In the contemporary era of cloud computing, efficient and precise prediction of CPU utilization ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency in data centers. Traditional predictive models often need to be improved as these data centers grow in complexity and scale, necessitating more nuanced and integrative solutions. This paper introduces an advanced multi-layered learning framework meticulously designed to meet the demands of modern cloud data centers. Our innovative approach synergistically combines anomaly detection, data clustering, and ensemble-based regression prediction. The Isolation Forest algorithm is used during the preliminary stage to identify and address anomalies within the data. Subsequent phases harness the K-Means clustering algorithm, refine data categorization based on recurrent CPU usage patterns, and employ multilevel ensemble-based prediction models for accurate forecasting rooted in historical and real-time data trends. Through comprehensive evaluations, our model demonstrates significant improvements in prediction accuracy and robustness against the dynamism inherent in cloud environments. Our research paves the way for a more resilient, proactive, and efficient approach to CPU utilization prediction, laying the foundational stone for future innovations in cloud computing resource management. © 2023 IEEE.

Renewable energy resources are abundant and developing rapidly in the power industry. This article establishes a wind-solar energy storage hybrid power generation system and analyzes the coordinated operation of energy systems in multiple scenarios. In a multi-scenario energy environment, the hybrid wind-solar energy storage system, driven by wind and solar energy, uses compressed air as energy storage equipment and a cold water tank as an intermediate regulating element, which can absorb heat and improve compressor efficiency. Considering system operation and equipment constraints, a multi-objective optimization model was established to reasonably calculate and allocate wind energy on compressed trains and solar energy on extended trains, in order to achieve the goal of minimizing system costs and maximizing profits. The simulation results indicate that this analysis has inspiration in practical engineering applications and can provide reference value for the coordinated operation of multi-energy power supply systems. © 2023 IEEE.

With the integration of the new generation of information technology and traditional industries, industrial Internet equipment is moving towards automation and intelligence. The rapid development of information technology has also brought many security and management challenges. Research on industrial Internet intelligent security operation and maintenance technology can effectively improve the reliability and operation efficiency of equipment and reduce labor costs. This paper takes the rotating bearing equipment as an example, uses random forest and other algorithms to evaluate the equipment safety decline state, and uses the long-short-term neural network model (LSTM) to predict the degradation state of the equipment, and uses less resources for equipment operation and maintenance to avoid failures lead to serious consequences. At the same time, the classification model can resist false data injection to some extent, which shows the effectiveness of the work in this paper. © 2023 ACM.

To further reduce the roll that caused by sea waves, a control method for ship roll reduction based on combined rudder and fin stabilizer is designed. The four freedoms ship mathematical model is constructed. The influence of phase relationship between rudder and fin on anti-roll performance is considered in the controller design. The parameters of the controller are determined according to the phase matching relationship between rudder and fin. The heading control performance and roll reduction of ship are compared and analyzed by simulation. Finally, it is concluded that the roll reduction performance of combined rudder and fin stabilizer is better than linear quadratic regulator (LQR) fin roll stabilization. © 2023 IEEE.

Time-variant passenger flow is the primary contributor to train delays and passengers' discomfort on high-frequency metro lines. For the service provider, it is important to develop timely and adaptive strategies to the changes in demand and prevent risks caused by overcrowding on plat-forms. To minimize train delays and passengers' discomfort, we propose a traffic control framework that consists of three modules: the passenger flow module (PFM), the train operation module (TOM), and the headway optimization module (HOM). In real-time, the PFM calculates the passenger flow data, while the TOM adopts the model predictive control (MPC) strategy to minimize train delays by adjusting the running time and dwell time, of each train. When the platform is overcrowded, the HOM optimizes the headway for different stations. In this way, the proposed method successfully minimizes the number of stranded passengers, their total waiting time, and train delays. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, we provide numerical simulations based on actual operations. © 2023 IEEE.

Block interception attack, also known as block withholding attack, is an attack method in the blockchain. The attacker penetrates the target mining pool for passive mining to destroy the target mining pool. This paper briefly introduces the mining mechanism and the working principle of block interception attack, summarizes several models of block interception attack, studies the attack methods and benefits of the existing block interception attack models, and analyses their attack effects. A block interception attack model is constructed to increase the rate of return while increasing the rate of return. The completed model is verified through simulated mining experiments. The typical and made models are compared and analyzed based on the rate of return. Finally, the applicable environments of different attack models are given based on the experimental results. © 2024 The Author(s).

As society progresses and living conditions enhance, global domestic waste generation has witnessed a significant surge., and the problem of domestic waste separation has attracted more and more attention from the viewpoint of creating a circular economy (CE) society. Advances in machine learning and robotics offer a promising solution to this problem. Particularly, the intricacies of waste classification at the household level result in high misclassification rates, leading to inefficient waste management and recycling. Our research focuses on utilizing deep learning and robotic technologies to mitigate these issues. In this paper, we aim to design a domestic waste resource classification system built on the YOLOv5 algorithm and a household robotic arm. By integrating computer vision and machine learning with the YOLOv5 target detection algorithm and precise robotic arm operations, the system can automatically identify, classify, and sort different types of waste resources. The critical challenges that the system effectively addresses include reducing manual intervention, minimizing time consumption, and improving the accuracy of household recycling classification, while promoting the development of environmental awareness. To effectively reduce manual intervention, decrease time consumption, and enhance the accuracy of household waste classification, our main contribution is the development of an integrated system for more efficient household waste resource management. © 2023 IEEE.

The research study explores the Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), the ways for ensuring supply consistency at reasonable rates while maintaining high quality requirements in the product network. To achieve the objectives of modern manufacturing, it is necessary to handle the enormous information generated by the many production planning participants. In a supply chain, however, it might be challenging to meet with vendor faith and confidentiality standards because of the nature of the business. While this article is concerned with a possible use of blockchain in SCQM, it also provides an in-depth technological study of its technological viability, as well as strategies for migrating from the present methodologies to blockchain-based platforms. It is also mentioned how blockchain may be used in an interesting place to keep recommendation data. Blockchain combined with IoT may enhance SCQM in an Advanced Manufacturing framework as well compliances of obstacles occurs with lots of prospects. © 2023 IEEE.

Lung cancer is one of the cancers with the highest incidence and mortality in the world, and early detection of lung nodules can effectively reduce the mortality rate of lung cancer. At present, most of the lung nodule detection methods based on deep learning face the problem of low sensitivity or high false positive rate. This paper proposes a loss function suitable for the clinical features of lung nodules and introduces a novel Squeeze-and-Excitation module in the depth direction, which alleviates the problem of high false positive rate in the detection process and achieves good results. In this paper, the competition performance metric (CPM) on the LUNA16 dataset reached 88.16%. © 2023 IEEE.
