In aquaculture, dissolved oxygen (DO) levels affect fish growth and survival. Automated monitoring and prediction of DO is challenging and becomes expensive if unnecessary sensors are used. This study aims to identify the optimal water and environmental parameters for DO prediction. Data from the fishpond station of Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University were pre-processed and used for training using LSTM, GRU, BiLSTM, and BiGRU. The performance of the models was evaluated and contrasted using three error measures. The results showed that GRU gave the best performance compared to the other models. In conclusion, the best parameters for DO prediction are water pH and water temperature. © 2023 IEEE.

Floods are one of the most common and adverse disasters that the world faces. In India, floods are seemed as the disaster that happens often and pose extreme risk to lives and belongings. Forecasting floods can greatly reduce the risk and effect of the forthcoming flood. A large quantity of parameters is answerable for flood occurrence. The amount of rainfall and temperature are the most vital parameters for inflicting floods. Hence rainfall and temperature are used as determinants inside the look at. Machine learning model such as logistic regression, Naive bayes, k-Nearest neighbours, support vector machines (SVM) and random forests generally generate a model or computation method to label the results. Further, in latest days, hybridization techniques are expected to yield better results, wherein multiple models are combined to provide a new model. The proposed work is to develop a hybrid model called HMM-ML which includes Hidden Markov model with the above cited ML models. as a result, HMM acts as a first-class-tuner to stimulate the model. The developed model is validated against the region Kozhikode located in the State of Kerala, India which gets the maximum amount of rainfall during the period between June - August. © 2023 IEEE.

The standardization assessment of handwritten Chinese characters currently often relies on manual feature extraction, which excessively depends on subjective experience and lacks feature extraction capability. To address this, this article proposes an improved GoogleNet network for the standardization assessment of handwritten Chinese characters. First, it replaces the standard convolution in the original Inception block with dilated convolution to increase the receptive field and capture more detailed features. Second, it replaces the activation function with Leaky ReLU to reduce feature loss during backpropagation. Next, an attention mechanism is introduced to focus on the key features of Chinese characters. Finally, transpose convolution is introduced at intermediate layers of the network, incorporating shallow-level features to enhance the network's ability to learn Chinese character features. Experimental results demonstrate that the accuracy of this method is improved by 4.87% compared to the original network, reaching 83.96%. © 2023 IEEE.

With the acceleration of urbanization, the amount of garbage has skyrocketed. This makes the burden of sorting waste by manual means heavier and heavier, resulting in a large amount of waste accumulation. In this context, the classification of household garbage gradually received attention. In order to improve the efficiency of garbage classification, we should deal with the increasingly complicated garbage classification work and make garbage classification intelligent and efficient. In this paper, convolutional neural network intelligent algorithm is used to solve the classification problem of organic and inorganic garbage in daily life. The accuracy can reach 90.34% only with low sequence training. Compared with existing commonly used garbage classification and recognition algorithms, the proposed garbage classification and recognition algorithm has better recognition performance and is more suitable for widespread application. © 2023 IEEE.

On December 10, 2021, a significant remote-code-execution (RCE) vulnerability called Log4Shell was made public. The primary goal of this research project is to offer solutions for the flaws, risks, and threats that arise in Industry 4.0 due to the emergence of new devices and technologies. This will enable the identification of these issues and the taking of preventive measures before a crisis arises. In this work, we quantify the surge in scanner activity in the two months following the revelation. We watch both researchers and attackers from a variety of angles. Observing A bot is used in the manufacturing facility to keep an eye on the safety of various units. The robot quickly moves between different units, assesses their safety, and notifies the safety unit of its findings. The authors will go into detail about the technology, operation, and design of it in this study. © 2023 IEEE.

The aim of this study is to highlight the utility and applicability of Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology in addressing the existing challenges of precision control of beams in performing manipulation of two-dimensional atomic systems or states of a qubit in Quantum Optics setups. This study specifically focuses on the utility of a controllable MEMS based Micromirror that maneuvers a laser source to access multiple positions of a qubit in a two-dimensional trapped lattice;an application of pertinent interest to Experimental Quantum Computation. This paper focuses on simulating a MEMS based micromirror system proposed by (Knoernschild et al. [1]) in COMSOL and analyzing its architecture. © 2023 IEEE.

This article demonstrates the results of the implementation of the strategy while students are studying the topics of the discipline 'Operating systems' based on the development of educational board games with augmented reality technology. Relationships between the development of education augmented reality board games and soft skills in computer science are shown. Recommendations on the use of play-components of game mechanics (random, select, manage, move, shoot, write) for board game elements (dice, coin, card, token) with paper markers are given. © 2023 IEEE.

By adding a glass microsphere that was modified by different methods to a polyurethane foam system, a hollow glass microsphere/polyurethane foam composite was prepared. The effect of the modified method, the additive amount of glass microsphere on the burning and mechanical properties of rigid polyurethane foam was studied. The results show that after adding a glass microsphere, the mechanical properties of rigid polyurethane foam were reduced, and the combustion performance was improved. Comparing adding a hollow glass microsphere that modified by adding microcapsules to the coupling agent, the mechanical properties of polyurethane composite foam were declined slowly, and the inflame-retarding effect was also significantly improved. When the additive amount of hollow glass microsphere modified by microcapsules was 6%, the compressive strength and compressive modulus of polyurethane foam were decreased by 13.0% and 4.6% respectively. When the amount of hollow glass microsphere modified by microcapsules was 8%, the level combustion weightlessness speed of polyurethane declined from 0.024g/s to 0.015g/s. © 2023 SPIE.

The new generation of children faces increased vulnerability, particularly due to the rise of remote learning and excessive screen time leading to a sedentary lifestyle also with the concern of diseases like COVID-19, the child's health monitoring and child's immunization status becomes very crucial. These factors contribute to potential mental and physical health issues for the child in future. This research paper deals with this major issue addressing all the major aspects of children's health and it aims to compare it with the project and the previous research and work done on this topic. The data effective technology used in the project like React and mongoDB also helps to scale up the proposed project with much advance and easy-to-use interface and data visualization contributes to a large part of its effectiveness. The healthcare sector as a whole has a high administrative burden. Whether through doctors, nurses, laboratories, financial departments, accounting, pharmaceutical departments, among other entities, it is essential that everyone connects to monitor the patient. However, the administrative burden associated with these processes is extremely high which makes the tasks of the health sector more difficult to carry out. It is in this sense that the implementation of a technology such as Robotic Process automation (RPA) allows all these routines but necessary tasks to be performed by capable software "robots"that respect rules that will allow to respond to all needs. It was found in the literature that there are few works related to the implementation of RPA in medical and healthcare services. The objective of this work is focused on a literature review to identify how RPA contributes to medical and health services in a context of sustainability. This work analyzes some studies available in the literature, analyzing them from the perspective of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) related to environmental, social and economic effects. Regarding the results of this study, it appears that there is still a lot of room to improve research in this area, for example, with regard to the development of implementation models, governance and also to optimize the efficiency of RPA, in medical and healthcare administrative services, taking into account the TBL of the concept of sustainability. © 2024 The Author(s).
