This project introduces a groundbreaking Gesture-Based computer Control System aimed at enhancing digital inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities. Traditional computer interfaces often impose limitations on these users, creating obstacles to their digital engagement. This innovative system revolutionizes their interaction with computers by utilizing intuitive gestures. The core components of this system consist of an Air Mouse, Air Keyboard, and Air Canvas, all designed to provide an enriched computing experience. The Air Mouse enables precise cursor control and selection through natural hand movements, eliminating the need for physical pointing devices. The Air Keyboard translates gestures into text and commands, offering an alternative input method for those with restricted mobility. The Air Canvas empowers users to create digital art and interact with software using intuitive hand gestures, fostering creativity and productivity. By embracing gesture-based interaction, this project aims to empower individuals with physical disabilities, granting them greater control over their digital environment while dismantling traditional accessibility barriers. This innovative system promotes inclusivity and is a huge step towards a more accessible, inclusive and user-friendly computing landscape for everyone. © 2023 IEEE.

Power load forecasting has important research value for power grid coordination scheduling, power distribution load, regional production planning and so on. In order to improve the accuracy of power load forecasting, based on the BP neural network model, this paper optimizes the BP neural network parameters by genetic algorithm, organically combines their respective global search ability and local search ability, and updates and improves the weights and thresholds of the neural network. In the analysis of power load forecasting in a city, the prediction error MAPE value of the model is 2.0102 %, which is significantly higher than that of the single BP neural network model, and has reliable reliability and generalization ability. © 2023 IEEE.

A massive source of terabytes of data is produced consistently from advanced data frameworks and innovation such as distributed/cloud computing, mobile network devices, and the Internet of Things. However, maintaining data veracity in handling such vast and diverse datasets presents significant challenges. In response to these challenges, Federated Learning (FL) emerges as a promising candidate to address the veracity issues in big data analytics. The distributed approach of FL not only ensures data privacy but also mitigates the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access, enhancing data security and veracity. In this paper, we present a Secure and Scalable Peer-to-Peer FL (P2P-FL), a novel approach that tackles the challenges of maintaining data veracity while simultaneously enhancing security and scalability through the utilization of multi-level encryption-decryption processes. This approach eliminates the need for a central server and allows federates to communicate directly, optimizing the efficiency of FL. Differential privacy techniques further ensure individual data privacy. Overall, our approach advances the effectiveness and security of machine learning models in privacy-sensitive environments. In our study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis traditional FL and Peer-to-Peer P2P-FL. We evaluated the performance based on accuracy, loss, and F1 score metrics. The results showcased the effectiveness of our Secure and Scalable Peer-to-Peer FL approach. © 2023 IEEE.

Industry and media have long represented automation as a harbinger of development and convenience in different areas of life. An anxious prospect to some, automation systems promise "progress"and profitability to others by conjuring corporate computational futures. What remains behind the scenes of these predictions and imaginaries of automation is the invisible human labor of global ghost workers caring for, maintaining, and repairing technologies. Invisible but irreplaceable, computation performed by humans in precarious conditions fills gaps that computer technologies lack skills and sensibility for. In this hybrid workshop, we ask who the "ghosts"are in the machines. The workshop will address the ghostly presence of humans and human labor in automation and its challenges to HCI research and design. © 2023 Owner/Author.

The term "Internet of things (IoT) security"refers to the software industry concerned with protecting the IoT and connected devices. Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of devices connected with computers, sensors, actuators, or users. In IoT, each device has a distinct identity and is required to automatically transmit data over the network. Allowing computers to connect to the Internet exposes them to a number of major vulnerabilities if they are not properly secured. IoT security concerns must be monitored and analyzed to ensure the proper working of IoT models. Protecting personal safety while ensuring accessibility is the main objective of IoT security. This article has surveyed some of the methods and techniques used to secure data. Accuracy, precision, recall, f1 score, and area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve are the assessment metrics utilized to compare the performance of the existing techniques. Further the utilization of machine learning algorithms like Decision Tree, Random Forest, and ANN tests have resulted in an accuracy of 99.4%. Despite the results, Random Forest (RF) performs significantly better. This study will help to gain more knowledge on the smart home automation and its security challenges. © 2023 IEEE.

Four-rotor UAV is an underactuated, strong coupling, and nonlinear system. The flight control results will have a large deviations, because of the uncertainty of the model and the influence of wind force. For this reason, the uncertainty and disturbance estimator (UDE) is adopted, and the extreme value search method (ES) is introduced to adjust the parameters of UDE. The trajectory controller of UAV with strong anti-disturbance ability is designed to reduce the deviation. Through experiments of trajectory tracking simulation. The effectiveness of UDE after introducing ES is verified. This electronic document is a 'live' template. The wearable devices use piezoelectric power generation technology to collect the energy generated by human motion. Using the new piezoelectric material PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), the piezoelectric oscillator is prepared according to the structural characteristics of the piezoelectric film, and then the piezoelectric oscillator based on the PVDV film is fixed to the physical device to complete the production of the piezoelectric power generation module that collects human motion energy. By testing the power generation module, the output data can be obtained and used as the basis for the design of each sub-module, and the hardware circuit of the autonomous power supply system is designed accordingly. The AC/DC circuit and buck circuit in the hardware circuit are made to simulate Multisim respectively. The system is physically worn to the human body for practical testing. © 2023 IEEE.

In a mobile communication system using UAV as movable base station, it is necessary to design cell partitioning appropriately according to the user's bandwidth demand. In this paper, we propose a partitioning method that considers UAV capacity, minimizing the overall system outage and maximizing throughput. Simulation results show that that our proposed method can improve total throughput without outage compared to the conventional Voronoi cell partitioning. © 2023 IEEE.
