Industrial safety is more important in both safety of human being and machines. To ensure this the temperature of the machine is monitored continuously and if any abnormal situation arises, the machine will be isolated from the supply using IoT. Similarly, the sound and vibration inside the factory is monitored using vibration sensor and intimated to the control room if needed. The control room may be located in remote place the information will be sent to them using IoT. Vibration may induce due sudden fall of any heavy materials, braking of machine shaft, fall of objects from Crane, etc. The vibration caused by the unexpected incident will be identified by the vibration sensor provide in the factory/ Industry in various places. The sensor will alarm by siren and intimate to the operator or control room. SMS (Small Message Service) also send to the operator through GSM. © 2023 IEEE.

Avian species taxonomy is an important activity in the domain of ornithology, wildlife preservation, and ecological research. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) a widely used tool for automating categorization jobs in recent years. This abstract provides an overview of applying Eagle-Eye CNN to the classification of bird species. The methodology originates with image pre-processing, comprising scaling, normalization, and augmentation, to strengthen model resilience. Subsequently, the feature extraction is accomplished inside the CNN architecture layers. Moreover, the use of transfer learning harnesses the proposed CNN model, fine-tuned for the particular job of the Eagle-Eye vision engine for bird species classification. The proposed pre-trained model can also be used for other classification tasks. This technique attains a remarkable accuracy of 89% due to its large dataset and holds potential for further applications across avian taxonomy. In summary, CNNs offer an effective avenue for automated bird or avian classification, permitting more efficient and exact bird behavior study thus enhancing avian conservation attempts. © 2023 IEEE.

Human posture detection plays an important role in areas such as human behavior analysis and human-computer interaction. Deep learning based methods are one of the mainstream approaches. In practice, detection models are often deployed in resource-constrained edge devices for privacy protection, increased realtime, etc. However, most of the pose detection is for dynamic scenes, which requires high detection speed and accuracy, and thus models are mostly complex in structure and decentralized computation. Aiming at the above difficulties, this paper proposes a multi-person pose detection method, implements a lightweight detection network-RepPose, and deploys it on an embedded device. Specifically, this paper proposes a branch pruning scheme based on the reparameterized structure;and designs a high-performance post-processing operator for the post-processing part;in addition, we also propose a multi-threaded parallel accelerated inference scheme. Finally, it is deployed on Huawei Atlas200DK, and the result reaches 26FPS in the multi-target detection experiment, and achieves more than 90% classification accuracy in pedestrian state detection experiment in simple traffic scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Critical wind speed is a key factor in performing ice-covered conductor gallop stability. Accurately predicting the critical wind speed of ice-covered transmission lines helps to prevent the occurrence of transmission line galloping. Adopting quasi-constant theory, comprehensively considering the change rule of static aerodynamic coefficients of ice-covered transmission line under different angles and different Reynolds numbers, the accurate solution method of obtaining critical wind speed is proposed. Through specific case studies show that the method proposed in this paper is reliable and accurate. © 2023 IEEE.

Industry 4.0 has driven the need for Information technology (IT) & Operational technology (OT) convergence to modernize OT by leveraging IT. The challenges for manufacturing operations are utilizing and converting years of scattered data into valuable information integrated into the company's digital transformation strategy. This paper aims to provide a systematic literature review of current evidence in digital transformation for acquiring automation & control technologies data in manufacturing operations, such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control System (DCS), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES), for analytics purposes and identify the current trends and best practices in this area. The findings cover current information on influential researchers, published journals, research trends, industries, industry types, types of analytics applications, methods, and frameworks for acquiring automation & control technologies data from the legacy OT infrastructure. © 2023 The Authors. Broaching is the most important processing technology of mortise and tenon of aviation turbine disk. The precision of broaching equipment determines the processing quality of mortise and tenon. According to the principle of multi-body kinematics and the homogeneous coordinate transformation, the mathematical model of static accuracy analysis of the five-Axis aircraft turbine disk tenon broaching machine is established, and the tool setting error matrix is derived. Monte Carlo method was used to obtain the statistical distribution of errors in line with the assembly requirements and motion accuracy, and the simulation model of the tool process was built to complete the prediction of the static accuracy of the broaching machine. The influence of various errors in motion on the sensitivity of the tool accuracy was analyzed systematically. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of stable cursor hovering and "Midas Touch"that are difficult to achieve in the current eye-controlled cursor technology, this paper has carried out an experimental study on the stable input of the eye-controlled cursor: Firstly, divide the screen into several small rectangular areas. When the eye-controlled cursor appears in any rectangular region, the position of the cursor will be fixed at the center of the rectangular region, and there will be no shaking of the eye-controlled cursor in a small range due to the natural wobble of the eyeball pupil. Then, the screen interface UI and icon sizes are adjusted according to the screen division level, to ensure that there is only one click target in each small rectangular area of the screen, and to ensure that there is no ambiguity when clicking on the eye-controlled cursor. Finally, by combining the task completion time, task completion rate, error rate, task difficulty, performance indicators, user satisfaction and other test data information to determine the most appropriate screen division size. © 2023 IEEE.

Having an auto labeling machine in the company is much faster and later determined by the company, but there are times when using an auto labeling machine results in incompatibility with the installation of battery labels. Apart from that, there are often claims from consumers that the label is not placed in the right place because the installation is done automatically. Based on this problem, we developed a machine that can detect the quality of label placement on batteries using machine vision. This machine vision technology is combined with the Convolutional Neural Network method. The system can detect label placement errors on batteries with a standard level of accuracy. The system can detect and classify three categories of battery label conditions with the average precision results for each class for no label batteries, rejected batteries and ok batteries respectively being 97.8%, 100% and 100%. The mean average precision (mAP) value produced by the detection model was 99.4%. © 2023 IEEE.

The tilt system is the key part of the converter steelmaking, its function is to ensure the furnace can stop at any Angle. Due to the problem of excessive gear engagement gap between frequent starting and braking and positive and negative transfer, the impact force of the transmission parts is too large. This paper evaluates the dynamic impact on the transmission system. According to the center distance between the two gears, the gear engagement gap is 0.548mm to 1.083mm. Comparing the simulation of several different gear engagement gap values by ADAMS software, we shows that the contact force of the small gear and the engagement force of the gear engagement gap is proportional to the added value of the gear contact force. When the engagement gap exceeds 1.083mm, the contact force changes more significantly or even by an order of magnitude. © 2023 SPIE.
