Contrastive learning have been widely applied recently, since only with unlabeled data, it produced results comparable to the state-of-the-art supervised algorithm. Data augmentation plays an essential role in defining effective predictive task, influencing generalization of the model. We find that high-intensity data augmentation is conducive to achieving a wider aggregation of intra-class samples, obtaining more effective features to improve generalization;however, extremely strong augmentation leads to the information loss of different classes, resulting in cross-class deviation of samples, reducing model generalization. We demonstrate our finding through experiment on CIFAR-10 dataset, analyzing the impact of different data augmentation operations on recognition results and the corresponding reasons. Our experimental verification on the relationship between the data augmentation and the generalization of contrastive self-supervised learning agree with our theoretical description. © 2023 IEEE.

Because of its mature technology, simplicity, reliability and low cost characteristics, the ASI bus system will soon become an international standard, so it will be widely used and then greatly developed in automation and low-voltage switching electrical systems. Inspired by this, the paper proposes the intelligent production line control system based on the ASI communication considering machine vision. In the designed system, 2 aspects of innovations have been considered: (1) In the novel ASI bus system, the serial two-way digital communication method is adopted between the host computer and the slave computer. It will improve the robustness of the system. (2) The image processing model is based on the idea that the histograms of many images have high gray distribution intensity near the image gray mean. The real-time information with the segmentation is considered to conduct the efficient modelling. In the experiment section, the visualize results are presented and the robustness test is conducted. © 2023 IEEE.

During the robot grasping and operation process, the sliding problem will occur between the grasping object and the end tool. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a visual-tactile fusion slip detection model based on the 3D attention mechanism SimAM and an improved C3D convolutional neural network (C3D-VTSimAM). First, we set different widths and strengths to lift fixed heights to grab different objects, and obtain visual and tactile time series data to build a visual-tactile fusion slip detection data set and use it to train and test the network;then, the 3D attention mechanism SimAM is introduced to extract features from the visual and tactile data, and then fuse the visual and tactile feature vectors;fuse the visual and tactile feature vectors The experimental results show that the correct rate of robot grasping slip detection results reaches 98.37%, which is 4+% higher than that of the original C3D network and the introduction of CBAM and Self-Attention, which proves the effectiveness of the method, and provides a better reference value and theoretical support for the robot in terms of stability grasping and fine operation on tasks. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the closed-loop control strategy, current sensor faults in inverter systems are very destructive. Aiming at the fault estimation and fault tolerance of current sensors, this paper proposes a reduced-order observer-based fault estimation and fault tolerance method for grid-connected three-level neutral point clamped(NPC) inverter. Firstly, the fault model of the current sensor is established, and the augmented system for the inverte is proposed, and the augmented state vector is composed of the state vector of the original system, the fault signal of the current sensor and the disturbance signal. Then, the matrix transformation is used to decouple the disturbance sensor fault from the system state. Then, a reduced-order observer is designed for the decoupled system to achieve accurate estimation of the phase current and the current sensor fault. Finally, the fault-Tolerant strategy is designed through sensor fault compensation, so that the inverter can continue to work normally when the current sensor fails. Hardware-in-The-loop (HIL) test results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the problem that a single discriminant index is difficult to comprehensively evaluate the quality of tangelo, this paper explores a tangelo grading method based on deep neural network and fuzzy decision. Firstly, a tangelo grading model based on deep neural network and fuzzy decision was constructed, and its structure and functional characteristics were given;Secondly, based on Standard Normal Variate (SNV) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the spectral space construction mechanism of tangelo dry water defect characteristics is given. Then, a deep neural network model of dry water defect grade of tangelo is constructed;Thirdly, the Soluble Solids Content (SSC) feature spectral space extraction model based on Multivariate Scattering Correction (MSC) and PCA was constructed. A deep neural network regression model for SSC content of tangelo was constructed;Finally, based on fuzzy logic, a fusion decision classifier for tangelo grading was constructed. The experimental results show that the proposed method can realize the comprehensive decision of tangelo quality and effectively improve the utilization rate of fruit. © 2024 SPIE.

Developments for automation and advanced computing in the area of medical data processing has outcome with different new learning techniques. Deep learning has evolved as an advanced approach in machine learning applied to different old and new area of applications. Deep learning approaches have evolved as supervised, semi-supervised and un-supervised mode applied for different real time applications. The approach has shown a significant usage for image processing, computer vision, medical diagnosis, robotic and control operation application. Among various usage of machine learning approaches for automation, medical diagnosis has been observed as a new upcoming application. The criticality of data processing, response time, and accuracy in decision, tends the learning system more complex in usage for medical diagnosis. This paper outlines the developments made in the area of medical diagnosis and deep learning application for heart disease diagnosis. The application, database and the learning system used in the automation process is reviewed and outlined the evolution of deep learning approach for medical data analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

Considering the low accuracy of recommendation results of current collaborative filtering algorithms caused by data sparsity, this paper proposes a weighted Slope One collaborative filtering algorithm for improved user relevance (WSOCF-IUR). The proposed algorithm takes into account the influence of the number of different user comments and the number of common rating items on recommendation accuracy. In addition, by incorporating user activity and improving the Pearson correlation coefficient, the algorithm reduces the influence of interfering data on recommendations and improving the overall recommendation accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves better recommendation results than other collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.
