In recent years, dual-motor drive systems have been widely applied in various fields, including rail transportation and industrial production. the control of dual-motor drive systems has become a key research topic, with the focus on determining the most effective control method. In the past, magnetic field orientation control or direct torque control methods were commonly used for driving dual-motor systems. However, with the significant improvement in microprocessor chip performance, more complex and precise algorithms have emerged, such as model predictive control. therefore, this paper compared the three-Vector Model Predictive Current control (TV-MPCC) with a similar framework as the Field-Oriented control (FOC) algorithm but with different principles. the simulation experiments were conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of TV-MPCC in improving the control accuracy and coordination of the dual-motor drive system.

To recover the satellite operations in emergency conditions, a control design scheme for emergency mode that utilizes reaction wheels and magnetic torques is presented in this paper. Firstly, based on a highly reliable sensor suite comprising sun sensors and magnetometers, a suitable attitude control law is designed to complete the satellite attitude missions of rate damping and sun-pointing. then, considering that there are only two workable reaction wheels due to one reaction wheel failures, a control allocation law is designed to determine the control torque provided by two reaction wheels and the magnetic moment provided by magnetic torquers. Finally, the proposed method is compared with the purely magnetic control method by numerical simulations. the results indicate that the proposed method can achieve the attitude control missions after the satellite enters emergency mode, and performs better in terms of convergence and accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that the current grid connected frequency control effect of wind turbines is poor, the grid connected frequency control method of AC excited variable speed constant frequency wind turbines is proposed, the virtual inertia control method of variable speed wind turbines is optimized, the power oscillation damping control algorithm of AC excited variable speed wind turbines is improved, and the grid connected frequency control process of variable speed constant frequency wind turbines is simplified. Finally, it is confirmed by experiments, the grid connected frequency control method of AC excited variable speed constant frequency wind turbine generator has high practicability and fully meets the research requirements. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. To solve the problem of slow exploration speed of maze robot, a new kind of maze robot is designed in this paper. STM32FI03C8T6 with strong performance is used as the control chip to effectively improve the working efficiency of maze robot. the existing left-right exploration algorithms are compared and optimized, and the left-right cross algorithm is proposed, which effectively improves the maze exploration speed and accuracy of the maze robot. the experimental platform of the maze robot is built, and the path exploration and control program of the robot is verified. the results show that the designed maze robot can effectively explore the path, the hardware system can reduce the influence of external environmental factors such as light and temperature on the maze robot, and improve the motion control stability and exploration algorithm accuracy of the maze robot. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we present a new fault tolerant control (FTC) strategy for a general class of non-linear systems that involve algebraic equations, time delay, and stochastic actuator faults. the interval type-2 IT-2 fuzzy model, which incorporates lower and upper membership functions to characterize the dynamics of the considered systems, is adopted to deal with the uncertainty. the goal of the control strategy is to build an IT-2 fuzzy state feedback controller with mismatched membership functions. A novel LMIs-based criterion is developed to guarantee the admissibility of the closed-loop system in the mean-square sense, which assures that the scheme can be used. the effectiveness of the proposed control is illustrated using a numerical example. © 2023 IEEE.

the Experimental advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) is an important device developed by China to realize controllable nuclear fusion. the vertical displacement of plasma is controlled by the current output from EAST fast control power supply. Traditional PI control has shortcomings in current dynamic response. A single neuron adaptive predictive PI (SNAD-PPI) control algorithm is proposed to ensure fast and accurate current output. the adaptive structure is used combined with the single neuron structure to improve the problem of insufficient dynamic response under the control of fixed PI parameters. Advance tracking reference current is used as the adaptive objective function of tutor-supervised learning for setting PI parameters in a single neuron. the proportional adjustment coefficient and the proportional learning rate of single neuron adaptive control are adjusted in real time to realize fast convergence of single neuron. Outstanding current dynamic response performance compare to traditional PI control is verified by experiments. © 2023 IEEE.

the rapid growth of internet population poses a serious challenge to the security of internet resources. the security is directly affected by the hits of Denial of Services (DoS) attack which is rampant nowadays. With this evolving threat, designing a cutting-edge method is difficult from a cyber-security perspective. In this study, we propose a deep learning-based system for detecting Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, which utilizes Logistic Regression, K- Nearest Neighbor, and Random Forest algorithms. We assess proposed models using a recently updated NSL KDD dataset. Our research's findings also demonstrate that proposed model is highly accurate in detecting Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. Our results show that our proposed model significantly improves upon current state-of-the-art attack detection methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of insufficient feature extraction and inaccurate prediction in existing aircraft engines remaining useful life prediction algorithms, a fusion model based on feature attention mechanism, stacked noise reduction autoencoder and bidirectional gated cycle units (BiGRU) was proposed. Firstly, weight is assigned to each sensor data of aircraft engine by the feature attention mechanism, and new weight data is obtained. Next, the stack noise reduction autoencoder is used to extract the weighted data. then, bidirectional gated recurrent units are employed to predict the time series data and obtain the remaining useful life of the aircraft engine. To accurately select the hyperparameters of BiGRU, the Bayesian optimization algorithm is utilized for hyperparameter optimization. Finally, ablation experiments were conducted on the CMPASS dataset to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, resulting in a root mean square error and score of 13.51 and 252.61, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

In most super-resolution experiments, because the data set in the real scene cannot meet the quantity requirements, it is necessary to downsample the high-resolution images using the degradation method to obtain the same proportion of low-resolution images. However, because the same degradation method is used to process images, the processing process of low-resolution images is relatively simple, which is easy to cause model solidification in the subsequent training process. After the training is completed, the generalization ability will be generally low due to the single underlying degradation method. this paper uses the SRMD method to build an unsupervised multilevel degradation, and takes advantage of the adduction network generated in unsupervised learning. After extracting image features, it adopts anisotropic Gaussian fuzzy kernel, bi-cubic subsampling and additive Gaussian noise to compose the degradation training data set. Compared with the traditional bi-cubic PNSR, the performance is improved by 5%. the SSIM value is increased by 3%, and the running speed is increased by 7% on average. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper focuses on the modeling and control of a hybrid energy storage system (HESS) consisting of lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitor designed for a single-phase installation. the proposed control method combines an artificial neural network (ANN) algorithm with a nonlinear sliding mode control (SMC) system that considers variations in irradiance and power consumed by the load. the storage systems are separately connected to a DC bus via a DC-DC converter, and the PV installation is connected via a boost converter controlled by an intelligent MPPT using a fuzzy logic algorithm (FLC) to enhance the performance of the PV system. To protect the batteries from overcharging and deep discharge and maintain a constant state of charge for the supercapacitor, two management and protection algorithms are developed. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency and stability of the proposed ANN-SMC control strategy without any oscillations or overshoot during the transient regime until reaching the final value. © 2023 IEEE.
