The article presents a novel approach to collecting and transmitting data across large distances without relying on an internet connection for additional processing. This is accomplished by using a custom ESP32 microcontroller and sensors, capable of reliably detecting fire in forests and farms while maintaining low power consumption. By designing a low-cost and low-power device, the system enables users to deploy sender units that can collect and send data over an extended period without needing maintenance. The system utilizes the LoRa Network to facilitate data transmission, making it feasible to deploy these units in rural areas without internet service. The presented solution showcases the potential of the ESP32 microcontroller platform for collecting and transmitting data over long distances with minimal power consumption. © 2023 IEEE.

The detection of speed and traffic flow is one of the important issues in the current smart city construction and intelligent transportation development process. The automatic detection of speed and traffic flow through video information in road traffic is conducive to optimising road traffic and transport management, strengthening urban management and improving the efficiency of urban transport and services. Therefore, the study of vehicle speed and traffic flow detection systems is of great practical value. To address the issue of urban road transport management, an improved YOLOv7-based vehicle speed and traffic flow detection system was designed and implemented based on traffic video data, and the system was validated and analysed based on the video data. © 2023 The Authors.

People or organizations acting in their own or other people's best interests may produce fake news. Misinformation is typically produced with personal, political, or economic objectives in mind. Fake news is mainly known as one of the most severe dangers to worldwide commerce, and journalism with significant dependent team. To detect the fake news, many approaches are used. The proposed model used machine learning (ML) for exploiting the multi-domain visual data information in identification of fake news. In this work, an application considered to predict whether an image or video has been manipulated or not. And also, OCR is used for identifying the text on image and model will forecast outcome. The present system, used machine learning techniques like Naïve Bayes and support vector machine to predict the fake news. The present system achieved 97% accuracy to forecast model outcome. © 2023 IEEE.

Intelligent gateway of power distribution is the key equipment of power distribution Internet of Things. Different from the traditional power distribution terminal which only has powerful data collection function and the Internet of Things gateway which only has communication function, it is a new intelligent device which integrates acquisition, communication and local computing. However, the existing testing research of intelligent gateway and intelligent terminal cannot meet the needs of mass testing of intelligent gateway, so this paper will carry out research on mass testing technology of intelligent gateway. The architecture design of the detection system, the design principle of hardware and software, as well as the implementation of key technologies are described. Moreover, a set of automatic test platform of intelligent gateway is built. Its feasibility, effectiveness and reliability are verified by test application examples, which help control the network access quality of intelligent gateway and support the promotion and application of the power distribution Internet of things. © 2023 IEEE.

system log analysis is one of the most important ways to defend attacks and avoid system exceptions. However, rule-based log anomaly detection cannot meet the requirements of complex systems. Log anomaly detection methods based on machine learning and deep learning have gradually become a research hotspot. However, for some complex mobile devices, such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and intelligent vehicles, log monitoring systems based on complex deep learning or machine learning could be with high power consumption in local anomaly detection. It is an urgent problem to be solved for such energy limited devices. In recent years, brain-like intelligence based on spiking neural networks (SNN) has been proved to have the potential for accurate detection with low power consumption. In this study, we proposed a log anomaly detection method based on SNN, called Log-SNN. This method parsed and converted text logs into embedding vectors with template and parameter information. Then, an SNN model based on backpropagation (BP) training (SNN-BP) was used to detect the log information. We evaluated the proposed method on three commonly used log anomaly datasets and proved the proposed method has higher accuracy than machine learning and deep learning algorithms. The algorithm has high inference speed and low power consumption. The Log-SNN proposed in this study provides an accurate, high-speed, and low-power feasible solution for local log anomaly detection of mobile devices. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of low detection accuracy and inaccurate defect location of PCB defects in conventional detection algorithms, an improved YOLOv5s PCB defect detection algorithm is proposed by studying PCB defect detection algorithms. Firstly, the loss function is optimized, and the original regression loss calculation method is changed from GIOU to EIOU, so as to accelerate the convergence speed of the model and improve the positioning accuracy of the frame, and the confidence loss balance coefficient is adaptively adjusted to improve the training effect of the model. Secondly, the attention mechanism of ECANet is introduced to improve the saliency and feature expression ability of PCB defect target area, and to enhance the extraction of small target defect detail information which is difficult to detect. Finally, in order to further verify the effectiveness and rationality of the improved YOLOv5s algorithm, ablation experiments are used for comparative analysis. The experimental results show that the improved YOLOv5s algorithm improves the detection accuracy (mAP) to 96.80%, which meets the requirements of PCB defect detection. © 2023 IEEE.

Object detection in videos is more challenging than in static images. It's proved that naively applying object detector frame by frame can be slow and inaccurate - visual clues can get weakened by defocus and motion blur, causing failure on corresponding frames. Multi-frame feature fusion methods proved effective in improving the accuracy, but they largely sacrifice the speed. Feature propagation methods proved effective in improving the speed, at the cost of lower accuracy. So is it possible to improve speed and performance at once?Inspired by how human utilize impression to recognize objects from blurry frames, we propose Impression Network that embodies a natural and efficient feature aggregation mechanism. In our framework, an impression feature is established by iteratively absorbing sparsely extracted frame features. The impression feature is propagated all the way down the video, enhancing features of low-quality frames. This impression mechanism makes it possible to perform long-range multi-frame feature fusion among sparse keyframes with minimum overhead. We demonstrate that Impression Network is significantly more accurate than per-frame detection baseline on ImageNet VID, while being 3 times faster (20 fps). © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of e-commerce, data security issues on e-commerce platforms have become more and more prominent, and anomalous transactions and fraudulent behaviors have brought great challenges to the stable operation of the platform. Traditional anomaly detection methods often show certain limitations when dealing with complex and largescale data. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an e-commerce data anomaly detection method based on variational autoencoder (VAE). VAE is able to effectively extract features and identify anomalous data by learning the potential distribution of the data. In terms of model design, this paper introduces an adaptive threshold adjustment mechanism, combined with a lightweight classification network, which improves the detection accuracy and robustness of different types of anomalies. Experimental results show that this paper's method outperforms traditional methods in several performance indicators, especially in key indicators such as precision rate, recall rate, F1 score and ROC-AUC. The method in this paper not only helps to improve the security of e-commerce platforms, but also provides a reference for anomaly detection in other fields. © 2024 IEEE.

Based on the computer information technology of the smart grid, an online detection method of a transformer fault is proposed. The relay protection operation and maintenance technology is used for on-line monitoring of transformer status. Each device status sampling unit is combined with the IEC61850-9 protocol interface and then the transformer operating status is estimated in different transformer *** fault detection function is constructed according to the estimated status to detect sudden faults online. Analyze and propose maintenance plan using relay protection operation and maintenance technology, combine each equipment unit with the IEC61850-9 protocol interface, and analyze the main maintenance work, operation and maintenance items, and overhaul measures of equipment. The simulation results show that this method can detect sudden and potential faults that lead to changes in transformer winding parameters. © 2023 IEEE.
