Agriculture is a vital industry for economic growth, but inefficient irrigation techniques can waste a lot of water. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology integration in irrigation systems has been suggested as a viable remedy to this problem. This study describes a system that automates irrigation and only waters crops when necessary depending on climate and soil moisture conditions. The system incorporates data on soil moisture, AI, and the Internet of Things (IoT). During testing in a controlled environment, this integrated strategy demonstrated promising results with an accuracy rate of 80%. However, it is crucial to take into account how readily available and inexpensive such technologies are for all farmers, especially those in underdeveloped nations where the agricultural industry is dominated by informal labor. AI technology integration in irrigation systems can increase agricultural output and efficiency while lowering water waste. To make sure that such technologies are available and advantageous for all farmers, it is vital to take into account the socioeconomic environment and potential adoption barriers. The feasibility and scalability of deploying such systems on a bigger scale could be the subject of future research. © 2023 IEEE.

Cyberbullying takes place online on gadgets like smartphones and computers. Cyberbullying can occur through social media platforms. This paper presents a real-time cyber-bullying detection system for Twitter using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML). The system is trained on a dataset of cyberbullying tweets using several ML algorithms and their performance is compared. Random Forest was found to provide the best results after tuning. To achieve real-time analysis, Selenium was used to scrape tweets from a given Twitter account and store the timestamp of the already checked tweets. Additionally, an image captioning model was employed to generate descriptions for images posted on the account and compare them with user-written captions to filter out spam tweets. The proposed work aims to prevent cyberbullying and provides a valuable tool for online platforms to detect and remove harmful content. The results of this study have shown that the selection of appropriate ML algorithms and preprocessing techniques significantly impact the performance of cyberbullying detection on Twitter. Our model sheds light on the appropriateness of different ML algorithms for the detection of cyberbullying. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the complexity and difficulty of millimeter wave radar target detection algorithm, SYS/BIOS is used to design and implement the algorithm. Due to the large amount of computation and tasks, the algorithm of millimeter wave radar target detection is implemented by SYS/BIOS embedded operating system, rather than developing based on bare computer. The operating system is modular, so it is convenient to manage and develop programs, and effectively solves the difficult problem of millimeter wave radar target detection algorithm. The feasibility of the algorithm is proved by practical experiment.

Complex environments, such as dense personnel and background interference, affect the detection accuracy of whether personnel wear helmets. To solve this problem, a new detection algorithm for helmets based on YOLOv5 is studied in this paper. Firstly, RepVGGblock is used to replace the common convolution in the network to effectively utilize the computing power of GPU. Secondly, the efficient channel attention mechanism is incorporated into the C3 module of the backbone network to enhance the feature identification ability of the backbone network for the hard hat. Then, the boundary box regression function is changed to SIoU to redefine the distance loss and improve the regression accuracy. Finally, the detection performance of multi-scale targets is improved by adding detection layers. The test results on the self-made safety helmet data set show that the average accuracy of the improved YOLOv5 model reaches 94.6%, which is 4.1% higher than that of the original model, and can meet the requirements of target detection. © 2023 SPIE.

As a key control component of wind turbines, the failure of pitch system has become one of the main reasons for unit shutdown. Therefore, reducing the failure rate of the pitch system is very important for the stable operation and safety of the unit. In order to extract the fault characteristics in the fault data of the wind turbine pitch system more effectively, a multi-information fusion fault diagnosis model based on dynamic convolutional neural network - CBAM-BiLSTM model is proposed. Based on the BiLSTM network used to extract the timing fault features, a spatial attention CBAM module is introduced, and the fault features of the wind turbine pitch system at the spatial scale are extracted by dynamic convolution. Due to the small volume, fast calculation speed and high accuracy of dynamic convolution, the fault diagnosis speed and accuracy of this model are also improved. © 2023 IEEE.

The goal of the research is to assist farmers in early plant disease detection utilizing an autonomous mobile robotic device. Through an Android mobile app, the robot compares and recognizes particular diseases using machine learning algorithms. Using a line follower mechanism and GPS coordinates, the automation system enables the robot to move along specified lines in the agricultural field. The motor control unit regulates the robot's speed. A Raspberry Pi microcontroller, which also makes picture capturing and cloud storage monitoring possible, is used to integrate the components. The app that will display the discovered ailment is created using Android Studio once the robot's path tracking is implemented using MATLAB coding © 2023 IEEE.
