This paper will improve the accuracy of sales forecasting from the perspective of multi-objective optimization. A two-layer multi-objective optimization model is constructed to optimize the utility of data providers and data consumers based on data quality, data attributes, correlation of attributes, consumer competition and other multidimensional factors. Then, according to the sales information, the supermarket sales decision support system based on data warehouse, on-line analysis and data mining is designed and developed. This paper introduces the construction process of data warehouse and the realization of on-line analysis and processing technology from the perspective of application. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance in marketing data analysis. It enables more efficient data transactions. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, people have put forward higher requirements for data mining tools and methods. This paper mainly studied multi-objective optimization problems in the field of construction engineering. By establishing models, information such as building structures and buildings was modeled and processed, and influencing factors were analyzed and predicted. After being quantified, the examples were used to illustrate the application effect, and the model was optimized. The test results showed that the data processing efficiency of the multi-objective optimization model for construction engineering based on the data mining association rule algorithm was around 74% to 77% before optimization, and the data processing efficiency after optimization was between 80% to 90%. At the same time, appropriate index parameter values were selected based on the actual situation to maximize the synergy between engineering projects and optimize economic benefits, thereby achieving the goal of improving construction efficiency and quality. © 2023 IEEE.

The field of big data analytics has attracted a considerable amount of attention in the realm of academic research due to the fact that it is incredibly useful in a wide variety of real-time applications. This is the reason why the subject has received so much attention. The relatively recent development of machine learning and deep learning models has resulted in an improvement in performance. This improvement has been brought about as a result of the development of these models. The application of these models to the study of massive datasets has become much simpler as a result of these models, which has led to an improvement in performance outcomes. When considering the complexity of large data and the processing requirements that it imposes, it is beneficial to employ feature selection strategies that make use of metaheuristic optimization algorithms. This is due to the fact that big data is distinguished by the vast quantity of information that it contains. There is a huge advantage in the fact that these algorithms are able to successfully uncover the best potential set of features, which ultimately results in improved classification performance. In this particular piece of literature, a new approach that is known as the GWOA-DBN model is presented as a solution to the problem. In order to construct this model and the benefits that come along with it, the Grey Wolf Optimization algorithm and the optimal deep belief network have been coupled. The objective of the Apache Spark environment is to find a solution to the problem of classifying enormous volumes of data. This is the goal of the environment, which is the ultimate objective of the environment. The GWOA-DBN technique, which involves the construction of a feature selection method, is built on the base of the Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm (GWOA), which acts as the cornerstone for the methodology. The conventional approach to launching a business is to research and gather data regarding the past performance of rival businesses unless they were profitable or unsuccessful. Innovation is the ethos of the modern day, as everyone is engaged in a struggle to outperform one another. The objective of our suggested research is to create knowledge that will be helpful to aspiring business owners and small companies that are losing money. Our main aim is to assist small-scale manufacturers in becoming successful marketers. In return for the dataset, which must be provided as input, we will provide them with clear instructions on how to start a profitable business and recover from their loss. In order to analyse data more effectively, our planned work will segment clients based on stock input, weekly updates of stocks sold, and waste products. In this work, two different clustering techniques (k-Means and hierarchical) are used to classify the products into subsets, and their respective results are compared. data will be segmented using clustering algorithms, allowing for much more focused production of the final result. © 2023 IEEE.

Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) has been widely used in distributed storage systems as a low latency network technology, especially for the application of data replication. For the methods using RDMA's two-sided or one-sided primitives, remote CPU is required to poll the incoming data from replica nodes for data integrity. Alternatively, offloading methods can offload the task of data replication to the RNIC without CPU polling. However, these methods are primarily based on chain replication, including the issues of driver modification requirements and the associated higher average and tail latency. In this paper, we propose an approach based on binomial tree topology to offload the process of data replication to the RNIC with native RDMA primitives, called as BT-Duper. BT-Duper has fewer communication steps compared to the chain replication method, thus achieving lower average and tail latency. Moreover, offloading data replication to the RNIC can only use native RDMA primitives, without modifying the driver or adding additional hardware. Our experiments show that for 32-copy data replication, BT-Duper achieves a significant 62-76% reduction in latency compared to chain replication, while achieving a 60-80 × performance improvement over OpenMPI's Bcast in high load CPU environments. © 2023 IEEE.

In this study, we present a novel approach for efficient real-time data processing in IoT devices at the edge by dynamically adapting artificial neural networks (ANNs) based on available computational resources and input data complexity. We address the challenges of resource constraints and latency reduction, crucial for enabling seamless and responsive IoT applications. Our proposed method comprises three main algorithms: Dynamic Neural Network Adaptation (DNNA), Edge Inference Scheduler (EIS), and Latency-aware Activation Thresholding (LAT). Algorithm 1, DNNA, is responsible for dynamically adjusting the complexity of the deployed ANN to match the available resources and data complexity. It optimizes the trade-off between computational efficiency and model accuracy, making the best use of limited edge resources. Algorithm 2, EIS, optimizes the allocation of computational resources while minimizing latency during task scheduling on edge devices. It ensures that tasks are assigned to devices that can meet latency requirements, improving overall system responsiveness. Algorithm 3, LAT, dynamically adjusts activation thresholds within ANNs based on predicted latency, allowing for a fine balance between accuracy and processing speed. This adaptation ensures that the ANN performs optimally under varying conditions. Our experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over traditional approaches in terms of latency, inference accuracy, energy efficiency, scalability, privacy, security, resource utilization, and overall efficiency. The proposed method not only reduces latency but also maintains high accuracy levels, making it a valuable solution for real-time data processing in IoT devices at the edge. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an adaptive data delivery method for data science pipelines. While this method is feasible for processes communicating over any network, in this work we focus on edge-fog-cloud infrastructures. In a diagnostic phase, a model based on the Bernoulli principle is used to create a representation of bottlenecks in a pipeline. In a supervision phase, a watchman/sentinel cooperative system monitors the throughput of the pipeline stages to create a bottleneck-stage scheme. In a rectification phase, this system produces replicas of bottlenecks stages, mitigating the workload congestion using implicit parallelism and load balancing algorithms. This method is automatically and transparently invoked to produce a steady continuum dataflow. To test our proposal, we conducted a case study about the processing of medical and satellite data. The evaluation revealed that this method creates continuum dataflows, without neither characterising workloads nor knowing infrastructure details, which yields a competitive performance with state-of-the-art solutions. © 2023 ACM.

With the arrival of a learning society, information networking has brought about a fundamental change in the way of knowledge dissemination. It has made modern education methods break away from restrictions in time and space. online learning platform (OLP) learning platform plays an increasingly important role in China's education and has gradually become a widely accepted and adopted learning method. Therefore, based on data mining and intelligent algorithms, this paper conducts an in-depth study on the learning platform (LP) of basic courses for college design majors. This paper first introduces the data processing method and resource recommendation algorithm design, then analyzes the functional requirements of the LP and designs the overall architecture of the platform and the learning resource recommendation system, and finally analyzes the use of the LP and the learning resource recommendation system and draws the corresponding conclusions. The research results show that the LP and learning resource recommendation system meet the needs of users for basic course learning. © 2024 SPIE.

Ultra-short baseline(referred to as USBL) is an important device in current underwater positioning applications, with the advantages of small array size, high positioning accuracy, easy to carry and install. In order to improve the data transmission and processing speed, and to improve the integration of the system, this design is developed using ZYNQ 7020 chip, whose architecture is FPGA+ARM, and utilizes ADS9120 chip to sample the echo signal. This paper focuses on the FPGA design of the transmitter module and the data acquisition module, the signal is captured and analyzed by the integrated logic analyzer(ILA), and the designed transmitter signal is detected by the oscilloscope. Finally, underwater experiments are carried out in an anechoic pool and the waveform of the acquired echo signals are displayed through the labview software of the upper computer. © 2023 IEEE.
