Power Systems are playing a vital role in the energy development and energy transmission in a most efficient and useful ways. Need of power transmission requires huge series capacitors to bring in the stability of massive amount of electrical energy. However, there are practical scenarios where these series capacitors are not capable of being synchronous with the turbine generators and thus causing Subsynchronous resonance (SSR). Though we have Flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS), we still have no control on the SSR. Therefore, Mitigation of SSR as a focus on TCSC controlled power system had been introduced with constant and enhanced power control methodologies and developed. Still there is room for improvement and hence we have introduced a GCSC controlled power transmission system. This paper proposes an approach for Subsynchronous resonance mitigation in Single Machine Infinite Bus System (SMIB) System Using GCSC and TCSC with Conventional and Fuzzy Logic Controllers compared. We have adopted the First IEEE benchmark a so-called SMIB system and used MATLAB/SIMULINK to witness the controllability on SSR. To evaluate performance of both devices, we have taken three different ratings of GCSC. We have projected a detailed analysis of comparing TCSC designed with conventional methods are inadequate to control the dynamic torsional oscillations when compared to the proposed GCSC ratings. Results and analysis proves that our Proposed design of GCSC controlled power system has the better performance results with inclusion of Takagi Sugeno fuzzy logic controller over the proportional(P) controller with respective of all the proposed Ratings Considered in the design. We are able to damp the dynamic power Oscillations and SSR with this method. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that the synthesis of AD and Census matching costs of AD-Census transformation cannot reflect the weight and central pixel dependence of pixels in the image area, an improved AD-Census stereo matching algorithm is proposed. The algorithm selects the reference pixel values by assigning the distance similarity of the pixels in the support window, and sets the threshold range based on the center pixel difference, and then calculates the cost of AD transformation cost and Census transformation cost composite weight. By using a semi-global aggregation algorithm based on dynamic programming, SGM (Semi-global matching) algorithm, the matching cost information is fused. The results of the Middlebury stereo matching evaluation platform show that compared with the binocular stereo matching performance of the improved AD-Census transform compared with the binocular stereo matching performance based on AD-Census transform, the parallax error of pixels is significantly optimized, and by adding noise interference, it can be seen that the anti-interference performance of the improved AD-Census algorithm is improved. © 2023 ACM.

With the rapid information and communications technology growth and continuous invention, the concept of parallel computing has become the core of computer science, and its capabilities are continually documented in providing high processing solutions. The graphic processing unit (GPU) plays a crucial role in deep learning and parallel computing. The primary purpose of this paper is to discuss two concepts of deep computing: data parallelism and model parallelism. Additionally, the discussion will delve into their importance and associated challenges in parallel processing. Furthermore, the paper summarises the Residual Network (ResNet) system with the basic principles and formulas. Establishing efficient parallel algorithms for GPU processing is necessary. This paper evaluates the performance and speed between single-core and multi-core working environments for two kinds of convolutional neural network structures with different types of GPUs. The first one is LeNet, and the other one is VGG16. There are two final results of this experiment. By analyzing the data of performance, VGG16 has better performance than LeNet. By analyzing the data of speed, the speed of LeNet is faster than that of VGG16. © 2023 SPIE.

Traditional lung puncture surgery requires a very high level of experience and operational proficiency from the surgeon, and a slight inadvertence during the procedure can cause irreversible damage to the patient's lungs. At the same time, long-term exposure to X-ray radiation in the surgical CT room can cause significant radiation dose overload injuries to the surgeon. To address the above problems, this paper designs a novel robotic system for lung puncture surgery and investigates it for master-slave control. First, a mechanism that can deliver multiple medical devices simultaneously is proposed to enable rotation, delivery, clamping, and bending control of the medical devices;second, a method to manipulate the surgical robot using a touch panel is proposed;and finally, a combination of convolutional neural network and image processing is used to assist in controlling the automatic rotation of the endoscope to reduce the complexity of the surgery. The final animal experiment of the paper verifies the feasibility of the robot. © 2023 SPIE.

Intelligent manufacturing refers to the use of advanced information technology and modern manufacturing technology to carry out comprehensive intelligent and automated transformation of the whole process and all links of manufacturing and production, as well as to achieve efficient manufacturing production and service-oriented operation and enhance the competitiveness of the entire industry. In the field of intelligent manufacturing, this paper researches on the application of intelligent manufacturing modelling based on cyber-physical system, which takes the auto industry as the background, selects the engine cylinder head deburring production case in the intelligent equipment system from its manufacturing architecture. After analysis of the cyber-physical system, then use UML (unified modeling language) class diagram mode to model the deburring process, and complete the equipment case construction corresponding to the mode, analyze the results and draw relevant conclusions and application to build the actual system in the architecture in component parts selection and factory pipeline design. © 2024 SPIE.

To forecast the condition of traffic networks in the future, it is crucial to model the spatial and temporal correlation of traffic series. The majority of current research has been on creating complicated graph neural networks that can capture common patterns using preconfigured graphs. In this paper, we claim that predefined graphs may be avoided and that adaptive graphs can be used to capture spatial correlations between traffic series and improve the performance of graph neural networks. In order to capture the temporal relationships of sequences, we also aggregated gated recurrent neural networks. Then, we encode the relative time position of the sequence in order to fully extract the characteristics of the traffic sequence. Finally, we add the values of the previous day and the same day of the previous week as a reference in the final prediction to improve the accuracy of our prediction. Experimental results on two sets of real-word traffic data (PeMSD4 and PeMSD8) demonstrate that our method is better than the existing methods. © 2023 SPIE.

In recent years, the importance of agriculture in India has grown significantly given the speed population growth and rising food demand. With approximately 70% of the population depending on agriculture, the need to increase crop yield has become crucial. One of the major challenges faced by farmers is the detection and prevention of plant diseases, as they can have a detrimental impact on crop productivity. To address this issue, a method for detecting plant diseases using deep learning and image processing is being developed. Low agricultural yields are a result of bacterial, viral, and fungal plant diseases. To stop the spread of illnesses and reduce production losses, early detection and prompt response are crucial. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and models like VGG16, in particular, have showed considerable potential for image classification problems. These methods can be used to precisely diagnose and categories plant diseases by utilizing deep learning. This paper focuses on the use of deep learning approaches, specifically CNNs and VGG16, for plant disease identification. The study delves into the details of these two deep learning techniques and their application in disease identification and classification. By analyzing and processing plant images, these methods can effectively differentiate between healthy plants and those affected by diseases. The proposed technique holds immense potential in revolutionizing plant disease detection in India. By providing farmers with a reliable and efficient tool for disease identification, preventive measures can be implemented promptly, leading to increased crop yields. Moreover, deep learning methods prioritize the outcomes of specific tasks, making them well-suited depending on the data itself, for the diagnosis of plant diseases. © 2023 IEEE.

Magnetic levitation system (MLS) is seldom modeled as a nonlinear system. This hinders the incorporation of nonlinearity due to its control input into the model of the system. Literature survey reveals that it can also be modeled as a nonaffine nonlinear system. The controller design of non affine nonlinear system is performed with the help of artificial neural network (NN). But, NNs have disadvantages like local minima trapping and high training time. These issues are resolved to a great extent by resorting to the use of radial basis function NN (RBFNN) for the controller design of nonaffine nonlinear system. In this paper, we have proposed the use of RBFNN to design an adaptive controller for a magnetic ball position system based on MLS. The control objective is for the system output, ball position, to track a desired trajectory. The proposed controller fulfills the control objective better than an adaptive controller based on sigmoid activation function NN. © 2023 IEEE.

The last several decades have witnessed a bloom of unmanned aircraft system (UAS) worldwide. Civil UASs are utilized in so many fields that entering the non-segregated airspace is upcoming, which proposes new challenges for both airworthiness agencies and aviation community. This paper reviews airworthiness technology of major civil aviation authorities in the world for civil UAS, analyzes existing problems and provides suggestions for the authorities and manufacturers. The rapid development of civil UAS in recent years and the urgent need for airworthiness are presented firstly. Then challenges faced in airworthiness are presented based on the characteristics of unmanned aircraft system. Technical route, development status and practices of major civil aviation authorities are summarized. As the development of electronic equipment such as radar goes thinner with a higher power, the demand for the heat dissipation capacity of the liquid cooling system is increasing. As one of the core components of electronic equipment, a liquid cooling case is very important for efficient and reliable heat dissipation. The complex structure design and highly precise assembly requirements have put forward great challenges to traditional manufacturing methods. In this paper, the research statuses of the liquid cooling case at home and abroad are reviewed, and the main manufacturing methods, heat dissipation methods and heat dissipation performance are introduced respectively. Meanwhile, taking a certain type of liquid cooling case as the research object, we explore the manufacturing method of friction stir welder case based on narrow forest steps, carry out research on the technology of case conformation correction and cleanliness control, and successfully make the liquid cooling case meet the requirements of weld performance, case strength and flow channel cleanliness. The process has a clear route with fixed parameters and good implementability and can be used for the mass production of highly integrated liquid cooling cases. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.
