In brief, the SARS-CoV-2 family of viruses is responsible for causing COVID-19 sickness. Six of the seven continents (Antarctica excepted) have seen this illness spread at an exponential pace. When it originally emerged, it wreaked havoc on numerous industries, including the consumer products market. The pandemic has created a new chapter in the age of technology. The COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on India's manufacturing sector. Changing the typical business structure is necessary to adapt to modern business ***, organisational structure, and productivity are only few of the areas that have undergone changes because of digitalization. Smarter integration of cutting-edge tools, procedures, and expertise has also contributed to this sea change. To create value for many different types of stakeholders and to learn how to swiftly adjust to new circumstances, technology is utilised in tandem with technological *** a result of digitalization, there is no longer a need for intermediaries in the marketing and promotion of goods and services to consumers. Because of the global reach of COVID-19 and the resulting social distancing it produces, many businesses are feeling its effects. Many industries and companies will feel the effects of increased social distance. That isA well-established strategy for technological evolution is provided. The effects of social isolation on shopping habits and standards cannot be overstated. Research is being conducted to learn how the COVID-19 tragedy will affect consumers' propensity to make purchases. Consumers are shifting away from the conventional methods of making purchases by using online resources and strategies. According to studies, the internet advertising paradigm has entered our graphical depiction of the best ways to comprehend advertising strategies from successful companies. © 2023 IEEE.

Electrocardiographic (ECG) signals are analyzed for heart rate variability before and after the computer process had been introduced. Relevant ECG data and its storage are compared with live or patient data as well as with synthetic data are termed as invasive and non-invasive techniques. As the techniques determine the heart morphology and its related functionality in-turn predicts the normal/abnormal behavior of the heart, requires filtering when ECG Signal is preprocessed. During measurement, factors such as Patient conditions and their ignorance/fear, power line interference, instrumentation defects are some of the major known reasons for the occurrence of the noisy ECG Signal. The above disturbance creates harmonics in the spectrum of quasi nature ECG signal. In this study, ECG signal is analyzed with reference to patient resting condition, under stress and ambulatory recordings to determine Baseline wandering (BLW) or the low frequency noise associated with source signal. Low frequency noise such as Baseline wandering can disrupt or mask some wave amplitude and duration of the ECG signal. Conditions such as live movement of the patient, inhale and exhale activity of the lungs, and inter connection between the electrodes and skin cause baseline wandering of the ECG signal. This study includes an implementation and evaluation of methods to remove this noise, using fixed/adaptive filters in time and frequency domain. © 2023 IEEE.

This study reports the implementation of a hybrid CMOS-based 1-bit full adder (FA) circuit. The need for noise robustness, better drivability and low-energy operation for deep submicron encourage the examination of the hybrid design style. Hybrid CMOS design techniques are utilized to propose new full-featured adders with the desired performance. Module I (XOR-XNOR) generates the XOR-XNOR output simultaneously. Module II and Module III are implemented using the PTL and TG logic. In this work, 16 nm FinFET technology is used to implement a novel design of hybrid FA. The proposed design shows 29.37–71.90% and 38.96–81.56% improvement in power consumption and PDP, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

This paper uses remote sensing data to explore land surface temperature (LST) fluctuations. We employ advanced techniques, including data preprocessing, LST retrieval, and validation. Our analysis uncovers temporal and spatial patterns, identifies hotspots, and correlates LST fluctuations with environmental factors. Comparative evaluations demonstrate the accuracy of various retrieval methods while considering limitations. Our findings emphasize the impact of LST fluctuations on ecosystems and urban planning, contributing to climate change adaptation. This research underscores the pivotal role of remote sensing in understanding and mitigating temperature variability. © 2023 IEEE.

Optimization of system losses and quality power is still a major concern for many researchers. DG, i.e., Distributed Generation is a newly developed effective technology, when placed optimally in power system helps in raising overall efficiency and quality of power by minimizing distribution losses. This paper presents a methodology based on quasi-oppositional whale optimization algorithm (QOWOA) to locate DG with appropriate size in distribution system for reducing losses along with minimization of voltage deviance and enhancement of voltage stability index. The above-mentioned methodology is tested on three different test systems consisting of 33, 69 and 118 buses. The computer simulation results obtained using projected methodology is compared with the earlier optimization techniques proposed by various author. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.

The Internet of Things (IoT) and other mobile services stand to benefit greatly from the deployment of 5G networks as an enabling infrastructure. However, 5G networks confront several challenges, the most significant of which is the huge volumes of data created by these networks, data security, and privacy concerns. A possible strategy for resolving these challenges in 5G networks is referred to as Federated Learning (FL). However, the accuracy of the predictive models is critically important. In this paper, we propose a 5G traffic forecasting approach using federated learning. Our approach leverages the benefits of FL to enable accurate traffic forecasting in a 5G network while preserving user privacy. We evaluate the performance of our proposed approach on a real-world dataset and compare it with traditional traffic forecasting methods. The results show that our approach outperforms traditional methods in terms of prediction accuracy and efficiency. The use of FL makes it possible to train models using data that is dispersed over several devices or places while still protecting the confidentiality and integrity of the data. Our proposed model is highly accurate for 5G traffic forecasting against State of art approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

As cloud technologies are used more frequently, network intrusion detection systems are becoming increasingly well-liked. Due to ever-increasing network traffic and the regular emergence of new types of assaults, Network Intrusion Detection (NIDS) came into existence as a key aspect of network security and must be extremely effective. These kind of IDS systems employ either an anomaly detection system based on machine learning or a system for matching patterns. The False Positive Rate for pattern matching approaches is high, but AI/ML-based systems determine the possibility of an attack by identifying a metric or characteristic or a connection between a number of metrics or characteristics. The most popular models include KNN, SVM, and others, they only work on a small range of traits, are not very accurate, and have a high False Positive Rate. This study created a deep learning system to learn the temporal and spatial data properties using the advantages of CNN and Bidirectional LSTM. The system present in this paper is trained and analyzed using the openly available dataset NSL-KDD. The proposed model has a high rate of detection and a low incidence of false positives. A lot of cutting-edge Network Intrusion Detection systems that use Machine Learning/Deep Learning models perform better than the suggested model. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the principle of ultrasonic temperature measurement, this paper designs the structure of a waveguide rod sensor with a reflective groove. Using multi-physics field simulation software to conduct acoustic thermal coupling parametric simulation analysis on six different high melting point materials, we obtain the curve functions of the relationship between sound velocity and temperature for the six materials and verify the feasibility of ultrasonic temperature measurement using waveguide rods. Analysis shows that the sensitivity of six alloys to temperature changes is as follows: Ti6Al4V titanium alloy > α-Al2O3 > Inconel693 nickel-based alloy > ThO2 > Tungsten-rhenium alloy > Ta8W2Hf. At the same time, three different shapes of waveguide rods were designed: single groove waveguide rod, multi-zone waveguide rod, and spiral waveguide rod to analyze the impact of temperature measurement accuracy. The research results have important theoretical guidance significance for solving the problem of temperature measurement in high-Temperature environments. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This examination unique spotlights on the relationship between ownership structure and company execution, which has been a subject of interest for the two specialists and professionals. The literature review highlights several studies that have examined this relationship in different contexts. Overall, the literature suggests that ownership concentration positively impacts firm performance, while state ownership has a negative effect. Additionally, the effectiveness of ownership structure depends on the context, mechanisms, and outcomes of corporate governance, and is influenced by institutional factors such as legal systems, financial markets, and cultural norms. These findings have significant design implications, and implementation of ownership structures in companies, as well as for policy- makers who seek to promote efficient and effective corporate governance. Recent research has shown that ownership structures can significantly impact the corporate performance of a company. Social Network Analysis (SNA) has emerged as a powerful tool for examining the relationships between shareholders and their influence on decision-making processes within a company. This paper proposes a research model that uses SNA to analyze ownership structures and their impact on corporate performance. The model will test the hypothesis that the centrality of key shareholders in the ownership structure has a significant impact on the corporate performance of a company. This study reveals that auxiliary companies tend to be associated with NUTS 3 regions that exhibit lower GDP and fewer patent applications compared to their parent companies. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper discusses two problems of camping drift. One is to avoid two tourists occupying the same camp at the same time;the other is to arrange the departure time of tourists according to the number of different drifting tools. During the modelling process, we calculated that when the distance between the motor boat and the paddle-powered dinghy is fixed (indicating the distance between the campsite where the visitor stays), there may be cases of tourists using different drifting tools occupying the same camp at the same time. © 2023 The Authors.
