Large volumes of datasets are continuously generated across various scientific domains. After generation, the big datasets often need to be quickly transferred geographically using bandwidth reservation service provided by dedicated high-performance networks (HPNs) for collaborative data storage and analysis. While the primary requirement of the data transfer is the earliest completion time (ECT), users may also have additional requirements, such as minimizing data transfer costs financially. Striking the right balance between these diverse data transfer needs can be challenging. In this paper, we delve into the trade-off between completion time and cost of data transfers using bandwidth reservation on fixed-bandwidth variable paths in dedicated HPNs. We focus on two types of bandwidth reservation requests (BRRs) and their scheduling: (i) achieving the minimum data transfer cost under the constraint of data transfer deadline, and (ii) achieving the data transfer ECT under the constraint of maximum data transfer cost. To optimize the scheduling of both types of BRRs, we propose two optimal and novel algorithms and then conduct extensive simulations to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithms.

In recent years, with the rapid development of network technology in our country, neural network algorithm is widely recognized and applied to image. U-Net is one of them, which can effectively improve the efficiency of FPGA network hardware utilization, and thus enhance the acceleration system. The main principle of the U-Net is to accelerate the speed of convolutional computation by means of circular flow and circular unfolding, and to improve the performance of the network hardware. In order to learn more about it, this paper will discuss the relevant research.

The majority of critical injuries caused by road accidents occur in developing nations, where they are a major global concern. Due to these traffic incidents, many individuals have lost loved ones. Consequently, a system that has the potential to save lives is needed. The approach identifies key contributing factors for accidents or establishes a connection between accidents and different causes of accidents. This study suggests a system for predicting accidents that can assist in analyzing potential safety concerns and foretelling whether an event will happen or not. In order to identify key qualities and forecast accident risk in single- and multiple-crashes, this research provides a hybrid feature selection-based classification-based machine learning (ML) method. It took into account classifiers like the random forest, k-nearest neighbor, and XGBoost. A few evaluation criteria, including precision, root mean square error, accuracy, recalls, and receivers operating output characteristics, were used to assess these classifiers. When the accuracy of the ML algorithms was compared, the accuracy of the proposed model attained as 99.78%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

To become a successful organization it is the most important aspect to consider is the customer satisfaction. A business can grow only when the customers enjoy their product/service and how much they recommend it. For the same, companies collect reviews and ratings from its customers to understand their perspective better. Amazon is also such a giant, which values its customers’ opinions. It is very difficult or nearly impossible to have a detailed manual scan of each and every review for each and every product available on the website. This is where NLP (Natural language processing) comes into picture. It processes human language from text to arrays of numbers in order to find sense in the text so that the machine learning algorithms can process them further and classify the texts. This project focuses on processing the amazon reviews of various categories and products and then classify them into 5 ratings, from 1 to 5, worst to best respectively. The supervised machine learning algorithms used to process these reviews are Support Vector machines (SVM), Naïve Bayes classifier and Decision Tree classifier. The analysis of comparison of these algorithms has also been discussed using accuracy score bar charts.

In the realm of edge computing for the Internet of Things (IoT) within the power industry, the efficient processing, accurate classification, and rapid response to massive IoT data have become urgent challenges. Traditional centralized data processing methods based on cloud computing are inadequate to handle the current vast data volumes. To address these issues, this paper proposes an intelligent edge data processing framework based on the combination of Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Units- Recurrent Neural Network with Attention Mechanism (Att-BiGRU-RNN) and Bloom filters. This framework integrates an attention mechanism to capture temporal dependencies in data from edge nodes, enabling preliminary prediction and categorization of data types. It dynamically adjusts the parameter structure of Bloom filters, reducing collisions and minimizing data false positives. This framework dynamically and adaptively selects appropriate data for processing at the edge nodes, significantly reducing the amount of data transmitted to the cloud, thereby conserving communication bandwidth and reducing time delays. It effectively addresses real-time identification methods for terminal devices in access networks and facilitates fast access to the network.

Different web management strategies are used in the cloud computing deployment to address various issues. Here, information security and protection has developed into a significant issue that restricts a lot of cloud applications. In tandem with the growth of cloud storage’s benefits, the drawbacks of cloud data have also grown. This has an impact on the cloud-based information servers that are used to store data. further used for exchanging jointly massive amounts of data using DFS. The cloud computing foundation’s information exchange processes are defenseless against several assaults, for which multiple cryptographic approaches were unable to provide a workable defense. Reliable Efficient Cloud Storage Model is a novel approach. With the Blowfish approach, the suggested algorithm is applied to this model. When compared to the current technique, experimental results showed that the RECS approach is effective in storing and transmitting the encrypted data.

With the establishment and development of integrated monitoring platforms and communication information platforms for intelligent substations, the data volume of the power system is showing explosive growth. However, existing data centers have poor processing capabilities for massive amounts of data, making it difficult to meet the multiple service quality requirements of users. How to effectively manage massive and complex data, fully utilize the value of data, improve service quality, reduce operational costs, and achieve rapid response to users is an urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, based on the actual needs of power enterprises, this article proposed a cloud computing power data middleware architecture based on distributed technology, which effectively managed, cleaned, converted, and evaluated power data sources through cloud computing platforms. This article mainly analyzed the shortcomings of traditional power data processing platforms and the feasibility of cloud computing based power data platforms. Finally, through load balancing bias comparison and pressure testing experiments under different task numbers, it was proven that cloud computing systems outperformed traditional power data processing systems in terms of utility value, completion time, and load balancing. Moreover, in the pressure testing experiment, under the condition of 10 concurrent users and 673 system request transactions, 91.3% of the interface response time in the cloud computing system was within 50ms. Therefore, cloud computing systems have certain advantages in processing power data.
