The article describes the problem of operational planning of steelmaking production. The analysis of the production enterprise from the point of view of system approach is considered and the situational approach is applied to solve the problem of shift-daily scheduling. The authors propose the development of an intelligent decision support system. Models for searching for precedents and systems of product rules for adapting the found precedent to the current situation in the conditions of steelmaking production are developed. Such a solution helps to reduce the downtime of units, the time of equipment changeover during the shift, which will allow to produce an additional volume of steel. © 2023 IEEE.

During the process of mineral grinding, mill load parameters (MLPs) determine the information of the mechanical signals. So, online MLPs detection is one of the key factors for improving the production efficiency of mineral processing plants. In this paper, the correlation between the multichannel mechanical signal and the different MLPs is explored by the power spectral density. Furthermore, the contribution rate of the multisource and multicomponent mechanical signals to the MLPs and mill load is measured on the basis of the correlation coefficient. Finally, a prediction model for MLPs can be constructed according to an adaptive decomposition strategy and the appropriate sub-signals. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.

Integrated energy system integration is an important technical measure to realize energy saving, emission reduction and energy saving. Loads in energy systems tend to vary non-linearly within a specific period. Aiming at the automatic control technology of RPA process, this paper uses Kalman filter to forecast the short-term comprehensive load of energy. In this paper, the model is used to make short-term forecast of energy comprehensive load. It shows that this method is better than Kalman filter in prediction accuracy. MATLAB simulation results show that this method can open a new path for short-term load forecasting of energy systems. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to improve the performance of the Brain-computer Interface (BCI) system, it is important to extract the feature vector which reflects nonlinearity and non-stationary of Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. This paper proposed an adaptive feature extraction method for BCI system based on multiclass motor imagery EEG signals. The proposed method extracts a feature vector related with time-frequency-spatial information of multiclass EEG signals from the continuous wavelet transform power spectral density (CWT-PSD) difference weighted by weight matrices which reflect the time-varying of EEG signals, in some channels which reflect well multiclass motor imagery. This method was evaluated on the EEG signals of BCI Competition IV Datasets 2a using SVM as classifier, and the performance results were compared with the results obtained by the Common Spatial Pattern (CSP) and Filter Band CSP (FBCSP) feature extraction method used Naïve Bayesian Parzen Window (NBPW) classifier. The average classification accuracy of the proposed method is 90.22% for the 4-class motor imagery based BCI, and the kappa coefficient of the proposed method is higher 1.38 times and 1.21 times than one of the CSP and FBCSP method, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

A phase of the Industrial Revolution known as the Data Revolution resulted in a paradigm shift towards the Internet of (industrial) things. Traditional wired infrastructure-based remote research methodology and automation systems have paved way to be more modern, adaptable systems, including wireless technology, battery-powered devices, and wireless sensor networks. The study explored LoRa technology to implement industrial wireless networks for sensors and actuators throughout the industry 4.0 era. This article briefly introduces LoRa before contrasting its effectiveness in industrial applications with more conventional industrial wireless technologies. The anticipated widespread use of consumer IoT networks has prompted the development of new wireless technologies. The industry will find this intriguing as well. These innovations in communications and computer systems are integrated with the Internet in Industry 4.0. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the fundamental tasks in computer vision is semantic segmentation, which is increasingly being widely applied, for example in autonomous driving. However, past research has often resulted in large computational overhead and high latency. To address this issue, we propose a lightweight architecture called Pyramid Simple Detail Injection Transformer (PSDFormer). Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our approach in lightweight semantic segmentation. On the Cityscapes dataset, PSDFormer achieves an mIoU of 66.78 while achieving 57.1 fps. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, computer science has evolved to the point where a computer can authenticate its owner using a basic picture-processing algorithm. People are currently adopting this vision in many parts of daily life, such as facial recognition, colour detection, autonomous autos, and so on. This concept uses hand and face motions to make an optical mouse and a hand-gesture-based virtual keyboard using computer vision. The computer's camera will scan a view of the different movements made by a person's face and eye. Based on the movement of the motions, the computer's mouse or pointer will move, even completing right and left clicks using different gestures. Similarly, several gestures may be used to access keyboard operations. For example, selecting letters can be done with one finger, and left and right swiping can be done with a four-figure motion. It will function as a virtual mouse and keyboard without the use of any connectors or other hardware. The camera is the only piece of hardware utilized in the project, and Python is used for the coding on the Anaconda platform. The computer will recognize user movements and respond correctly after mapping a few of them with the mouse and keyboard. © 2023 IEEE.

Cybersecurity for the Internet of Things is gaining more and more attention as the number of IoT devices has increased and the number of attack stargeting these devices continues to grow exponentially. However, the significant focus areas for security measures have been guaranteeing services' constant availability and protecting users' private data. But code integrity is not receiving the attention it deserves because these devices lack the horsepower to provide more robust safeguards. This issue necessitates more study into adapting standard procedures for code integrity to IoT gadgets. This paper describes a virtual machine-based technique for ensuring the correct execution of code on the Internet of Things. The feasibility of a virtual machine tailored to safeguard software during firmware upgrades is demonstrated here. The suggested method's low resource requirements on popular microcontrollers have been verified experimentally. The acquired findings prove that this secured technique for coding may work in practice. © 2023 IEEE.

This research focuses on achieving rapid and stable control of quadrotor unmanned aerial ve-hicles' (UAVs) attitude using an Active Disturbance Rejection Controller (ADRC). To tackle the challenge of numerous and complex ADRC parameters, optimization algorithms are employed for parameter tuning. We introduce a variable step-size search mechanism based on the Beetle Antennae Search algorithm (BAS) and leverage the Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) for pre-search. The parameter tuning results reveal that the refined optimization algorithm displays superior global optimization capability, convergence rate, and stability. Both simulation and experimental outcomes suggest that the ADRC controller with optimized parameters exhibits remarkable control and anti-disturbance performance. © 2023 IEEE.

In this research paper, we propose a robotic arm for writing using speech recognition, which uses a stepper motor and a NodeMCU. The robotic arm is capable of being controlled through voice commands, allowing it to write texts and draw images on paper. The stepper motor controls the arm's movements, while the NodeMCU acts as the microcontroller, responsible for interpreting voice commands and controlling the motor. The voice is recorded using an Android application, and then it is converted to text using a speech recognition Natural Language Processing Model. Through a Firebase database, this translated text is forwarded to Nodemcu. We have tested the accuracy and precision of the system, and the results are promising. © 2023 IEEE.
