Several developing countries have been faced with serious energy deficits. Environmentally conscious communication has been advanced by the creation of an economical half adder using the Vivado software framework and several FPGA families. To determine the most energy-efficient FPGA series, three distinct FPGA families with seven series each were developed: Airtex, Virtex, and Kintex. The Airtex, Virtex, and Kintex families each consume 0.795 watts of power, but the Kintex family consumes 1.013 watts. Temperatures of Airtex, Virtex, and Kintex are 58.5 degrees Celsius, 73.6 degrees Celsius, and 74 degrees Celsius, respectively. Using components from the Airtex-7 series instead of those from the other two families reduces power dissipation, as specified. Airtex's power efficiency is comparable to that of rival FPGA architectures. Using this strategy, it is possible to meet future energy demands. Moreover, Airtex board is more affordable than competing brands. Airtex FPGAs have a unique set of characteristics that make them suitable for specific applications when compared to other FPGA families. Using this strategy, future energy demands can be met. Additionally, Airtex board is less expensive than competing brands. Compared to other FPGA families, Airtex FPGAs have a unique set of characteristics that make them suitable for specific applications. © 2023 IEEE.

Under a variety of different loads, the methodologies used in maintaining power supply were found to be unreliable and misaligned. Non-linear loads are the root of these specific randomness issues in the harmonics mitigating the impact. Filtration reduce the problems with resonance frequencies and authority value. These filtration are expensive because they must provide a dynamic response under different loads. The fresh unified electricity flow operator provides more secure power systems and good voltage stability under different load scenarios. The current is generated from the AC source using the altered Synchronous Frame Theory (SRF) theory. The opposite of the load harmonics are generated by the SRF theory's sinusoidal harmonics. power factor can be absorbed by or injected into the PCC by this UPFC. The DC link capacitor receives voltage from the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controller. PWM pulses are generated for the shunt and series compensators using the D-Q theory and leakage currents current controller. DSPIC30F4011 Controller is the hardware used to complete this task. © 2023 IEEE.

Utilizing discriminative deep belief networks (DDBNs) within the framework of semi-supervised learning, this technique leverages a combination of a limited set of labeled samples to enhance intrusion prevention efficacy while reducing recognition errors. By integrating both non-local and local regularization techniques, the method effectively tackles the inherent challenge of high error rates in cyber prevention models. Additionally, this approach is designed for implementation on Quantum computing platforms, harnessing advanced machine learning algorithms to significantly improve cybersecurity measures. © 2024 IEEE.

Among eco-friendly forms of renewable energy, wind energy is a considerable one. In comparison with other energy sources, wind energy generally has less impact towards environment. There is no emission released which are harmful to environment, also it does not require water for cooling. The use of wind turbines also reduces the amount of energy generated by fossil fuels, reducing air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions. In order to provide grid supply with improved efficiency, a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) and a wind turbine are used in this study. The effective functioning of the DFIG is accomplished by dq theory based Cascaded ANN which provides the rotor and grid side control. In order to convert the AC supply to DC, PWM rectifier is deployed, from which the energy is stored in super capacitor in DC form. A PWM inverter is implemented in order to change the supply from DC to AC when needed and reduces the harmonic using LC filter. The proposed DFIG system with neural network based control supplies stabilized voltage to the 3φ grid for various applications. The proposed system is simulated using MATLAB and efficient responses are obtained. © 2023 IEEE.

This research paper investigates the integration of Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) principles into neuromorphic computing patterns to enhance logic operations in healthcare appliances. By drawing inspiration from the human brain's capability and adaptability, we propose a novel approach to embed ANI algorithms through neuromorphic hardware. Our study indicates how this fusion of technologies can significantly enhance the speed, accuracy, and adaptability of logic operations critical for healthcare appliances, such as patient monitoring and diagnostic systems. This study aims to assess the efficacy of enhancing transient stability in concurrent AC-DC power systems through the utilization of Static VAR Compensator (SVC) while optimizing transmission line reactance. Seven samples obtained from MATLAB simulations are analyzed. Implementation of the SVC method leads to notable improvements in transient stability. Results indicate that the static VAR compensation technique enhances transient stability by approximately 94.3%. This enhancement underscores the effectiveness of SVC in mitigating transient instability, showcasing its potential to significantly bolster the stability of integrated AC-DC power systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Securing devices used in the Internet of Things (IoT) applications is a challenging task. This paper provides a succinct review of the challenges in securing the Internet of Things (IoT) devices, types of attacks, software tools for studying IoT security, and existing guidelines to design IoT systems. Main contribution is the focus shift from architecture to devices and propose technological developments that are required for securing the IoT devices. Further, the investigation also studies standards and certifying procedures currently in vogue and proposes future directions to research. The paper also summarizes existing testing methods and technologies that will impact device certification in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

power quality occupies a variety of research efforts for engineers and scientists. To solve power Quality issues, conventional compensation devices have failed to perform adequately. power electronics based compensation devices have proven to be a more effective solution. DSTATCOMs are shunt connected custom power devices, which used to increase utility grid auxiliary service capability and improve the PQ problems, voltage and reactive power support. DSTATCOM is used to generate compensating currents which are combined with distorted current generated from nonlinear loads to remove harmonics from source currents. In this paper, the effect of reactive power consumption is eliminated by using DSTATCOM based on Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) inverters. In an NPC multilevel inverter, Level Shifted Pulse Width Modulation (LSPWM) and Phase Shifted PWM (PSPWM) approaches are used to effectively improve power stability. In order to appropriately maintain power stability and solve oscillation issues, the intelligent Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controller is executed. The performance of the system error is minimized by the fuzzy logic controller with an appropriate DC link control. Based on MATLAB simulation results, the fault current is mitigated by using NPC inverter. © 2023 IEEE.

In distributed generation, the existing systems involve fixed roof top solar panels for commercial and residential buildings. During conditions of disasters or in primitive villages, a great way to use the solar energy for electricity is portable solar generator setup. It replaces the conventional types of generators like fuel type and wind mill type generators which are heavy, complex requiring run wires or drill holes in the roof. In addition it offers easy movement to a new recreational vehicle used in field trips, camps etc. Hence, a new economic based portable solar generator unit is designed and implemented for the need of community. A PV system generates intermittent power and is variable in nature. In order to effectively harvest greatest amount of power from a PV system, a Boost converter that is under the direction of the Perturb & Observe (P&O) algorithm is required. Proposed Portable Solar power Generation Unit (PSPGU) is able to produce a power of 120W. In addition to it a 36Ah battery is implemented for backup power and for storing the excess power. To speed up charging and preserve batteries, a solar charge controller is employed. With the advent of an ideal energy scaling system and compact design, portable solar generators significantly lower installation costs. The solar generator's components may be easily purchased from local markets, thus lowering the development costs and making it suitable for commercialization. © 2023 IEEE.

Individuals who are bedridden or incapacitated struggle to do particular daily tasks because they have trouble with specific hand movements. Some people can need extra help to do jobs or communicate easily. In this situation, flex sensors and an Arduino microcontroller are two features that make IoT smart gloves useful. When a person moves their fingers, the sensors detect those motions, interpret the gestures, and provide the appropriate output to an LCD monitor. The buzzer will sound, the LED will glow, and the carer will receive an emergency alert in case of an emergency. With the assistance of the smart glove, the user can utilize hand motions to turn on the fan or light. © 2024 IEEE.
