The three-phase distribution system is evolving towards a more unbalanced one in terms of load consumption, which is harmful to both the distribution grid and user equipment. In this study, we integrate the voltage imbalance constraints into the three-phase distribution level market. However, the three-phase distribution locational marginal price (DLMP) may inevitably be affected and exhibit differences between phases. The deployment of distributed energy sources (DERs) is driving the distribution system to be more flexible and could help alleviate the imbalances of three-phase voltage and DLMP. First, the coupling relationship between phases is modelled, and three-phase unbalanced voltage constraints are considered by limiting the magnitude difference between phases. Next, the three-phase nonlinear power losses are linearized via the Taylor expansion. Then, a three-phase distribution market model with multiple types of DERs is established. Finally, the proposed model is tested on the IEEE 33-bus system. The simulation results show that the integration of voltage imbalance constraints and DERs can make the voltage profile between phases more balanced and significantly impact the three-phase DLMP. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2023.

The purpose of this research paper is to explore different approaches to maximize power point tracking (MPPT) in photovoltaic (PV) systems. In this work, we evaluate and compare incremental conductance (InC) and fuzzy logic control techniques. To extract the highest amount of power, a DC/DC boost converter is employed between the PV system and the load. Traditional MPPT techniques like InC have demonstrated limitations in effectively identifying and precisely tracking the highest peak, leading to significant power losses, Therefore, a proposed approach called fuzzy logic control is recommended, which provides several advantages including robustness against parameter variations, minimal distortion in current output, and superior reference tracking. Simulation results conducted in MATLAB confirm that the suggested control method effectively reduces steady-state fluctuations and achieves improved tracking of the maximum power point with reduced power losses compared to InC control. ©2023 IEEE.

In recent years, the technology of writing data news report by using artificial intelligence has been rapidly developed. The news that is generated automatically has strong timeliness. However, due to lack of humanistic care, it can't be widely used in long reports. Based on the collection and analysis ability on data of artificial intelligence, the data news can be completed by program algorithms and machine learning. By taking use of natural disaster data extracted by crawler, and achieving recognition and classification of disaster weather warning images by convoluted networks, this paper comes up with the model of data and images in the natural disaster news report based on artificial intelligence technology processing. © 2023 IEEE.

Cotton frequently experiences substantial yield reduction due to disease afflictions. This paper introduces a proof-of-concept mobile application that employs transfer learning with pre-trained MobileNetV3 and NASNetMobile models to detect cotton plant diseases. The system addresses a four-class problem, identifying the health status of cotton plants or leaves. Using TensorFlow, these models are refined with publicly available data and deployed on an iOS app. This study also provides a performance assessment of both models, previously unexplored in this specific context. The methodology, showcasing significant potential for real-world implementations, recorded overall accuracies of 97.7% for NASNetMobile and 96.7% for MobileNetV3. © 2023 IEEE.

Routing in mobile wireless sensor network is a challenging task. Due to mobility of the nodes the topology of the sensor network keeps changing continuously. In this paper an energy efficient routing protocol for mobile wireless sensor network based Internet of Things has been proposed. The proposed protocol can handle faults a node level and link level. The proposed protocol creates tree considering the mobile sensor nodes. The simulation results are presented and it has been found that the proposed protocol outperforms the benchmark protocols. The future scope of the work is outlined. © 2023 IEEE.

With the increasing amount of computation in high-performance computing, the scale of interconnection networks is becoming larger and larger. It is inevitable that processors or links in the network become faulty. Therefore, it is very important for a processor to understand the security status of itself and neighbors, and then adaptively and reliably communicate. However, the existing security information models consider faulty processors or faulty links separately, and do not consider the situation where both processors and links fail simultaneously. The Exchanged Hypercube is an excellent interconnection network structure which achieves a balance between network functionality and hardware overhead while preserving many excellent properties of the Hypercube. In this paper, we propose an adaptive fault-tolerant routing algorithm of the Exchanged Hypercube based on an improved local security information model, which considers the faulty processors and faulty links simultaneously. This algorithm always can select suitable processors for routing based on the local security information and unsafe coefficients of processors, which greatly reduces the impact of the faulty of networks. The adaptive fault-tolerant routing algorithm of the Exchanged Hypercube network is not only suitable for regular networks but also for heterogeneous networks since the Exchanged Hypercube is a semi regular network. Sufficient experimental results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has a lower packet loss rate, a higher success rate, and a shorter average path length. © 2023 IEEE.

Pure azimuth passive positioning is a positioning method that uses passive reconnaissance equipment to receive signals so as to determine the location of the target signal source;in order to locate the UAV that passively receives signals, this paper establishes a UAV positioning model based on single-objective optimization and conducts simulation, and finds that the sum of squared errors between the results obtained through the model and the actual results is 0.3335220∗10-6;when the UAV position deviates, a UAV position adjustment model based on multi-objective optimization is established and a computer simulation scenario is set up. It is found that if the UAV position under circular formation deviates slightly, only five adjustments are needed to make UAVs reach the specified position. © 2023 IEEE.

Predicting future time series values is one of the most difficult problems in the field. This study of time series data covers a wide range of topics, from classification and forecasting to inference and analysis. The forecast is typically accurate when the time series databases are utilized with the quickest growth rates, despite the fact that it can be predicted using a variety of techniques. The work proposed is a unique deep learning-based time series hybrid model dependent on regression, which is a combination of different algorithms for predicting web traffic. © 2023 IEEE.

Visual computing is vital for numerous applications. In conventional visual computing systems, CMOS image sensors (CIS) act as pure imaging devices for capturing images, however, recent CIS designs increasingly integrate processing capabilities such as Deep Neural Networks (DNN), which give rise to a notion of in-sensor computing. In this paper, we propose a new concept, learned in-sensor visual computing, which exploits end-to-end optimization of in-sensor processing and downstream vision tasks to achieve better overall algorithm accuracy and adopts hardware/algorithm co-design to achieve ultra-low sensor energy consumption. Two examples of the learned in-sensor visual computing, Leca and EDGAzE, are demonstrated. © 2023 IEEE.

Blast furnace ironmaking is a critical step in the development of heavy industry in urban areas. When multiple types of ash are generated and need to be reused, it is necessary to re-proportion them for proper utilization. However, due to practical limitations, material component content cannot achieve real-time detection, making ash re-proportioning a challenging task. To address this issue, we propose a Long Short-Term Memory Neural Network (LSTM) with sliding windows to predict the composition of blast furnace secondary ash that has not been tested. By utilizing the temporal nature of the data, a sliding window partitions the dataset, and Firefly Algorithm (FA) is employed to optimize the window size. The model is then trained, and multiple component content predictions are generated. The model data is derived from the actual two-year inspection and testing data of a steel and iron plant in China. The experimental results show that the predicted results of the model are close to the true values, confirming the feasibility of the FA-LSTM model with sliding windows to accurately predict the material composition. This study provides computer technology and means to support the utilization of ash, which has high application value. Furthermore, it offers data support for the input of material volume during workers' work, which can help solve proportion issues in the ash cycle. © 2023 IEEE.
