The objective of the proposed study is to improve the transmission data rate during interference-aware channel allocation for secondary users by substituting the Novel Cournot Game for other game algorithms. Resources and techniques Potential algorithms are compared, and the Novel Cournot game algorithm is suggested. The sample size was calculated using G power (80%), which resulted in 20 samples (N = 10 each). There is a statistically significant difference of 0.014 between the two groups (p 0.05). The mean transmission data rate of the Cournot game is 0.3520, which is significantly higher than the mean data rate of the potential game, which is 0.2460. The Novel Cournot Game outperforms the prospective game in terms of InterferenceAware Channel Allocation for Secondary transmission data rate. © 2023 IEEE.

Since its emergence in early 2023, Segment Anything Model(SAM) has garnered significant academic interests and spawned many investigations from various perspectives due to its zero-shot generalization ability. However, the deployment of SAM in scenes that required real-time performance, such as industrial assembly liners, had severe challenges due to its heavy image encoder, whose parameters were as large as 632M. In this study, we proposed a lightweight segmentation solution for industrial assembly line applications, wherein the heavyweight image encoder was replaced with a lightweight one. Specifically, we employed decoupled distillation to train the encoder of MobileSAM in a resource-limited setting. The entire knowledge distillation experiment could be completed in a single day on a single RTX 4090. The resulting lightweight SAM, called Group- Mix SAM, had 37.63% (2.16M) fewer parameters and 42.5% (15614.7M) fewer floating-point operations compared to MobileSAM. Additionally, on our homemade industrial dataset: MALD, its mIoU was only marginally lower than that of MobileSAM, at 0.615. Finally, we conducted comprehensive experiments to demonstrate the superiority of Group-Mix SAM in real industrial scenes.

The TOPSIS method is a very important part in decision making field. However, we find the interference effect between attribute values, which will make the positive ideal solution (PIS) and negative ideal solution (NIS), the separation and ranking index deviate from the actual situation, and further influence the result of best and worst alternatives. To solve this problem, we propose a modified TOPSIS method considering interference effect with quantum cognitive theory. In this paper, we first consider for using the interference effect with quantum cognition to express the interference degree between attribute value. Second, we apply the interference degree and the detailed steps of original TOPSIS method to propose a modified TOPSIS method considering interference effect. Third, we apply our proposed TOPSIS method to evaluate the credit risk of commercial banks. © 2023 IEEE.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have attracted great attention due to its high mobility and flexible deployment, which makes many people develop UAVs for different application scenarios. The unique performance of UAVs encourages the emergence of more critical and complex tasks in uncertain and potential harsh environments, many of which were not even envisaged decades ago, including military border surveillance and oil/gas offshore exploration. The large amount of data generated by these applications needs to be processed and analyzed by deep neural networks (DNNs). However, due to the resource constraints of UAVs, there are many challenges in how to deal with deep networks and complex models on UAVs. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained DNN inference partition method, aiming at allocating inference requests to the resource-constrained UAV swarm, classifying the captured images, and finding the minimum inference latency. We formulate the problem as an optimization problem that minimizes the inference latency of UAV swarm from capturing the image to outputting the result. The optimization problem is an NP-hard problem. Therefore, we introduce an online heuristic solution, namely EECIA, to find the computing task allocation strategy that gives the best latency among the available UAVs. The simulation results show that compared with the benchmarks, our algorithm can get relatively good performances under different configures and the running time meets the real-time requirements. © 2023 IEEE.

The foundational principles of emerging wireless networks such as 5G, cognitive radio, and the prospective Internet have already integrated a multitude of prerequisites from the realm of the Internet of Things (IoT). The utilization of 6G technology opens up the possibility of conducting surgeries from a remote location. The rapid and efficient transmission of medical data can be enabled by the substantial data rates, minimal latency, and viability inherent in the 6G cognitive radio network, thereby potentially elevating both the quality of healthcare and its accessibility. The enhancement of Quality of Service (QoS) crucially depends on resolving the intricacies associated with routing Secondary Users (SUs) in a multi-hop fashion. To cater to the decentralized nature of cognitive Radio Networks (CRN) within the context of a 6G-oriented Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, it becomes imperative to formulate solutions for routing SUs that do not hinge on cooperative mechanisms. The present routing protocols predominantly focus on defining an interference range for SUs, aimed at mitigating user interference. However, these limitations primarily consider interference with Primary Users (PUs) and do not align with the fulfillment of regulations set forth by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). To address these challenges, a proactive method employs non-cooperative reinforcement learning techniques to systematically formulate IoT network routing strategies enhanced by 6G and cognitive radio capabilities. This pursuit introduces a novel Q-learning algorithm that modifies the existing Ad-hoc on-Demand Distance Vector Routing protocol (AODV), enhancing the reconfiguration process. © 2023 IEEE.

This article aims to discover how AI-powered systems facilitate auditing, what risks emerge for AI-assisted audits and how to deal with these new risks. The paper studies the impact of cognitive computing on audit risk. AI-powered software is capable of self-learn so that it can identify patterns in data and codify them in predictions, rules and decisions. This self-learning ability can become both a benefit and, at the same time, insecurity. Although AI-self-learning helps make the process more efficient and calculations more accurate by improving the algorithm, eliminating errors and reducing risks, it creates new previously unknown threats. We discovered inherent limitations of cognitive-based technologies and risks for the audit process associated with using AI systems. We also proposed a complex security model that can reduce the uncertainty of AI-enabled audit and provides insight into future research opportunities. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, the mobile communication industry is one of the growing areas of information and communication technology. This quick development is because of the steadily expanding number of mobile subscribers, dramatic ascent in cell phones and the breakthrough in mobile application development. Likewise, with the arising 5G advances like the Machine to Machine (M2M) correspondence, mobile data services will be much more popular. A major challenge associated with reducing Energy Efficiency (EE) and maintaining an excellent quality of service. But, at the same time, it leads to high traffic and time delay during the data transmission. To address this problem Energy Efficient Dynamic cognitive Aware (EEDCA) method reduces traffic, and data can transmit efficiently. The proposed EEDCA method is used to analyze path traffic and improves the energy of the node when the sender node sends packet to the target node. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the data loss and the amount of retransmissions and improve the throughput performance, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), and improve node energy. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method compared with the other methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Metaphors frequently appear in financial news headlines due to their ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts and market trends in a concise and memorable manner. cognitive scientists have found that metaphors serve as the reflections of human cognition by means of concept mappings. In this work, we aim to analyze the metaphorical expressions and associated cognitive patterns employed by financial analysts in the headlines of financial analysis reports. Such an examination would enhance our comprehension of the cognitive state of financial analysts regarding various financial trends. We employ the latest computational metaphor processing tool, MetaPro to achieve this target by mining metaphors and cognitive patterns from 1,407,328 financial analyst report headlines, spanning the period from 14 February 2009 to 11 June 2020. We analyze the mined concept mappings by different time periods, and market movements, and deliver novel findings in these two dimensions.
