By deploying sufficient resources at the edge, applications with low latency and high energy consumption can be offloaded to the edge server for execution, reducing the total application execution cost. the existing unload models usually assume that several tasks of the application are independent of each other, and they often have dependencies in the real world. In view of the contradiction between the above research and reality, firstly, considering the limited edge server resources and battery capacity, this paper establishes a joint optimization model of delay and energy consumption (total cost) for dependent task unloading. Secondly, to solve this model problem, a Modified Sparrow Search Algorithm (MSSA) is proposed. To solve the problems of premature convergence, easy to fall into local optimal and poor global search ability in SSA, reverse learning, neighborhood search and Wolf pack algorithm are introduced to improve the algorithm. Finally, simulation results show that compared with other algorithms, the total application execution cost of the proposed algorithm is reduced by 7%~18%. © 2023 IEEE.

Rail detection is an important part of intelligent rail transportation, and research on rail recognition is of significant importance for both detecting foreign object intrusion in railways and realizing unmanned driving of trains. this paper proposes a new method for rail detection based on bird's-eye view (BEV) of LiDAR point clouds, which aims to solve the problems of traditional point cloud algorithms, such as weak robustness and low accuracy, as well as the problems of large computation and poor real-time performance in point cloud deep learning networks. the proposed method constructs a BEV by projecting the rail point cloud onto a 2D image and retaining the point cloud features, and then uses an anchor-based rail detection convolutional neural network (CNN) to detect the rail. Finally, the predicted rail are mapped back to the original point cloud to label the rail. the experiments on a self-built dataset show that the proposed method achieves good results in different rail scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Model predictive control strategy is an advanced control algorithm for bidirectional active and reactive power flow in electric vehicles. However, tuning the weighting factor is a time-consuming process and its value is constant for various working conditions. To solve this problem, fuzzy control is applied to generate an adaptive weighting factor to meet all unexpected requirements. A two-stage bidirectional charger is built in Matlab/Simulink with the proposed fuzzy model predictive control. Simulation results show that dynamic performance can be achieved in the proposed method. the total harmonic distortion of the grid current is limited to 5%. the weighting factor can be adjusted online according to different demands. No tuning procedure of the weighting factor is required. © 2023 IEEE.

the large-scale grid connection of wind power brings challenges to the frequency stability of the power system, the system inertia decreases, the frequency regulation capability deteriorates, and the traditional wind turbine is difficult to meet the frequency regulation demand of the system. To address the problem of slow response of existing wind turbines participating in frequency regulation, this paper proposes a control method for permanent magnet direct-driven wind turbines participating in fast frequency response of the grid, based on power electronic converters equipped with electromagnetic level control speed to rapidly change the electromagnetic torque of the wind turbine rotor according to the system frequency change, increase or decrease the wind turbine speed to fully utilize the stored or released rotational inertia and achieve fast power regulation of the wind turbine. the results of the frequency step simulation of the permanent magnet direct-driven synchronous wind power system show that the fast frequency regulation response time of the control method proposed in this paper can reach the millisecond level. © 2023 IEEE.

Virtual synchronous generator (VSG) technology can support grid voltage and frequency, and can keep stable in weak grid conditions, which has a very wide application prospect, and it is crucial to ensure its stability during grid-connected operation. When VSG is connected to the grid, the bandwidth of the internal voltage loop is usually constrained by the system switching frequency and current loop bandwidth, and VSG is implemented by digital control technology, which has common control delay problems, both of which affect the stability and dynamic characteristics of the system. therefore, this paper analyzes the effect of delay time and voltage loop bandwidth on the stable operation of VSG by establishing a state space model of VSG grid-connected system with control delay. Firstly, a complete state space model of VSG grid-connected system is established in this paper. then, with the help of characteristic root trajectories and participation factors analysis, the effects of delay time and voltage loop bandwidth on system are evaluated. the analysis results show that low voltage loop bandwidth and large delay time can reduce the stability and dynamic characteristics of the system, and excessive voltage loop bandwidth can increase oscillation frequency in the system. Finally, simulation results shows the correctness of the theoretical analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

Dielectric elastomer sensor (DES) is a flexible sensor that can perform free bending deformation, thus it has broad application prospects in the fields of medical electronics, wearable devices, soft robots, etc. Previous studies have mostly focused on exploring the static sensing characteristics of the DES. Considering that the DES may be used in dynamic conditions, it is very meaningful to study its dynamic sensing characteristics to broaden its application ranges. In this paper, a dynamic sensing model of the DES is established based on the gate recurrent unit (GRU) neural network. Firstly, the structure of the DES and the construction of the experimental system are introduced. In addition, the dynamic sensing characteristics of the DES are analyzed by conducting several sets of experiments, which shows that the DES has significant rate-dependent hysteresis nonlinearities, multivalued mapping and memory characteristics. After that, the dynamic sensing model of the DES is built based on the GRU neural network to describe the above dynamic sensing characteristics. Next, the dynamic displacement and force sensing models of the DES are trained according to the dynamic displacement-capacitance and dynamic force-capacitance experimental data, respectively. Finally, several experiments are performed to verify the effectiveness and generalization ability of the established dynamic sensing model. © 2023 IEEE.

the traffic scenes are complex and ever-changing, and traditional signal control methods have limitations. DRL based methods rely on a large amount of interactive data between intelligent agents and the environment, which leads to a long learning process and high computational costs. Based on this, this paper introduces imitative learning into reinforcement learning for traffic signal control. At the same time, it improves the design of reward function for the problem of frequent phase switching and too long red-light in the flow imbalance scene, and increases the cost of phase switching and penalty factors. Aiming at the chaos control of permanent magnet synchronous motor, a dual-parameter collaborative intelligent optimal control method based on GWO-RBFNN was proposed. Starting from the perspective that the controller can automatically search for the expected motion state, the distance between two points on the Poincaré cross section is selected as the controller input. And considering the coupling effect of system parameters on the dynamic behavior of the system, a dualparameter cooperative controller is designed based on radial basis function neural network (RBFNN);Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm is used to optimize the selection of controller parameters;By slightly adjusting the two controllable parameters of the system, the chaotic motion of the PMSM system is controlled to the expected motion state. In the simulation study, compared with the single-parameter intelligent optimization control method based on GWO-RBFNN, the results show that although both methods can achieve chaotic motion control, the control speed of the dual-parameter collaborative intelligent optimization control method based on GWO-RBFNN is faster and overshoot is smaller. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. In recent years, with the widespread application of information network technology, information security has become increasingly important. More information leaks occur during the exchange of information flows, and opacity is a very important concept in the exchange of system information flows. It refers to the inability of external intruders to observe and infer the nature of key system behaviors through system non secret behaviors. "Opacity"is an inherent attribute of a system. the related research on opacity is widely used in various industrial control fields to meet system security and privacy requirements. this article summarizes and compares various definitions and implementation methods related to the research on opacity in discrete event systems, and analyzes their respective use scenarios and differences based on the characteristics of various types of opacity;the mathematical conditions and complexity of various opacity implementations are summarized, and the complexity of different implementations is compared. the reasons for the different complexity of different implementations are analyzed;Finally, according to the current development direction of opacity research, the future research direction of opacity is prospected. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. the dispatch operation ticket system contains much real-time information about the power system. To make this information available for better dispatch control for power systems, a new text mining method of dispatching operation ticket system is constructed in this paper, which is based on a graph partition spectral clustering algorithm. According to the content of order tickets, they are divided into different types, and the same type of order tickets are stored in a group. the relationship between each group is modeled and analyzed, and the bipartite graph is introduced to achieve a good clustering effect among heterogeneous objects. the Laplacian matrix in the spectral clustering algorithm is used for the Graph Segmentation, and the matrix feature vectors and data point set are obtained, completed by dimension feature data set. After that, the clustering result is obtained, which represents the result of dispatching operation ticket checking text mining used for the real-time power system dispatching. the simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately mine the operation content of the power system overhaul and repair management process, which is efficient and convenient to meet the regulation needs of power system operation. © 2023 IEEE.
