In recent years, due to the impact of the COVID-19, most people work from home and study online, resulting in a surge in internet traffic. At the same time, cyber attacks are occurring more frequently. As the second firewall of the system, intrusion detection system can help users discover security threats in time and take corresponding measures through network data monitoring and various alarm mechanisms. To improve the intrusion detection system, a proposal has been made to optimize back propagation neural network using the sparrow search algorithm. This model uses Min-Max scaling and Borderline SMOTE oversampling algorithm to preprocess data, and uses tent map to initialize the population of sparrow search algorithm. Finally, compared with other traditional machine learning models, we choose recall as the core indicator, precision as the secondary indicator, and f1-score as the auxiliary indicator. Experimental results indicate that our model exhibits an improved recall and f1-score, indicating that our model exhibits superior performance in intrusion detection. © 2023 IEEE.

Intrusion detection systems, which inspect and analyze network data for signs of hostile activity, are critical to computer network security. These systems are suggested to distinguish and respond to not permitted access, misuse, and other confidence consequences that could concession the concealment, veracity, and accessibility of network resources. In this research, we give an overview of intrusion detection employed in computer networks, including their classification, architecture, and detection methods. The structure intends to detect both recognized-notorious intrusions and attacks with better detection accuracy and lesser untruthful-probability measures. We look at the challenges of setting up and maintaining IDS with their importance in distinguishing various categories of network infringements. This study indicates that intrusion detection systems are an important part of contemporary network protection and are frequently used in many organizations to defend against cyber-attacks. Voting method to identify the intrusion detection systems representing the best performance scores on the dataset. The performance parameter (accuracy, F1_score, precision, and recall) values of the voting model are 0.998015, 0.998015, 0.998016 and 0.998015. © 2023 IEEE.

At present, the video stream processing technology based on edge analysis in substations has the problem that the video streams of substations and patrol centers with different voltage levels cannot be interconnected. The SIP protocol based on the GB/T 28181 and Q/GDW 10517 specifications can realize the unified implementation of video stream related processing control commands from different sources, realize the unification of video stream format. First of all, the control commands in the GB/T 28181 specification, such as video stream registration, real-time audio and video on demand, device information query, language playback and voice intercom, are implemented uniformly using the methods in the SIP protocol. Then, develop a unified access platform system for video stream to realize the unified access of video devices such as GB and B-Interface. Finally, through the distributed deployment of the unified access platform for video streams, cascade multiple substations or inspection centers to realize the continuous transmission of video streams between platforms. © 2023 IEEE.

A review is presented of work on the history of radar development, explaining the current high degree of interest in a more advanced radar detection platform (i.e., a networked radar system). Importantly, the advantages of the proposed networked radar detection system in this paper are also summarized in comparison with the existing multistatic radar system and netted radar system. Moreover, the characteristics of the networked radar detection system with high-speed and high-capacity communication networks are exploited in detail. More specifically, the concept of a radar node as the basic unit of a networked radar system and radar nodes deployment strategies for different detection scenarios are developed for further research. Most importantly, the prior art on the widespread variants in military and civilian fields with respect to the networked radar system are also discussed and investigated in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, an image recognition model based on YOLOv5 and ResNet50 is proposed for the design of image recognition system of fruit picking robot. We first used YOLOv5 to identify and estimate the quantity, location, maturity, and quality of apples, and then used Resnet50-based deep learning models for further classification. Through in-depth analysis and processing of apple image data sets, our model can accurately identify apples, estimate the quantity and quality of apples, and effectively classify the maturity of apples. © 2023 IEEE.

In the automatic production line of a motor, after the commutator has been turned and other processes, there may be copper chips and other foreign objects falling into the insulation slot to affect the performance of the motor. This paper adopts machine vision technology to automatically detect foreign objects in the commutator insulation slot and designs a commutator column surface foreign object detection system based on the improved YOLOv5. The composite illumination design with multiple light source combinations is used on the illumination system to collect pictures with obvious features in the insulation slot. The detection algorithm uses a PP-LCNet lightweight network to replace the backbone structure in the YOLOv5 network, introduces the SE module at the end of the network, and replaces the Relu activation function with the H-Swish activation function to speed up the detection speed. The experimental results show that the improved YOLOv5 algorithm reduces 54 misjudgments of qualified products per day compared with the traditional image recognition algorithm, and the correct recognition rate reaches 97.54%;the single inspection time is reduced by 66.29% compared with the YOLOv5 algorithm, which meets the accuracy and speed requirements of realtime inspection in automated production. © 2023 IEEE.

Local discharge detection is an important technology used to evaluate the state of electrical equipment. It can realize early fault diagnosis, accident prevention, life extension and operation efficiency improvement of electrical equipment, provide scientific basis for equipment management and maintenance, and ensure the safe and stable operation of power system. The office release detection is realized by using the office release sensor, which is the core component of the office release detection, and plays the role of collecting, transmitting and transforming the office release signal, providing the necessary data basis for the office release detection. In this paper, the common detection technology and the local discharge sensor are introduced, and the failure mechanism of the local discharge sensor is studied by establishing the failure physical model of the local discharge sensor and simulating the stress environment. The 3D model of F-P sensor in transformer oil was established by ANSYS finite element simulation software and verified by simulation. The influence of liquid insulating dielectric on the characteristic parameters of partial discharge detection was analyzed. ©2023 IEEE.

In autonomous driving scenarios, lidar-based object detectors are widely used in 3D object detection. For the sake of safety redundancy, some self-driving vehicles will be equipped with multiple lidars with different beams, but training multiple lidar-based object detectors requires high costs. In our experiments, the performance of a lidar-based detector model trained on a high-beam lidar domain drops dramatically when transferred to a low-beam lidar domain. At present, there is no public 3D object detection dataset across-lidar-beams domains. In this paper, a 3D object detection dataset adapted across-lidar-beams domain is produced by the LGSVL simulator. The reason for the performance degradation of the lidar-based detectors across lidar-beams domains are mainly due to the large gap in the foreground object point count. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a semantic point generation method based on masked autoencoders, which can bridge the data gap between lidar beam-induced domains by generating more foreground semantic points so as to realize the migration of the detector model. In addition to solving the problem of lidar beam-induced domains migration, SP-MAE can also improve the performance of 3D lidar-based detectors. Experiments showed that the PVRCNN detector can improve 5.11 3D AP of pedestrian on the KITTI dataset after using SP-MAE. © 2023 IEEE.

We observe representative information of large, medium objects and the vast background overwhelm that of small objects, which leads to poor performance of small object detection. To this end, a new module has been proposed in this paper, named Background and Foreground Attention Maps(BFAM) module, composing of three sub-modules: segmentation, background and foreground attention sub-modules. The segmentation maps positions which have the top strong semantic information in the deep layer of the backbone to the bottom layer maintaining more small object details and mask them to obtain background map and foreground map. Apply two tailored attention sub-modules on them respectively and then fuse them with different weights to detect final results. Experiments demonstrate BFAM achieves promising gains in small object detection on PASCAL VOC 2012 and Seaship datasets. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to quickly and accurately detect the moisture content of coal and realize online non-destructive testing. An on-line measurement system of coal moisture content based on the principle of microwave transmission is designed. The measurement principle is introduced emphatically, and a method for quickly detecting the moisture content of coal by detecting the voltage signal is proposed. Different fitting models between decay voltage and water content were established, and the best calibration equation was determined by comparing different fitting models. On this basis, a coal moisture detection device applied to the conveyor belt was developed. The device consists of a 10GHz microwave signal source, a horn antenna, a detector, a single-chip microcomputer, an electric conveyor belt machine and a sample holder. Finally, coals with different moisture contents were evaluated experimentally. The results show that the measurement accuracy and deviation of the system are within the acceptable range. © 2023 IEEE.
