diverse and valuable data about cultural heritage efficiently to implement various queries based on the keywords representing the heritage to obtain all the related data. Our new approach provides a formative reference to preserving techniques for sustainable protection and development of cultural heritage. © 2022 IEEE.

Edge networks are highly volatile and the quality of device communication and computational resources change not only over time but also according to the movement of users. Current federation learning suffers from poor device network state and failure of devices to upload models in a timely manner. To address these problems, an intelligent scheduling mechanism that uses the predicted device state based on device information to select the appropriate device for federated learning is proposed in this paper. By focusing on information such as communication quality, computational resources, and location information, the information of edge devices is collected to analyze and predict the device network and computing resources to further analyze the state of devices in depth. Experiments are conducted on real datasets, and the experimental results show that the proposed scheduling method can make the global model fit faster than without the algorithm, which significantly improves the training efficiency of federated learning. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Aiming at the customs supervision area of the comprehensive bonded area, this paper proposes an intelligent monitoring system based on computer vision through the research of computer vision, photoelectric sensors, digital image processing, data transmission network, automatic control and intelligent video analysis. We have realized the comprehensive supervision of people, vehicles, and things in the park, uploading all collected information to the centralized storage server, realizing uninterrupted data tracking, analysis, alarming, centralized management, unified scheduling, and command of front-end equipment. We have comprehensively improved the level of supervision of the comprehensive bonded area, provided the most intuitive information for emergency response, and performed the best response to emergencies according to the emergency plan to build a more intelligent comprehensive bonded area. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Wireless sensor network is deployed in an unreachable place for humans. There are significant problems in WSN to transfer data from source node to destination node. Reliable data transfer is one of the most important aspects. Nodes that having low energy signal while transmitting the data to the neighbor node and if it does not reach the destination because of low energy then these nodes will consider as faulty nodes. There is a need for protocol or algorithm which can help to solve faulty node issues and provides high reliability. End to End reliability is essential to recognize the reliable,effective shortest path from source to destination nodes. Since nodes will not recognize the shortest paths time taken is more to transfer data from source node to destination node. The proposed research work utilizes Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) to check and identify the shortest path. The Shortest path will be identified by sending dummy data by using ACO. It will also help to check the effect of failed link and how it retrieves when there is a failure of link. With the help of ACO Fault tolerance can also be presented. With the help of this process data loss can be reduced and provide reliable transfer of data packets. To improve the lifetime of the network and to avoid data loss whole data will be converted into multiple packets. The parameters in the proposed work are transmission rate,data loss efficiency,energy level. © 2022 IEEE.

Wearing a mask is an effective way to prevent the spread of disease, especially in crowded public areas, and it is essential to keep track of how well people are wearing masks. It would be very costly to dispatch people to monitor the wearing of masks. This paper takes advantage of the development of computer vision technology in image recognition to apply image recognition technology to mask detection to monitor the wearing of masks automatically and accurately. It is building a mask detection model based on YOLOv4-tiny and quantifying them at a high level of accuracy. The model is converted to Tensorflow Lite format and then installed on the Android device. It realises the accuracy and real-time of mask-wearing detection, enhances the system's ease of use and portability, and has important practical promotion value. © 2022 Association for Computing Machinery. Due to an exponential increase in the use of Internet by persons from different countries and educational backgrounds, the offensive online language detection has become a significant task facing natural language processing. Considering the major negative impact of this type of content in the case of youngers, detecting online toxic language to protect users' online safety becomes an urgent issue. The project has two main goals: (1) developing an annotated corpus of offensive content for Romanian language and (2) testing various machine learning algorithms to identify a best approach. In day-to-day life, cancer is becoming a very common reason for human death throughout the world. But we can save the life of a person if we detect it at a very early stage. The survival rate for cancer patients increases up to 40 to 50 percent if it gets detected at the earliest possible. A physical test is not only time consuming but also incurs huge cost to the patients. Therefore, the investigation through the software proves to be the most convenient way to get this process done. In this study, we have used pre-processing, image extraction, and image enhancement to considered image samples. We aim to detect cancer in different parts of the body by checking CT scans and MRI scan images. A non-linear filter, the median filter are employed for eliminating the noise from the raw photos in this investigation. Once the image is filtered from noise, the contrast stretching approach is applied, which simply increases the image's contrast. This allows clinicians to quickly detect the existence of cancer on considered patient's body. The performance evaluation of proposed method is done against the Clah filters based on number of criteria to prove its supremacy. © 2022 IEEE.

Over the past ten years, technological development has accelerated. It has attained human-like performance in various tasks involving natural language processing. Numerous studies are being undertaken in this area, and natural language programming tools have been developed (which take natural language description and generates source code). By utilizing natural language programming, communicating with machines can be possible without grasping the syntax of each programming language individually. Several tools have been developed with features such as code completion, the generation of brief code samples, and code suggestions. This paper presents a method capable of generating source code from a natural language description. In this work, transformer-based language model is employed and trained it with the PHP dataset collected from multiple platforms. Thus, the model can generate PHP code using natural language. PHP is a common server-side scripting language. PHP is used by 77.4% of all websites, according to a W3Tech research. Moreover, the model has been tested on various problems, and the results are rather encouraging. The model is able to achieve 85% accuracy, while tested on 40 sample problems. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.
