Web scraping is the process of autonomously obtaining data from webpages using computer software or tools. It has grown in popularity in recent years because of the volume of data available on the internet and the necessity for organizations and individuals to analyze and utilize this data to get the necessary and important information out of it for further analysis and application. Web scraping, together with automation tools, can create wonders. In this paper, we have focused on the latest web scraping techniques and their applications. One of the ideas is to assist those looking for employment on different firm job portals, which is discussed in this paper. Job tracking and scraping collect data from multiple platforms and are web-based tools that help job searchers locate the ideal job for them based on their categories and organize their job search more effectively. People are always on the lookout for a place where they can get their desired information so that they can easily apply for a job. After the collection of data based on user profile attributes, we recommend their success rate based on previous records and an appropriate machine learning model, and we also suggest what skills they can improve to land that job. Web scraping tools allow us to extract the necessary data from different websites in real time and present it to the user. We have discussed various ways to implement scraping and propose a job algorithm to process the extracted data and make it into meaningful information to help users land the best job. © 2023 IEEE.

This study introduces complex variable element-free Galerkin (CVEFG) method to analyze Helmholtz equation with variable wave numbers. Approximation functions are established by applying complex variable moving least-squares (CVMLS) approximation, thus Lagrange multiplier method is chosen for the enforcement of Dirichlet boundary condition. As a result, ultimate solution equation for CVEFG method applied to 2D Helmholtz equation is obtained through the utilization of the corresponding Galerkin weak form. The astringency of CVEFG method is examined in numerical examples through an analysis of the impact of nodes on relative errors. And CVEFG method has high accuracy and speed. © 2024 SPIE.

In this study, a controller combining flatness-based feedforward and model predictive control is proposed for the overhead crane with the double pendulum effect. This method handles effectively two main problems: tracking and payload vibration reduction. This approach not only takes advantage of flatness control to find suitable forces promptly but also uses MPC to satisfy many constraints of the system in real life. To demonstrate the robust effectiveness of the suggested control strategy against the crane system, the experimental results of this method are compared with conventional model predictive control. © 2023 IEEE.

Industrial controllers and plants are crucial tools for teaching in universities, colleges, and institutes to bridge the gap between academia and industry. This paper introduces a multi-functional industrial plant that employs a programmable logic controller (PLC) for process automation. The industrial plant consists of a pump, a heating system, various types of sensors (such as pressure and temperature sensors), and different valves (including manual acting, pneumatic, and proportional solenoid valves), which can be configured in different combinations to serve different process control purposes. To expand the input and output capabilities and distribute the input/output (I/O) modules, a Siemens SIMATIC ET 200SP I/O system is connected to a Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC using Profinet communication networks. A case study is provided to verify the effectiveness of the process control station.

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm applications and the rapid development of the UAV self-organizing network system, the related security threats have also increased. In this paper, we conduct the communication model of the UAV swarm cooperative disaster relief system by verifying the security attributes of the UAV swarm cooperative disaster relief system based on the dynamic source routing (DSR) protocol and we also analyze and verify their security attributes. Finally, we propose a novel scheme to model, characterize, and verify the security attributes of the UAV swarm communication networks. It provides a formal analysis and verification method for verifying the security attributes of self-organized network systems, simplifying a series of challenging verification processes that come with demonstrating the security attributes of the system through simulation experiments. © 2024 SPIE.

As industrial robots wildly applied in advanced manufacturing fields, the accuracy requirement of robot keeps increasing. In this paper, a joint position sensitive virtual tool transformation fitting method is proposed to improve the pose accuracy of industrial robot. Firstly, the kinematic model based on Modified Denavit-Hartenberg (MD-H) model and the joint position sensitive error model are presented. Secondly, a virtual tool transformation fitting method based on Chebyshev interpolation polynomial is proposed. Finally, several experiments have been done to validate the performance of the proposed method. The experimental results show that the average position and orientation errors are reduced from (0.61883mm, 0.00418rad) to (0.06660mm, 0.00078rad). The maximum position and orientation errors decrease to (0.23912mm, 0.00263rad). The proposed method demonstrates significant advantages in terms of improvement balance between position and orientation accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates the cognition problem of surroundings for the agent only with the knowledge of angle measurement. In this paper, in virtue of the local motion information of the agent, the problem determining the agent's position and attitude in surroundings with only angle measure-ment is attributed to solve linear algebraic equations. Based on the obtained position and attitude information, the localization problem of the object in surroundings is handled by solving overdetermined linear algebraic equations. Finally, the proposed methods are verified by the experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

When it comes to the virtual machine tool assembly process, there are problems such as assembly errors. Based on the general idea of correct assembly, it is proposed to innovate the assembly process by utilizing the enclosing box and separating axis theorem and GJK algorithm, so as to monitor the state of the detection process, which verifies the effective feasibility of the monitoring method and provides a new idea for the assembly process of virtual CNC machine tools. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Due to the increased reliance on technology in modern times, the likelihood of cyberattacks has increased. With the advent of remote working and internet business, the threat landscape has grown, making it harder for enterprises to defend their data and systems. As a result, robust cybersecurity measures, such as footprinting techniques, are more important than ever before. Footprinting can assist businesses in recognizing possible vulnerabilities in their networks and systems, enabling them to take preventative steps to bolster their security posture. Also, it can assist companies in identifying possible dangers and preventing attacks before they materialize. Footprinting is a crucial component of the pre-attack stage of a cyber-attack, as it helps attackers discover the most vulnerable locations in a network or computer system. This work explores the artificial intelligence for Footprinting and evaluates two widely-used classifiers, Decision Tree and Naive bayes, employing precision and recall parameters. The DT classifier has a higher success rate in recognising certain sorts of attacks, whereas the Naive-Bayesian classifiers has a greater rate of accuracy in detecting a wide variety of fraudulent activity. During the first stage of the research, both classifiers obtain outstanding recall and accuracy rates, with the DT classifiers achieving a recall and precision of 99% and the Naive-Bayesian method earning an average recall and precision of 98%. The results indicate that the efficacy of these classifier depends on the particular qualities of the data and the classification task's objectives. The study emphasises the footprinting potential of machine learning. © 2023 IEEE.

The rise of the short-form video industry marks a revolutionary change in the digital media landscape. This has opened up new opportunities for content distribution and creation but has also brought about several challenges, one of which is the difficulty of effectively protecting video copyrights. In the industrial sector, for example, the industrial digital design, manufacturing, and production process often generate a large amount of video data. If these videos are stolen, copied, or tampered with by unauthorized third parties, infringement issues can arise. To effectively monitor and protect the video copyrights of users or enterprises, this paper proposes a lightweight video clip fast matching (KMP-FVFM) algorithm. The algorithm utilizes the idea of Knuth-Morris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm, which takes into account the inter-frame fragment relationship of the query video to improve the video matching speed. At the same time, the duplicate segment locations are pinpointed in the original video. This paper also implements a plain method for video fragment matching, and the experimental results show that KMP-FVFM can effectively improve the efficiency of video fragment matching. © 2023 IEEE.
